Great service and food whenever I’ve stopped by for a meal. Also it’s encouraging to see businesses like them that give back to the community. I came out for their annual Polar Vortex Challenge, where they gave you a free meal(whatever you want from their menu) if you ate outside in sub-freezing temperatures. And afterwards they donated what everyone would have paid for their meals to the Springfield Rescue Mission. Glad to support this local group of restaurants.

This is the second Hot Table I’ve visited and this one was just as awesome as the first one. Me and a friend split a large steak and cheese panini and it was awesome, my mom had a small panini, soup and Mac and cheese they all liked everything. The place is spotless and it was quite enough to sit and chill and chew the fat for awhile. Every single ingredient up at the counter was extremely fresh looking and made my mouth water, I wanted them all.

Stumbled on this place after the«food court review». Fast, fresh, friendly and generous. Def not food court fare.

I stopped in on a Saturday for lunch and was not disappointed. I have been wanting to try more healthy options and chose the sun dried tomato panini and cream of broccoli soup. Panini was unlike any i have tried or seen before. It resembled more of an oversize bagel. However i have to say that it was the best panini i have had by far. Panini had mushrooms, red onions and more. Soup was average and i also had dark roast coffee that was probably one of the better dark roast i have had, mellow and smooth tasting. I will return for veggie panini, dark roast coffee, and try some other soup choices. Service was good and also friendly.

As a local, I can’t believe what I’ve been missing. Great paninis with lots of vegetarian options. The sizing is kinda weird but other than that this place is good. I had the sundried tomato veggie panini(medium) and finished half and took the rest with me. The bread tasted fresh and all the toppings were a great mix. The staff was very friendly. Springfield is pretty awful but I’m glad I found this place.

I’ve eaten here a half dozen times or so since I work nearby. The large panini is absolutely MASSIVE and easily suffices for lunch and a mid-afternoon snack or even dinner. I usually get steak and cheese or chicken and both options have been delicious every time. Fountain soda is refillable, and the sitting area is bright and sunny with several different options(table/bar top).

Hot Table used to be my favorite lunch spot until my recent trips there. I go to the location on Main Street in Springfield. I received two separate 25 dollar gift cards with receipts attached from Christmas. I was not able to use these gift cards. The staff could not ring my order, stating the first card had zero balance. I showed the staff my receipts and they said they would«call the owner.» I gave the employee my name and phone number but no response, go figure. I handed the staff my second 25 dollar gift card and they told me I had zero balance. It was pretty frustrating. Yesterday I went back to Hot Table to try to see if my gift cards were working. The staff tried to ring up my coffee with my first gift card. She stated there was no balance and threw my card away. I told her I wanted to keep the card but she did not listen. She was clearly lacking customer service skills. She rang up the order using my second gift card and stated I only had 6 dollars left. She handed me the second card and said bye when I insisted on speaking with a manager. She stated there was no manager working. So essentially I paid 19 dollars for a cup of coffee, along with the other 25 dollar gift card that I am not able to use because it was taken from me by an employee. This is the second time I asked to speak with a manager but there was not one on site or one who was willing to return my phone call which is very unprofessional. As much of a headache this has been I realize that there are two sides to each story and that there has to be an explanation for this discrepancy. I would hope the management of Hot Table would be able to resolve this in a timely manner because now it’s turning into an inconvenience. I would much rather continue going to Hot Table as I have always done but if these gift cards are not replaced with the correct amount, I feel that this is one less customer you will have.

Excited to chomp down this sandwich. Made to order with fresh vegetables like at subway, and for $ 10, this panini is MASSIVE. The lobster bisque is good. *Update* The sandwiches are decent. About the same as eating a subway sandwich, only with somewhat better ingredients. I only ate half of the sandwich and I’m really full. I give four stars because it’s a decent sandwich and a lot of food for $ 10.

Nice décor. My California breakfast panini was well prepared. The coffee(dark roast) was slightly above average. I would have given this place 4 stars, but the service was a little slow considering there was only 2 people ahead of me. It served the purpose.

Very good Panini sandwiches(I particularly like the steak and blue cheese), and salads. Very popular at lunch. Service similar to Subway(move down the line telling them what you want, pay for it and go to an open table), but friendlier staff. However, expensive($ 13 for sandwich & salad — no drink).

