An average burger, a slightly above average beer selection with sub par service and mediocre management. We have visited this establishment twice now. Once when they opened and again last night. The first time we went I thought the burger was ok. Not great but ok, I did a byob(build your own burger) cant recall exactly what I got on it, didn’t leave a great impression. Last night I ordered I order ultimate bacon burger. While the bacon jam was very good the wagyu beef was sub par. You can tell the meat was not fresh, it has the taste and consistency of a previous frozen pre made burger. The frys were good, and we also had the frickles(fried pickles) which were the highlight of the meal in my opinion. Now for the service. The first time we went it was the second week of being open, beers took forever so did the food but we gave them slack as they were working out the kinks. Last night was no excuse, we got to the restaurant at 9. We were one of three taken tables in the place with a party of 6. We got a round of drinks they came in a decent time frame. The waitress seamed a bid disinterested from the start. We ordered two appetizers, the frickles and buffalo wings. When the frickles came the wings didn’t. I honestly forgot we even ordered them. The burgers game out and when the waitress asked if we needed anything else one of our party asked about the wings. She didn’t say anything, walked back into the kitchen came back about 5 minutes later and stated she just put the order in. After we were done with our meal out comes the wings. She was totally disinterested and handled it like it was perfectly normal. We asked to speak to a manager(one of our party is a head chef at a local Italian restaurant). He didn’t come out at first, the waitress stated he would take the wings off the bill and stated she sorry. It was kinda brushed off, the whole thing didn’t feel like she cared. It was a little to late for that, had she showed some interest in giving good service it would have been a non issue. The manager finally came out after we begged to speak to him. He must be new, or at least I hope he was for the restaurants sake. He was also less than interested in how our experience was. It was all about timing and how it was handled. If the mistake was acknowledged upfront it would have been a non issue. We left feeling like we caused the problem and that getting the food taken off the bill was asking to much. We didn’t even eat the wings. It was just poorly handled and got progressively worse. I’m a manager myself when we have an issue we face it head on and try to make the customer feel like we care because we do care. I will never return to this restaurant.

The food was alright but the place itself was extremely dirty. Dirty knives, forks, placemats. Looks great from the outside, not so charming inside.

Burgers are great. The cheesy tots are so good, you must try them. They have a great drink menu.

I feel a little bad giving it only 3 stars since the service is really good. But this burger is just average. A make your own bacon and blue burger has wilted lettuce and small portion of blue that isn’t melted and is cold crumbles. The server did bring a side of blue cheese dressing. I had amazing burger of the same kind at Prospect Café in Hartford accompanied by horrible service. Go figure. The two are hard to find hand in hand these days. Wait staff at Luxe is really nice though. Wish their burger was just as good.

Went here last year and it was great. Not as good this year. Disappointing because it had been SO good. We planned to go here when we visited Springfield. They changed their cheddar cheese to white cheese which I hate. Really wrecked the burger. I sent it back to get yellow American. It was decent, but I much prefer yellow cheddar. Cooked well, but very disappointed they changed to white cheese.

My Philly cheesesteak rolls where soaked in oil. Seems like they didn’t let the oil heat enough… burgers were ok but nothing to die for… customer service could be better.

We have gone to Luxe many, many times. If you want to knit pick, sure you can always find something wrong. We have never had a bad meal, never had a bad waitress/waiter. Sure infrequently things are not perfect and there is a longer wait but overall, this place is great. We go before every hockey game and last week the place was crowded with a very rude youth hockey group with parents who were oblivious, throwing spit balls… the whole nine yards. We were accidentally overcharged, within eight hours it was remedied. The manager, Steve called me personally to apologize, he was very nice and made a great gesture in return for the overcharge. We will continue going back for what has always been a good meal. The only comment about the food is the fries could definitely be larger in portion.

Great burgers service and drinks. Philly cheese steak egg tools are a amazing. And the kitchen sink cookie are delicious as well. Also the endless list of burger customizations are overwhelming in a good way.

