Wife brought home a Reuben for lunch and it really surpassed my expectations. First off the sandwich is filled with a half pound of meat. I chose the pastrami and wasn’t disappointed. When I opened the take out box, I got a blast of rye fro the grilled bread. I like a stronger rye on this type of sandwich to cut through the other heavier items. The kraut had the right tang and the amount fit with the amount of meat and bread. I did add extra thousand island dressing but that is a personal preference. Also by the time my sandwich got home my bagged pickle was warm. I might suggest a different to go system for the pickle. I am looking forward to eating inside as I hear their salad bar is also as great as their sandwiches are.

I’ve been here a few times and I’m not impressed. The food is extremely overpriced and mediocre. Nothing really special, besides maybe the salad bar and free ice cream. The last time I was here I had a vegetarian sandwich(forgot what it was called) with provolone cheese, pesto, and tomatoes and it was $ 8!!! No drink included in that price either. Totally overpriced and not worth that much. When I left I felt ripped off. I at least would have expected more veggies in the sandwich or even a drink for that price.

Although the croutons aren’t as good as when they initially opened, they are the most reliably good salad bar in town in my opinion.

Great place to enjoy a fresh(mostly organic?) salad bar! If you’re hungry for a great sandwich, they have a wide variety of those too! Did I mention that you can also top of your healthy fare with free ice cream?

I am a fan of Jason’s Deli. I cannot lie. This is the 4th location I have had the great pleasure to dine in, and as my memory recalls. The tummy is always happy when I leave. After a few minutes of debate over the menu items, this trip, I ordered the salad bar with an Uncle Joe and my pardner gets the New Yorker… a full three fourths of a POUND of corned beef and pastrami mixed with swiss and all stacked on toasted Rye slices. This menu is chock FULL of options from meatfull to meat less, fruit to veggies and the FULL salad bar with items most often sought after in a salad bar with a few added bonus items, the crackers, nuts and granola! There were 7 different salad dressings to choose from. Ranch, Italian, Thousand Island, Bleu Cheese, Honey Mustard, Ranch lite, and bottles of oil and red vinegar. Greens were, spinich, spring mix and romaine lettuce. Others accompanying the bar were grape tomatos, sliced cucumber, red & yellow sliced peppers, broccoli, red onions, 4 fruits with ambrosia, cottage cheese and many more items. There is special area on the menu for kids too! Sandwiches are well constructed and full of distinguishing flavor, good sized portions of protein and breads that are nicely flavored and toasted. Jason’s Deli is a clean, spacious, restaurant with a deli type set up. Tables & chairs adorn the seating area with a few booths as well. Tables are serviced by staff when done, but soft drinks are on your own from the typical dispensers also with water as a choice. Jason’s Deli is one of the few food joints that I seek when traveling. I only have satisfied memories after each visit which gets me excited looking forward to my next visit. According to their website their locations are spread out mainly in the area south of DC on the east coast, across the south from florida to california with a large amount in texas and florida, up the center of the US in the larger cities and not yet to Hawaii. I eagerly await their arrival in Hawaii! I must add too that, the staff were very vocal about the FREE ice milk available(chocolate, vanilla and swirl) awaiting our exploitation when ready. That was a nice addition to the already wonderful experience this day allowed.

We have eaten at Jason’s Deli in different locations and the one here in Springfield has always been a nice, clean location. We normally get the salad bar and has been well kept and clean with fresh items available. This visit was no different. Last night we went for dinner and again had the salad bar. I decided to get a side of the JD Nuggets for a little protein. Normally I don’t have any issues with menu items from Jason’s, but in this case the nuggets were not my cup of tea. They are made from chicken breast, not ground up chicken. However, they coat in a cornmeal that is very bland and leaves a grainy taste in your mouth. They were cooked perfectly though. To top it off, they charge $ 3.99 for 4 of those little guys. Bad value and poor taste. We love Jason’s but I do not recommend the JD nuggets. Manager did contact me and I assured him everything else was great. It says a lot about a business that immediately reaches out when someone has an issue. Kudos to Jason’s!

When it comes to a place for lunch that checks all the boxes look no further. A wide variety of options that cater to food allergies and just good selection all around. I’m a fan of their half order of Chicken Alfredo. Its a nice get you through the afternoon dish. Not the best in the world but great for quick lunch food. Also like there baked potatoes. We were shocked at how large they were. You really can’t go away hungry. Pretty much a standard in the lunch rotation.

I have had their salad bar — that rocks. I have had their zucchini grillini gluten free sandwich toasted. Great place and very reasonable. They have free ice cream in the back.

From my first visit I was surprised at this place. A prime example of supreme customer service and food. Over all Jason’s Deli is just a class act. I am and always will be a returning customer to jason’s deli!

This was my first visit and was pleasant surprised. From the red and yellow deli logo I was expecting a Subway type restaurant but NONOTATALL. Think more classy Panera or McAlister’s. Prices are comparable. Jason’s quality is impeccable. Atmosphere is clean and relaxing. We ate long after normal lunch hour and the salad bar was all full and fresh. My tortilla soup was the best I’ve had in Springfield with great flavor. And to top it off ice cream bar is free with any purchase. They also do catering. I will return and was happily surprised.

A once a week regular, great food and I feel healthier eating there on a regular basis. Manager’d combo is the way to go, now you have to choose soup or salad bar.

This is a great place for lunch! Get the half sandwich and salad bar — there are lots of toppings & some excellent little baked goods to go with it! The mini gingerbread muffins are awesome. Plus, free ice cream!

Went to Jason’s Deli two days ago for the first time. The experience left a lot to be desired. For a soup, salad, and sandwich place the service is really slow. The prices are very high for the small portions they provide. For $ 9 I would at least expect a drink to come with my tiny sandwich and handful of chips. The quality of the food was decent. That is the reason it gets a 2 star rating. I won’t be coming back here again.

Have been here a couple times within a few weeks Of opening and was good other than out of stuff. However today was another story. We ordered soup and salad bar. My wife’s first salad bowl was dirty and asked for second. My spoon and first, then replacement salad bowl was dirty. This made me hesitant but it went over the top when a female employee was filling the cheese on the salad bar. It dropped on the tray holder of the salad bar and I watched to see if it was thrown away, but she picked it up and ate it. Ew. Didn’t wash her hands and then got other customers there salad bowls and delivered food. Manager was there overheard me ask for my third attempt at a clean salad bowl and no apology. This will be my final visit to Jason’s deli and I hope the health department shuts them down soon aka Mr. Yens.

As you enter for lunch they greet you at the door with menus and the customer service doesn’t stop. The food is similar to the quality of panera but seems to be more flavorful. They also have a large salad bar similar to Ruby Tuesdays. One of the best things was that at the end of the meal, every patron can enjoy free ice cream cones. They are unique enough and offer top quality and customer service to be competitive.
