We tried here after church. Not bad, kinda reminds me of if Dennys and Marie Calenders had a child, it would be Bob evans. Was disappointed in the breakfast I ordered. Would have been better if they included hash browns or something. I liked that they had real grits instead of instant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean. Will try the crepes next time, they looked really good. I think we will keep Bob evans in our rotation when we go to eat after church on Sundays. Price was fair. I applaud the waitress who did her best to deal with some difficult patrons, she did her best, it’s not her fault they were total jerks. Our waiter was deserving of the nice tip we gave him. Great experience, we will be back.

Our server, Kirk, was excellent. However, this will be the last time we come here. We loved coming here for several years but our last few visits here have continued to decline. Previously, our order took 30 minutes and it wasn’t busy and we constantly had to go get our server for refills, not to mention when we did finally get our order it was wrong. This time we got a good server and quick meal, unlike previously, however, the sirloin steak and eggs breakfast was just not right. We spoke to the manager Breanna Smith about the steak not resembling a sirloin, which she agreed several people have complained about, but looked more like roast beef. She was willing to allow a reorder. Every thing else we ordered was fine but we are just done. The manager seemed more interested in talking with several other servers and Kirk seemed to be working really hard. I felt bad for him.

Service was very slow. Food was just average. It was even slow to pay at the register. I saw 6 employees doing nothing while I waited to pay. I don’t see us stopping here again.

If I blind folded you and served you a meal from IHOP, Denny’s, Huddle House and Bob Evans would you be able to tell the difference? Probably not! There’s not too much I can say about Bob Evans other than it’s a nice, clean little breakfast place with a friendly staff. Was the food bad? No. Was it great? No. It was just good enough. Nothing more, nothing less. I had eggs, home fries, gravy, sausage and a lemonade. So how did it taste? Like eggs, home fries, gravy, sausage and a lemonade that you could get from any number of well-known breakfast places. Nothing more, nothing less. If I could do it all over again I would have gone to Cracker Barrel. That is an amazing breakfast! Get the blueberry pancakes with strawberries. It’s not overly sweet either.

I am extremely disappointed in this restaurant. They do not have enough servers in the evenings and they keep running out of turkey. The server brought out ice cream after a 15 minute wait but didn’t bring a spoon. We asked for a spoon and the server proceeded to take orders at 3 separate tables and never brought the spoon. We asked for a new sundae because the first melted and it came out 10 minutes later, half melted. At least we got a spoon that time. On past occasions the servers brought us the wrong food or added items to our check the we never ordered. This place has declined in the past year. I will not be back.

2 stars is very generous our waitress forgot our bread after 3 tines of asking her for it then when they brought the food they dropped a plate of food on 2 separate occasions, they cleaned up half of it and sat customers at the table with broken plate under it, when we told the manager she complained about how we were being rude and inconsiderate which blew me away, splitting checks didn’t come out right either

Very similar to a Denny’s or Perkins. You pay at the counter. Good quality and you get what you pay for. I enjoyed the $ 9.99 three course meal of salad or soup, endless rolls, entrée of chicken or steak and a dessert like chocolate sundae. Service was prompt and it was busy. Staff was polite.

Seemed to be understaffed(during diner hours). Food was fine, but servers were overworked and stretched pretty thin. Service took a long time as a result.

Service is fantastic and so is the coffee. Marissa is especially delightful! Food is pretty dang good too. Had the western omelette and I’d give it an 8. The hash browns were a 10!

Who doesnt like Bob Evans. Food was great. Service was great except for the fact we ordered the soup and half sandwich and the server didnt bother to tell us that for a dollar less than what we paid that we could have gotten all you can eat soup salad and sandwich with bread. we also didnt get any bread service either. I had to hear from my mother several states away that they offer endless soup salad and sandwich for $ 6.99. we Paid $ 7.99 for a one time deal. Actually it was $ 6.99 and they charged an extra dollar because we wanted a bowl of soup instead of a cup.

We went here because we love the frozen food that Bob Evans puts out. The restaurant itself was basically a coffee shop type atmosphere. The service had a lot to be desired. We sat there a long time before someone even got our drinks. Once ordered the food came out quickly. We had the Chicken n Noodles over mashed potatoes and a biscuit. The biscuit was nice and fluffy. I didn’t particularly like the Chicken n Noodles. The Noodles were large and over cooked and mushy and the chicken was dry. This place is ok if you want some comfort food, but only if you are traveling and in a hurry.

I only eat here a couple of times a year only because it is a bit out of my way. I do find the breakfast very good but have not tried any of the other entrée’s. Service was good.

I really don’t think that I will stop in at this Bob Evans ever again. We had to ask for refills on our coffee and the food was just satisfactory. Given that my husband and I are from Ohio we miss not having Bob Evans for breakfast down here in Austin, TX. However, I think that over the years Bob Evans has lost alot of its luster… I think that most of the food comes pre-made now… and the only thing made fresh would be the salads put together and the eggs, potatoes, and toast. To top it off, they didn’t have a changing table in the restroom which was really inconvenient. I had to use the counter to change my daughter on… I find with a little one in tow you stat to learn how kid unfriendly some places are. We won’t be stopping at this place again.

On our 3rd day driving cross country all the way from L.A. to OH on route 66, we stopped by for the night in Springfield. That was my 2ND time at Bob Evans Restaurant & I think food is generally good, specially the eggs benedict is really awesome! Very recommended! I just wish there were more healthier options, less fried & more fresh. The service this time was so-so, a young southern girl that could not understand what I want to order, one time she mistakenly brought items intended for another table to our table, but it can happened to anybody. One thing I don’t like in Bob Evans Restaurant is the interior design, I do understand the outdated theme but I gotta say, this one was extremely outdated & very«grandma has a shot gun» conservative style, which may still work here & there but in the long term, if this company wants to continue making money it should refresh its interior look since the new generation grows on different lines & designs. less flowers & wood, more straight clean & simple lines. Some food for thought. Other than that some healthier choices combined with the existing items on the menu would be a refreshing change. Yalla bye!
