Love, love, love!!! This place reminded me of growing up at home in my Grandma’s kitchen sitting down for breakfast. The homemade biscuits & gravy were delicious along with the apple butter per request. Eggs/hash brown casserole were tasty with a side of bacon which of course was a perfect complimentary. I also thoroughly enjoyed the grits but couldn’t eat them all. An LOVED the sweet tea! I’ll definitely return.

I would try everything half my meal was cold and the eggs was over done. And I am sorry that gravy was nasty ! The ham was good. My bill was $ 10.18 I said 3.00 tip. Now I look at my bill it said 6.00 tip plus the 3.00. That not right to charge people what they want. I know people that don’t make$ 9.00 a hour. I was not there fora what you get charge. It’s Christmas time !!

We always enjoy it here. We are actually on the verge of burnout. It’s a good place though. Good food, decent staffing, decent atmosphere, fun gift shop.

Let me preface this by saying we have ALWAYS loved Cracker Barrel breakfast. Until now, we’d only eating breakfast, their pancakes are soo delicious, complete with their thick cut bacon, delicious sausage, or turkey sausage, eggs made to order, it’s a great all around breakfast place. Now, we’ve finally tried their dinner. My husband ordered the special for the night the lemon pepper trout, it was bursting with so much flavor, and was so good that I was jealous I didn’t get it myself! Except that I got the chicken and dumplings and those were more of a comfort food, but oh sooo good. The chicken was moist, the dumplings were delicious and plentiful and the gravy/sauce all around was delicious. My kids ate most of my meal! Speaking of kids, my daughters got the kids burger, which was just a plain ol’ burger, nothing too special, but they both LOVED the macaroni and cheese. I agreed, my sides were a mac and cheese, and a mashed potato. The mashed potato wasn’t up to my standards, but I make them differently at home and with different potatoes, still they were good just not as flavorful as I would have liked. The green beans my husband got were only so-so, nothing too special, may have been canned, or at least boiling in a pot for a while. We usually like fresh green beans, or slightly roasted. Still, it was a great filling delicious meal and I would recommend Cracker Barrel any day of the week, morning, noon or night!

We have eaten here 11 times since we moved, all were very good for breakfast except last Sunday, omg, service was bad, I had to ask for coffee 3 times. catfish came cold for breakfast on uncle Hershel favorite… I ordered sour dough bread instead of biscuits like i always do. Nope, had to remind her of that. My mom always get hot tea. I asked twice for some more water. wasn’t that busy either. I doubt we go back… wasted 25 buks down the tubes…

BESTBREAKFAST I’VEEVERHAD, SERIOUSLY! I have eaten twice here and I am so impressed. BREAKFAST — $ 19 w/tax — Blueberry pancakes with strawberries and real maple syrup — This looked as beautiful as it tasted. Not too sweet and just moist enough to make all the flavors pop without being soggy. Just perfect! 5⁄5 — Hash brown casserole — This had just the right amount of crisp without being too soggy. I thought it was great(and I don’t even like hash browns that much). 5⁄5 — Fried apples — WOW, this took me to a place of bliss. I thought the apples were going to be «fried» but they were more like the inside of an apple pie BUT in a good way. It was NOT overly sweet at all. Cracker Barrel seems to understand to let the natural sugars in the fruit speak for themselves and not saturate it with unnecessary sugar. Loved this & I put some on my toast. 5⁄5 — Toast — I never eat the toast at restaurants because it’s just filler and stale but this was the best toast I have ever eaten! I put lots of butter! 5⁄5 — Apple cider — This is like a mild apple cider served in a chilled mug. Again, another perfect example of how NOT to add lots of sugar to fruity foods. Great! 5⁄5 — Fruit cobbler w/Ice Cream — Warm black berry cobbler with cold vanilla ice cream. This was a little too sweet for my taste but still a fresh, solid dessert. 3⁄5 LUNCH /DINNER ~ $ 13 — Meatloaf, Chicken, Ham Sampler(comes w/4 sides) — Meatloaf had the most flavor. Chicken was appetizing, and the Ham was mediocre. 3⁄5 — Green beans — buttery and delicate 5⁄5 — Pinto beans — way better than canned pinto beans. I was surprised how good it was. 5⁄5 — Okra — Bland, but better than Okra I had elsewhere. 2⁄5 — Green mix?(forgot what it’s called but it looks like cream spinach) — This was fantastic. I couldn’t get enough! I would order a whole bowl of this. 5⁄5 — Apple Cider — above. SERVICE Very friendly, informative and inviting. ATMOSPHERE I love the design of this place. It’s very cozy and makes me feel like I am having dinner in a southern families dining room. They have a neat little gift shop attached that sells old fashion candy and quirky clothing, cosmetics and sodas. OVERALL By far the best in this area, especially for the price.

