If you arrive around 10a/10:30a, you can easily find parking just across the street for $ 5-​$ 7! They only take cash and they’re usually pretty friendly!
The fairgrounds are pretty nice, although not as big as the one in Indianapolis. Illinois is probably only a third of the size. However, they have several bathrooms that are actually in buildings, so you probably won’t have to use a port-​o-​potty. And the first building right by the entrance even has air conditioning! They have a stadium type building where they do shows or contests involving animals. They also have quite a few rides!
During the fair they sell just about every food you could ever want or expect from a fair — corn dogs, BBQ, hamburgers, nachos, ice cream, funnel cake, deep fried Snickers, deep fried Oreos, deep fried everything!
