I wanted to write a review because of the 1 star that I saw. I just went to this store today for the first time. Normally I go over to the Bowie store, but living in the city, this is closer for casual purchases. The manager, Bill, was super friendly. He was playing a game with another customer, stopped mid roll to walk over introduce himself and talk about what I needed. I just needed a couple army books(Warriors of Chaos and Chaos Demons). He had both books, grabbed them, and out I went. He took some time to talk about one of his armies he usually plays with and explained they had an escalation league ongoing at that location.

This Games Workshop recently moved down the street from the shopping center it used to be in to another, maybe a quarter mile away. On my most recent visit, at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon, the manager was out front smoking cigs and chatting with some of his gamer pals. As I walked past him to enter the store, he rudely informed me that the store was, «closed for lunch break until 4:30». I replied that I could not wait and he would not be selling me the $ 40 games workshop product that I was there to purchase. His reply was, «sorry». Terrible service seems to be the MO for this guy. He had turned me away at the previous location on more than 1 occasion. This company really needs better customer service. The toys aren’t cheap, and traveling 30 minutes in the car, wasting gas, and time, only to be turned away by a rude manager, more than once, leaves a bad taste in my mouth for the entire GW company.
