I ordered chicken chow mein, I didn’t know their chow mein had no noodles? They sent me a soup basically. Also a small detail, I ordered a 24 oz Pepsi and I was given a 20 oz coke.

had one of their veggie chicken products. It tastes good but it’s not made out of tofu. The salesperson indicated that the veggie meat was made with tofu but in actuality it is textured vegetable protein. I had them give me the package so I could read the ingredients which also included 25 other ingredients. I have bad reactions to textured vegetable protein so you need to make sure that you’re okay with that product if you eat their veggie products because its not tofu like they tell you. I made such a point maybe she won’t mislead anyone else.

From the people taking your order to the delivery guy — all were very friendly. And the delivery time was reasonable. The food is good with favor, especially for a carry out.

They leave their raw meat out in the back of the store. How disgusting!!! I used to love eating here, but never again!!!

This is a garden-variety Chinese food restaurant in a strip mall in Springfield. Mostly focused on takeout, not very much in the way of inside dining. The food was a little salty for my taste. I tried the Kung Pao chicken. I could not get through the dish on account of the high sodium content.

I haven’t gotten sick from here or anything, so a star for that, but i’ve ordered twice and have been so far unimpressed. Mongolian beef, or should i say– mongolian onions with a piece of ‘beef’ was pretty lame, Mushu pork wasn’t bad but no pancakes, pu pu platter was jsut greasy rangoon looking things and really tough jerky beef. shrimp and asparagus– the shrimp was clean! so a star for that. free small genral tso chicken when you spend 40, which is easily reached. I will consult Unilocal for a better choice in my neighborhood!

Ordered a small fried rice an order of dumplings and 2 spring rolls. It took an hour and 20 minutes to get our order. After calling and being told«I’m on the way» it took another 30 minutes. When the food arrived it was lukewarm at best. The dumplings were average, the spring rolls had absolutely no flavor and the fried rice was not good. Tasted like either the oil was old or the grill was dirty. We threw most of it away uneaten.

This place absolutely SUCKS! After not receiving my order for over an hour I called only to find out that they forgot to make my food! — the lady said she was sorry and would make it now and it would be to me in 15 – 20 min — — it arrived 45 minutes later cold, and I asked for extra soy sauce and mustard and they didn’t give me ANY!!! I WILLNEVERORDERFROMTHISPLACE AGAIN — EVER

Had to downgrade my review since experiencing a less-than stellar meal here. This time, trying something new led me to believe this place is not worth the three stars I gave it before. My chicken and cashews entrée was lacking taste and cashews. I couldn’t give the corn and chicken soup any better review since it looked like someone just gave up in the middle of making it. I think this is the last time they will be seeing me. I wanted to like this place. Too bad…

Not too crazy about this place. I liked it at first, but all of the meals have too many spices in it. This isn’t real Chinese food. Also, the staff is unprofessional. I think it may be family operated. There is a girl that works there(I think that it is the daughter) who I’ve had a bad experience with. When I approached the counter one day to ask for a box, she was sleeping and she screamed when I said excuse me. I would be able to hear her talk about me in the back, and always laugh/stare at me when I came in to order food. After a while, she wouldn’t even look at me. It made me very awkward and ultimately I stopped coming here. She was also always on her phone and running around the place. The boy that works there(I think that it is the son) is very professional though. I think he takes his job more seriously and doesn’t see it as a playground. I now go to another Chinese restaurant and its great!

This is the place to go for all your Chinese grocery needs, both fresh, frozen, and canned. There’s a cafeteria area, bakery, and roast meats area.

It’s weird but even the worst Asian restaurants in this area are rated 3 stars or more for whatever reason! I guess people don’t know their taste buds? I’m picky about everything including food and the food here is overly greasy, MSG filled, unclean shrimp(you know what i’m talking about), and the soups I’ve ordered have no taste but just a very weird taste. The chicken I don’t know if i’m eating real chicken?

Like I say this is not a real Chinese food restaurant. I order the shrimp egg foo young and hot and sour soup. Egg foo young has little flavor also the high and sour soup. I was lucky I had some good Kikkoman Soy Sauce like the one they give you is do do. Also I order for three other of my friend. So it came up to for the free order general tao chicken for free over the spending of $ 40.00 or more. I also order the shrimp and walnuts before and it just barely passed It’s the last time I order from here. Remember it’s like the china town in Washington, DC. They made it more American. :(

Good food, friendly service! My diet consists mainly of veggies and seafood and I like the way they make Shrimp with Vegetables. The shrimp are big and plenty for the price :) Update: This place is not as good it used to be. Fried rice has become very dry and entrees are now made too salty. What happened?

I wish I had read the reviews before I came here. It has been over 15 mins since I ordered food to go and I’m still waiting. The people behind the counter actually sat down in front of me and started having their dinner instead of making sure someone was working on my order. When I got up and went to the counter and said excuse me, I got such an evil look. And then finally someone said they forgot my order but refuse to give my money back. Typical Asian joint service. Never again!

Alright used Grub Hub for a order took over a hour and a half to get my food. I understand companies are busy, but I preordered the meal. But on the flip side your food was great very feeling for someone who likes a lot in there meals. Thanks for the concern too with my order I appreciated that.

We come here pretty often and never had a problem with the food. I almost always get the General Tso’s chicken, it’s really tasty. Every time I get food here it is fresh and hot, and doesn’t seem like it’s been sitting out forever. I always pick up, and so I can’t speak to how their delivery is.

The only reason I am giving this place two stars is because the younger gentleman behind the counter was very nice and pleasant. Good customer service. The food however was mediocre at best.(I am being generous.) Food: Moo Goo Gai Pan– Thin filmy chunks of chicken. The dish was overrun by mushrooms and there were three sad little snow peas. Szechuan Shrimp– 5 pieces of shrimp with an abundance of celery and onion. The sauce was a little slimy. Shrimp Lo Mein– The noodles were mushy.(I had waited about 5 minutes for my food to be ready and took it straight home which took another 10 minutes. The noodles should not have gotten so mushy in such an amount of time.) Ma Po Tofu– Not spicy at all. Everything seemed to be oversauced with too much sugar. I would not recommend this place. I am not even asking for authentic Chinese food. I’m just asking for decent americanized chinese food.

Not sure how Great Wall managed to wrangle 4 stars on Unilocal.but it was certainly very deceiving for those of us ordering from grubhub. The food is cheap — that is for sure, but that’s also because the food is of extremely low quality. There is no way our meal could have passed as authentic Chinese cuisine. I’m sure there are many, many, much better Chinese options in the Virginia area. Stay away!
