I intended to stop here for just a few things and ended up doing my weekly shopping. I was impressed by the bakery department, the choice of cheeses, and the freshness of the produce. The shelves were well stocked even though it was the middle of a Saturday and to make matters better, the place was empty. While this is not the Giant I usually go to, it was clear that they have made some efforts to improve.

Stopped in here to do a small shop (about $ 50 worth) because it was on the way home and I really loathe the local Acme. This Giant is pretty nice — I vacillate between 3 and 4 stars.
Giant — for me — is my go-​to for non organic food and select household goods. I usually like Whole Paycheck (aka Whole Foods) and Trader Joes — but for low cost staples — I gotta trust Giant.