Stopped in on a Monday morning for a quick bite before driving out to zip line. Ordered the steel-cut Oatmeal with strawberry and cinnamon crunch and a California Panini. My lady friend ordered a Fireball Panini. The oatmeal was good — not seeming to be sweetened on it’s own, so the cinnamon and strawberries helped. California Panini was solid, good morning sandwich. Tasty Fireball was also good — a buffalo sauce that had a little kick but wasn’t too tangy. Good stuff!

I was in the mood for a panini, like the shop advertises, and received a fluffy cold sandwich. I ate because I was starving, not because I was impressed. Menu is limited, staff seems disoriented, screwed up my order, and I waited an unreasonable amount of time for an underwhelming meal that was not what I expected.

Good food, friendly service, and free wi-fi! Great place to grab a quick lunch. Note: It gets really busy during the weekdays between 12 noon and 1pm. Getting there at 11:45 will help you avoid the rush and long line.

I basically make out with my turkey honey-dijon sandwich everytime I have it. I’ll gladly pay ten bucks for a makeout sesh with a delicious panini.

I’ve eaten at this location and at their store on Breckwood Blvd. and have had nothing but tasty, fresh, and completely customizable lunches here. You want this but not that? No problem, substitute away, just ask and point and watch your yummy creation be concocted, ingredient by ingredient. Everything here is fresh, fresh, fresh. It’s NOT processed canned crap. There’s a large selection of greens, veggies, marinated veggies, and(omg) delectable caramelized onions, to die for on your turkey or RB panini or wrap. Lots of combo options for salad/soup/sandwiches. Great coffee(on the bolder side, but in a good way). If their stores were closer to work, I’d go once a week for lunch. If they were open for dinner, I would eat dinner there.

I agree with a reviewer below me that this is not really a sandwich shop, more like a panini bar. Choices are limited(small or large panini or salad, with or without soup) but there is alot of variety to be had. I ordered the Chicken Pesto small panini, which was plenty for an individual lunch. Prices are a little steep but the panini is well made, to your liking(akin to Subway). The flavors were delicious and well thought-out, blended well, and made for an all around great quickie lunch.

OK, the sandwich is good, but the desserts? Please try them, the 7layer bar, the mudslide and the peanut butter cookies are to die for! I cross the street when I walk by just so I don’t stop in too often take them home. If you are near, stop and get one! Also, we order for the office from here and they mangage to get our order right(most places close by don’t!) Wish they were open(nights and weekend) with more hours.

Its almost hard to review Hot Table. It’s unfair to call them a sandwich shop, though that’s really what they are. You might call them a Panini Boutique. The setup is akin to Subway where you follow your sandwich down the line as its made. The ingredients are nothing like Subway, freshly prepared from well thought out recipes. If you’re looking for a breakfast sandwich the Vermonter is just the best. On a side note I go out of my way for their coffee.

I recently began working in the downtown area of Springfield, Massachusetts and have experienced a lot of difficulty finding places to eat lunch. Last week I decided to stop in at the Hot Table conveniently located in Baystate West… I mean Tower Square… right on the corner of Main Street in the space formerly occupied by Gus & Paul’s and before that Friendly’s. I found they offer an eclectic selection of truly hearty pannini-style deli sandwiches with an array of flavorful filling options ranging from traditional to original. I played it safe and bought a large pannini stuffed with fresh, tasty shaved turkey meat, roasted red peppers, pickles and red onions, on a thick slab of bread slathered in honey-dijon. Accompanied with a sack of kettle chips it made for a tasty and stomach-stuffing lunch which I wolfed down in record time once tucked safely back in my cubicle. Of course, if you have the time, you might want to eat in the restaurant itself, which is sleek and stylish but still warm and welcoming(there’s a fireplace!) while also being uncommonly clean. If I have one gripe it’s that the place seems woefully understaffed(there only seem to be two people on duty at any given time with one making sandwiches and the other operating the register) which can mean that food preparation and checkout is accomplished at a snails pace. This can make copping lunch while on a short lunch-break at work a little tough, which I found out this past Saturday when I walked in on my half-hour to find a looooooong line and only one person making sandwiches.
