JennyWren Café was my favorite sandwich shop and one of the best restaurants in town. Unfortunately Jen closed up shop around Christmas. «Lady who appeared to be the owner» was not the owner. Eventually she warmed up to me, and Jen(the owner) was always cheerful and inviting. I will really miss this place.

My wife and I had an appointment here in Springfield and then went on a hike nearby. We were looking for some really good sandwiches and found Jenny Wrens. It’s great. I got the Crown Point turkey sandwich(grilled) and it was delicious. My wife got the veggie sandy called Hartness(also grilled) and she was delighted. These are unique sandwiches made with love and they don’t disappoint. Portions are generous, the ingredients wholesome, and the service friendly. Highly recommended.

Can’t say enough this is the best place for breakfast and brunch or lunch! Literally anything you pick from their menu is delicious and their coffee is outstanding! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is full of happy county vibes! Do yourself a big favor and check this wonderful place out, you’ll feel right at home like you’re in mom’s kitchen :)

One of the best and coolest places to grab a bite to eat in Springfield. They serve really different and delicious sandwiches; my favorites are the Crown Point and JennyWren paninis. Also, they serve Boylan Black Cherry soda, which is my favorite beverage ever. The people working there are friendly and the environment is homey and welcoming. I feel like I’m really supporting local and independent businesses when I go here – and not out of guilt.

A perfect plane to grab a coffee and sandwich to go, but also great for meeting friends, or just having some alone time! Ok… Alone with my phone or computer :/because they have wifi there. The owner, Jen, is genuinely the nicest person you’ll meet. And bonus! She’s super talented when it comes to her yummy creations! Do not pass up the coconut almond scones with chocolate on top– or her chocolate croissants. Tip: have the croissant warmed up… You’ll thank me later :)

Longtime fan here, I stopped by last weekend to pick up half a dozen bagels, which I think are only made on Saturday mornings. Best. Bagels. Ever. (If you’ve ever looked for a real bagel in this state, and been frustrated, I hope you will check out Jenny Wren!) Bagel!!! (I love the sandwiches, the hot chocolate, and the chocolate croissants, too!!)

Fresh baked muffins make this place smell awesome in the mornings and the coffee is the real thing. I’m partial to the mocha latte but they do it all here. They’ve started doing hot cider and soup recently for fall and the corn chowder is excellent and in no way vegetarian(bacon included). Good sandwiches(best panini’d), daily specials and nice staff make this a must-stop-in.
