We bought a new mattress, and the customer service was great from start to finish. A very nice associate helped us, and scheduled delivery for us. The delivery was seamless(very well communicated, on time, and professional). They set up our new mattress in our old bed frame, and were great!

HORRIBLESERVICE. DONTWASTEYOURTIMESHOPPINGHERE. I went in to make a return with all of my tags. First of all, the woman clearly didn’t care about her job. Second of all, I brought in a return with all tags. The woman didn’t process it correctly and said that the refund could only be sent to me by mail when in fact all she had to do was to look up the return label number or my card number and it could’ve been credited to my account right away. Then she entered my address incorrectly. I called the manager to help me get the issue resolved, but she said to just call a different store. It’s so frustrating, they don’t care at this store. I’m going to stop shopping here and advise others to do so as well. Also, I contacted another store and the manager really cared and said the return was processed completely incorrect and gave me the number for customer service. She even gave me her cell phone number so I can call her directly if I need anymore help too.

Horrible customer service. I was shopping with my mom for some sandals a few weeks back when she had mentioned she wanted the la vie est belle perfume from Lancôme. We went to the front of the store to look for it and the first thing the employees do is start looking over and whispering about us. My mom dresses for comfort and I’ll admit it doesn’t look the best but she dresses like that by choice, not because she has to and we couldn’t help but feel these employees were judging. No one helped us so we decided to leave. Me and my sister came back a few days later and a nice man helped us out pretty quick but the women who work there, at least from my experience, need to get an attitude adjustment– you work at Macy’s.

It’s a Macy’s in a medium sized town. The offerings are on par with what you would expect for a medium sized town, not the same as Watertower Place or what the ads offer, but hey– it’s here! One of the great things about Macy’s is the after holiday sales. They are incredible! If you save the discount cards that Macy’s sends throughout the year, shop the discount racks– you can find amazing deals. We have found that working with a particular sales representative is especially beneficial. We search for our favorite person during sales. We might find an item featured in advertisements that is not offered in this particular store. Our favorite representative will order this item with all of the holiday sales and discount cards and have it sent to our homes across the country. This is fantastic! It makes visiting relatives and shopping an added bonus. Thanks Macy’s!

HORRIBLE service. I had a cashier allow two different customers to cut ahead of me after I waited several minutes to make a return. Other service centers had no employees or were excessively crowded. The employees I encountered were quite rude as well, even beyond the one who allowed others to cut in line. Aside from the ridiculously poor service, selection was fairly good, but that only gives it one more star.

I expect a few things at Macy’s, and service is one of them. One crotchety woman gave me attitude when I asked about the Platinum member specials. She basically had no clue what I was asking and tried to play it off like I was the fool. I went to another representative and asked the same question and she tried her best to assist me, knowing she didn’t know the answer she called a supervisor to find out. I called my Macy’s back in Palo Alto(California), and they were able to assist me. I mean, platinum members only need to walk in and the representatives have most of the coupons at all the registers – not the case here. The woman I spoke with told me I would need a specific mailed coupon for a couple discounts, but told me to check out gift wrap for an out-of-state, visitor discount of 11%. I walked up to a service center because they do not have a gift wrap at this location(imagine that) and inquired about said discount. The woman said, «I’ve never heard of a 11% discount» before rifling through a couple of papers to see if she had any coupons or mentions of sales. I asked for a manager and the woman requested one for me. The manager walks up and assists me. She knows immediately of the discount I’m referring and walks me to the office to give me the 11% member’s savings pass. SWEET! I then inquire about the«Count Down» sale for Christmas and she said she didn’t know of one. I told her today’s sale is a «One Day» sale, which ends at 3 in Palo Alto, but apparently here it ended at 1. She walked back into the office and found a flier for the«Count Down» sale and said it starts the 23rd, even though the Palo Alto Macy’s said it started the next day – close enough. She actually thanked me for informing her. Go figure. This store is slowly but surely converting into a true Macy’s. It used to be a Famous Barr and still has a few remnants left over, so I’m glad to see they are making progress, albeit slow. For instance, they now carry Ed Hardy here, and Lauren — Ralph Lauren. All-in-all this isn’t a terrible store, but it has a long way to go before it even stars to compare to the Palo Alto store.