I’ve had at least a dozen good meals at Luxe; my only complaint ever is that we had one snarky server once that kind of ruined the experience. I have had turkey burgers, the Waygu beef, the regular beef, chicken sandwiches– across the board the food here is good. The regular fries aren’t as good as the sweet potato fries or the cheesy tots in my opinion. Spinach & artichoke dip is delightful. Buffalo wings are excellent. Boozy milkshakes are fantastic as well!

I had dinner here with 3 friends. Courtney was our waitress and she was seriously my favorite waitress ever! She was funny, personable and great with recommendations. I had the strawberry margarita and classic margarita for cocktails. They both packed a good punch, which I really appreciate when paying $ 8−9/drink. Not to mention, both were delicious. For dinner, I had the fatty burger with bacon added(duh) and regular fries. I asked for the burger to be cooked medium, and it was done perfectly. The fries were good, not fantastic. Overall, I had a fun and tasty experience at Luxe Burger and would not hesitate to return.

I used a groupon to go here a few times. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It has a great layout and décor is awesome. However the food is subpar. the burgers taste frozen and the fries were soggy. The appetizer platter we ordered wasn’t great– the wings sucked! The prices were in line with Plan B’s but the quality was terrible. Won’t be going back. Stick with Plan B for gourmet burgers.

Ok, unfortunately after 3 trips over a span of a year the first being when they opened I have to say not much has improved. The drinks are still delicious but I didn’t pay $ 13.99 for a well done burger when I asked for medium and soggy bacon. There is no excuse that my order wasn’t perfect. We were 1 of 3 tables inside on a Saturday afternoon. The other tables were already served so I’m not sure why the kitchen staff was so busy that my burger couldn’t be pulled off the grill while it was still pink. As for the soggy bacon, we tried the fried bacon appetizer. Too much breading and no crunch left. I gave you three chances, we won’t be back. *update* after posting my original review I promptly received a reply from someone who I can only assume is affiliated with the restaurant that simply said, «stfu» Way to stay classy Luxe.

OK. Really nice hip looking sports bar venue so we were excited about the ambience with the high ceilings and pop art murals of burgers on the walls. But for a place specializing in burgers… the burgers were really terrible. Dry, overcooked in stale buns… everything was so disappointing. Wait staff was friendly enough but pretty slow and not at all knowledgeable. Me: «What salad is good?» Him: «I don’t really eat salad, so…(shrug).» And later: Me: «What dessert is good?» Him: «I don’t really eat dessert, so…» Sad to say but I would stick to Plan B or Max Tavern across the way if you want burgers. I think even chain restaurants like Red Robin and Five Guys have way tastier burgers… this was more on par with a TGIF on an off night.

I was hyped up to go here, and long behold a road trip had me go to it. Inside is nicely maintained. Build your burger is nice, and other options on the menu are good for the health crazed. I built a burger with a side of potato salad, my mom built a burger without a bun, sister a salad– yeah we had options. Wait staff was friendly which is always a plus.

It breaks my heart to give Luxe two stars, but I have to be honest. After high expectations and much anticipation, we stopped here on the way home off the highway for takeout. Ordering ahead of time 2 pretzel chicken burgers, mac n’ cheese, and 3 large milkshakes I must say I was disappointed. The milkshakes were for the ride home, and came in small sized cups, but after some research I found that it is served in a much bigger glass if you eat inside, but we still paid the same price. Instead of a juicy chicken breast for the burgers, two breaded chicken fingers came between two buns, no bueno! I ended up taking the bread off and eating the chicken separately, but the sauce was tasty. I saw on some brochures that Luxe participates in local community building and events, which is great, but maybe it’s not for me! The mac n’ cheese was the best item for the price, but after nearly spending $ 55 total, I’ll be going elsewhere next time.

