Love it! Great food, friendly people, awesome atmosphere and overall great place to eat! My favorite is the #1, jalapeño chips and a bottled water!

I love jimmy johns! But I only get one sandwich: #5 Vito 8 inch sub and the kettle cooked BBQ jimmy johns chips! It’s an Italian sub with salami, provolone, capicola, Italian vinaigrette with red peppers.(I get it without onion, lettuce and tomato) great customer service at this location and delivery is fast too! Remember to tip the delivery people!

Jimmy John’s is my favorite sandwich. However, I have not had a decent sandwich from Jimmy John’s where the bread was not rockhard for approximately a year now. they used to deliver sandwiches to my home and would arrive at 10 o’clock at night and the bread was fresh as could be. Now for some reason I can go in there at 11AM and the bread is hard as a f$@&ing rock. Just picked up two sandwiches today at 4 o’clock. The bread was so damn hard you could hear it crunch and crackle when you bent it still inside the sack. I asked for some fresh bread but they made me another sandwich on bread just as hard. I am through with this location. It sucks big-time!!!

I’m a huge fan of Jimmy John’s! Never have I been to a place where I can order a sandwich, and have it ready to go by the time I finish loading my change. Now, this only happens when they are not in the middle of a rush, but it speaks to how fast they can prep your sandwich. I usually get the Vito(which has italian style sandwich), and add mayo and dijon mustard. When I take it home, I also add some Sriracha, which makes this sandwich freaking amazing! The bread is delicious and the toppings are fresh. They make a great sandwich. Their chips selection consist of Jimmy John’s brand chips. I really have only had the Salt and Vinegar chips. They will make you pucker, and are delicious. During the lunch hour parking can be tricky. With the License bureau next door, there are plenty of vehicles looking for a spot. Also, if you plan on staying for your sandwich, they do play music and tend to keep the volume up. Now, I happen to like their music, but I can see how it might interfere with peoples ability to enjoy a quiet meal. This place is an up-tempo business, so they keep the beat strong! Also, I have had them deliver, and utilized their iPhone app. It works great, and they really do have freakishly fast delivery. Top notch! Whenever I need a quick meal, this is my go to shop. Fast and delicious.

I last visited this restaurant in December 2007, and my experience was bad enough that I do not plan to visit this or any other Jimmy John’s franchise again unless I absolutely have to. I was doing my laundry at the Daily Wash across the street, and I needed some supper, so I went in to buy a sandwich. I thought I would get the sandwich and a cup of tap water from the soft drink dispenser, and eat it there while I waited for the laundry to be done. However, I was informed that they did not offer tap water to drink. That’s right – they DIDNOTHAVETAPWATER. I have never before or since been to a restaurant where I could not get a cup of water to drink. Some might charge you ten cents or so for the cup, but you could always get it. But not there. The sandwich wasn’t very good either. To be fair, as soon as I registered a complaint via Jimmy John’s website, the franchise consultant for the Springfield area e-mailed me to let me know he was going to look into the matter. For all I know, tap water may be available at this franchise now. But I have no immediate plans to darken their door to find out. Not when there’s a Subway just a block further away, and a Planet Sub only five minutes’ ride on my scooter. (Another minor annoyance: they have a WiFi network whose name proudly proclaims«Eat Jimmy John’s!” – but it’s locked and not accessible to customers. If they’re going to ADVERTISE with the name of their network, they damn well should let customers use it.)
