This place was great! Went there to get a burger and fries and was not disappointment. Small menu, but that’s alright. They don’t feel the need to over complicate the menu with a hundred different burger options. I don’t eat meat anymore since going but this was honestly a good last meal!

Tasty burger and fries. If they spruced up and expanded the picnic area it would definitely be a nice outdoor burger joint.

Stopped in on an off night. He had a Southwest with fries and a Mojito Milkshake and I had a Southwest with Onion Rings and a Grasshopper Cookie Milkshake. The flavors are really good. The bun was nice and soft, almost like a Hawaiian roll. The burger was perfectly cooked, albeit greasy. The flavor sauce was on point. Their fries and onion rings were good. Nice thin cut fry with the potato skin left on. The rings had a good thick batter that crisped up nice in the fryer. Will be back and would recommend to friends.

My first time at jakes way back burgers. I had a milk shake(strawberry). Tasted very artificial no strawberries would not recommend a shake. Now the burger… loved it! The bun was toasted, yummy! The burger was so juicy each bite was like an m&m melts in your mouth not in your hand. I will be going back.

Went today for a Father’s Day burger lunch and was not disappointed at all. I ordered the single patty cheese burg /onion rings/French fries and chocolate milkshake. everything is great and I would definitely come back. Price is very reasonable and it gives Five Guys(a burger chain) a run for its money.

I’ve eaten here several times in the last couple of months and each time I’ve tried a different burger, especially their specialty burgers. Soooooo good. I have never left unsatisfied. Their irish nachos are friggin great too. I love this place. You get a lot for your money too!

I love Jake’s Wayback so much, I’ve started #WaybackWednesday, where in I celebrate surviving to mid-week’s Hump Day by basking in Jake’s delectable onion rings and burgers. First, their burgers. I personally love their Wayback Classic(two beef patties with cheese). As a combo, it comes to somewhere around $ 9. The burgers are seasoned and cooked to perfection: juicy and brimming with flavor. And they have an awesome list of free burger toppings(Gold Sauce, jalapeños, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce pickles, etc). Their Gold Sauce, btw, is a house blend of BBQ and mustard. They do upcharge for toppings like bacon, but with the list above, who needs bacon? Just kidding, I love bacon. Their onion rings are the main reason I’ve become a faithful of the Wayback masses. They definitely taste beer battered, are always perfectly fried fresh when you order them. Oh! And the onion doesn’t get strung out of the breading when you bite. Win! Paired with tastes like a house-made ranch dressing, the onion rings are my #WaybackWednesday go-to. I know they have tons of other menu items, including chicken tenders, turkey burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, and so on. The only thing I haven’t really cared for are the milkshakes. I tried a «Milkshake of the Month», which at the time was Cookie Butter. It was too melty and sweet. Perhaps their regular milkshakes are better? In addition to the«Milkshake of the Month», they also have a «Burger of the Month», which tends to follow the usual themes/holidays. Example: corned beef burger in March, thanksgiving burger in November. I haven’t tried any, but it’s inevitable in the future. The crowning glory of Wayback, however, is it’s staff. They’re always polite, super friendly, and seem to really enjoy what they do. The fact that they give 10% off with Unilocal check in is just bonus. I know others may have Waybacks in their area that don’t meet their expectations. I’d encourage you to check this place out; see what it feels like to get fast, friendly service and a delicious, «mmmmm”-inducing meal at a burger joint.

Extremely overpriced !! I was appalled at the food I brought home after placing a to-go order. The burgers were sloppy, unappealing messes. I couldn’t believe what I had paid for. Milkshakes were a disappoint as well. I got a coffee milkshake and a strawberry banana milkshake and yet we couldn’t tell by taste which was which. Horrible, will never eat there ever again. Five Guys all the way.

Stopped by while visiting family. Lots of menu options, great service and they were quick to bring the food out– important considering we had 2 kids under the age of 4 with us. Loved the burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes. I don’t eat red med, so I usually order turkey burgers– it was well seasoned, juicy and came on a well toasted bun. My spouse enjoyed his burger a well. Staff was courteous and kept checking in on us. We had the opportunity to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. I will definitely go back the next time we visit family!