Underwhelmed … No taste on the food… Not even salt… I was so looking forward to a hot bowl of soup and a burger, but got neither. Best thing was the coleslaw and I’m pretty sure they don’t make that. Should have went to ruby Tuesday across the street

With generous portions and unwavering service Cracker Barrel never disappoints. This is one of the best place to go to for breakfast and you will always leave full. Every item they have is equally good so order anything. If you are waiting for your party to arrive or just looking around after the meal they always have their gift shop area with all the goofy, vintage looking, or other that you don’t need to look at. This location is always clean and the wait staff are super friendly. The atmosphere is cozy!

Super friendly service early in the morning. Waitress was fluent in my «have yet to consume caffeine» language. Hashbrown casserole was delish!

The food was good but the service was not. They seemed rushed and poorly trained. They put a spoon in our pop in order to help them know what drink it was. I saw a waiter ask a lady in a walker to excuse her so she could walk by. I liked the old country atmosphere. I wish they would train their waiters.

We went here on a busy Saturday night and they told us 10 minutes. Right on the money. And we got seated where we requested. Server was extremely friendly and attentive. Tried the new baked chicken breast — awesome. Lightly breaded and incredibly moist. This is southern comfort food. Even though I hate this expression I’ll say it: «It is what it is.» If you don’t like comfort food, find a salad bar somewhere and tell the people in line what unhealthy food they serve at Cracker Barrel. They’ll probably agree with you. But for all the fans of flavor, I’ll proudly wipe real butter from my mouth as I’m finishing my last bite of biscuit — with blackberry preserves, of course.(«Excuse me Miss, can I get more butter and real maple syrup for my buttermilk-pecan pancakes?»)

So, I have been to Cracker Barrels all over several times. This Cracker Barrel is a Cracker Barrel. The service depends on who you get as a server, the food depends on what you order, and the store is awesome if you like these types of items(which I do). The grits are always watery, so I don’t recommend ordering them. The sausage gravy is probably from a can, because it is not good, and the eggs are normally cooked exactly as you request.

Stop pretending Cracker Barrel isn’t good because it’s a chain! Its freakin good and you know it! Have you ever made Egg’s in a basket that turned out like theirs? When was the last time you had a blueberry pancake so good you needed help remembering which plane of existence you lived on. Also, how do they find the sweetest old ladies in the world to work here? My 15 month old baby girl broke the sugar container and nearly killed the North Eastern corner of the restaurant but the waitress was so sweet about it. We had a party of about 18 people who had not seen each other in a long time. Everyone was talking and hugging and not paying attention to the waitress at all. Somehow, she got all our orders correct, and got separate checks to each couple or individual. She single handedly put 97% of DC waitresses to shame. Also, the kitchen messed up a couple of orders from our table and other tables, so she just kept bring out biscuits and gravy, grits, pancakes, and hash brown casserole. Thank you Cracker Barrel. One thing: 7 years ago I had a lemonade at a Cracker Barrel in Lexington Kentucky. It tasted like a citronella candle. This is my only complaint.

Chicken tenderloins are always FREAKINAWESOME and flavorful and good for you! The shrimp skillet with cheese grits was kind of insane. Almost too much for my little taste buds to handle. The flavor was so intense and there was a lot of garlic, but it was very good… very rich! They provided a lot of large yummy shrimp. The ½ lb cheeseburger was very good, but the fries were just ok. My father loved the strawberry spinach salad! Come here if you’re in the mood for some serious comfort food.