I stopped here after going to a nearby competitor and finding it absolutely packed. I was looking for a place where I could eat(preferably a gluten free burger) at the bar on my way to another location. This place was perfect. The bartender was friendly but not overly so, and I felt perfectly comfortable as a woman dining alone. The atmosphere was more relaxed as it wasn’t as busy as other places. Building my own burger was really fun! My combo turned out very well. The burger was just slightly over cooked(I wanted medium rare) and the gluten free bun wasn’t toasted, which is a bummer since it holds together better when it is. Neither of those things severely impacted the meal. The fries were great and I liked that it was a small portion. I would definitely stop by again and try another burger concoction.

Bought a Groupon for this new restaurant in Springfield. Situated in a building that was formerly the visitor’s center. Atmosphere is nice-crisp and clean. We sat at the bar. Tried a few local draft beers that were delicious. You have the option to build your own burger-a check sheet starting with meat, adding all toppings and such. I like the concept– little room for error. The burgers were very good-cooked as ordered. We both felt that the buns were too soft to accommodate the juicy burgers. I chose the potato salad as my side, my son had the fries. Both were good. This restaurant is competing with Max’s Burgers and Plan B burgers in the same location. Probably a better value to go to Luxe. The other 2 have slightly better burgers. I have no reason not to go back, but I am not rushing.

After my recent visit, I’m willing to give Luxe a two-star upgrade & would go again. There was a political fundraiser in full effect when we arrived for our daughter’s 15th(!) birthday dinner. She chose Luxe over other burger spots because, she informed me, Luxe has good cheese fries. Despite the hoopla from the politicos, our service was friendly & attentive. Drinks, apps, dinner all came out timely but also leaving us time to enjoy ourselves. Fried pickles… really good, like I-almost-ate-them-all good. Crunchy, salty, sour with spicy dipping sauce. Good stuff. Mozzarella triangles must have been good. I had zero! One 17 year old ate them all! Then wondered why she couldn’t finish her burger. Kids had cokes… can’t mess that up. Free refills kept them happy. I had a very nice blueberry mule… well done bartender. Hub had a Boddingtons. Nice selection of beers & drinks. Fries & onion rings are so good. Love the giant Vidalia rings! I like Luxe’s build your own burger concept. And they have good burger choices on the menu. But I maintain something is missing. My burger was good… cooked nicely medium but the bun was a soggy disaster right from when it arrived. Yes I had lettuce & tomato but the bun should not have the consistency of partially digested bread! And just a sprinkle of seasoning in/on the burger would really make it sing. I would come back again. I think Luxe has worked out some of its kinks & is improving. Also the prices are reasonable… for dinner for four with 2 apps &2 alcohol drinks, getting a bill for $ 80 was nice, especially with two take home boxes for the kids.

Not sure why Luxe has such bad reviews. I don’t think it’s the best burger I’ve had but it was pretty good for the price. I love the build your own burger concept and I was surprised that it didn’t rack up the price of the burger too much. Luxe is very reasonable by including some toppings in the base price and giving you a variety to choose from, some with an extra charge. Loved being able to get the burger on a bed of lettuce instead of a bun too. You can also choose to have a side salad, which was substantial, instead of fries for a minimal extra charge. Negative is that the burger was well done when I asked for medium. Same with my husband’s burger. I don’t think their burgers are as flavorful and moist as Plan B either. But better price point than Plan B. Good service and love the modern décor.

Stopped in for a late lunch today and was eager to try this new burger place. We were greeted and seated right away. We asked for a booth which was extremely tight, and should of asked for a table. The décor is modern with huge windows. The parking lot is kind of dumpy and could be repaved. Our waiter was very prompt, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The BBQ Bison burger was outstanding. The chicken chef salad was very good too. Very cool mixed drinks and some great beers to choose from. I don’t understand all the bad bandwagon reviews everyone posted. Most of them are from people with 10 reviews or less. Seems suspicious? Went back a second time and it was very busy. We were given a wait time, and we’re seated within five minutes. Everything was very good again. The fried pickles were very good, but the coleslaw was extremely bland. Loved the cheesy tots, and the Mule drinks. Would still go back again.