Sorry Five Guys! You had a good run. This place is great! Fresh homemade burgers like we used to make at home back in the day. All the same hot and cold toppings that you can get from five guys. French fries are fresh and great they even have malt vinegar! Homemade old fashioned milkshakes. This place has dethroned 5 guys as my burger of choice. You can’t go wrong, give it a try!

Excellent burgers and selection! I come very often and find the costumer service to be very friendly as well. They put out quality burgers that always have me coming back. I would highly recommend it as well as the triple triple burger!

Stopped by here for dinner a few days ago and while it was ok overall I don’t think we’ll rush back. I ordered the turkey burger and it was perhaps the most bland turkey burger I’ve ever had. There was zero seasoning whatsoever … I had to douse it in pepper and ketchup just to get a little flavor. My husband had the southwest burger and said it was just ok. My son enjoyed his chicken tenders. We also got a side of Irish Nachos and we liked these the most. The potato chips were delicious and purportedly made in-house. We also thought the french fries were very good. So there was good and bad here… a-ok but not rushing to return.

Two thumbs WAY up for WAYback! I can’t believe I’d never been here! If you want a great burger at an affordable price then look no further! Burgers are juicy, onion rings have a great breading/onion ratio, service is awesome, fries are hot and crispy, milkshakes are perfection — thick, creamy, well mixed and delicious! The Wayback sauce is pretty good but honestly the food itself is so tasty that sauce is sort of optional. I’m not crazy about the way the hot dogs are split completely in half but I can’t argue with how good they taste. The staff are really friendly and the owner has been on site twice while we were there(yes, we liked it so much we went back again the same week), they really care about your experience. New favorite burger stop!

Simple… Simply delicious. Friendly and welcoming staff. Easy to read menu boards, but you may want to research what you may want before you arrive: Also, Unilocal has some great photos submitted by actual visitors. The food is HOT, fresh and delicious. The Cheesy Burger = Buttery, cheesy-oozy(the way I love it!) and meaty. The restaurant was modest in size, not ideal for big groups but families should be ok. Booth seating(no moveable chairs) I can’t wait to try their monthly burger and shake specials. If I am within 20 miles of one, I would definitely try to stop. If you like a burger that is similar but a little better/cheaper than 5-Guys, you should try it! They have plenty of napkins! :)

the location isn’t new but they maintain it well. they have some seating inside and i think they were renovating the other side of the place for more seating when i was there. we got the Jake with cheese($ 5.39), Kid Jr with cheese($ 4.49), double bacon burger($ 7.29), and a regular drink($ 1.99). the burgers were good and the buns were super soft. the only thing i didn’t like was that the patties were too greasy. they were bleeding grease. i know that gives the burger more taste but i personally don’t like overly greasy burgers, but the taste wasn’t bad. one of the biggest upsides are the fat and crispy fries. no one likes soggy fries. the service was friendly and quick. i would recommend it if you don’t mind greasy foods but it’s for me personally.

I went to Wayback Burger for a quick bit after a long day of travelling. I ordered the turkey burger and a s’mores milk shake. It was a great turkey burger(although a little light on the amount of meat) and the milk shake was one of the best I’ve ever had. Awesome! This is just a little fast food burger joint so don’t expect much but really good food!

Jake’s Wayback Burgers — Old time classic carhop style burger and shake joint. Well worth a stop if you are in the area, but not quite worth it as a destination. The food is good. I had a Jake Cheese Burger, an order of onion rings, and a vanilla shake. All delicious. Where they came up short in my mind: Cheese choices consist of yellow or white.(both the girl who took my order and I got a chuckle out of that). Only mustard is yellow. Ordered grilled onions, never made it to my burger. Bottom of my bun had pieces of chopped onion matted to it. I can understand how thing like this happen but hate when they do. Gets me wondering what’s going on in the kitchen.
