Nice yarn store. Not huge but decent selection and a nice sales rack. Salesperson was helpful and friendly.

I’m not a knitter, but my wife is. Nanncy’s is also just around the corner from our house so we stopped by many times. Yarn, needles, lessons… Michael has about everything you need. Great shop.

If I were a Vegetarian and Mike ran a Butcher shop, I would frequent his business and make purchases. Luckily for me, I am a Knitter and he runs a Local Yarn Store. The variety of yarn is impressive and Mike always has solid knitting and crocheting advice for me when I am in need. Nanncy’s Knitworks is a fine place to purchase yarn, needles, books and buttons and to sit and knit.

I was in Springfield, and thought I’d check out the local knitting shop… I found this one listed, and headed out from my hotel downtown. The address listed on the webpage is apparently an old one, because they have relocated to a new space several miles away. Also, I thought I read somewhere that their hours were 10 – 6 every day, which is why I thought I’d like to go — it’s so rare that a knitting shop is open daily, and the same hours every day! Unfortunately, when I got there at 5:15, the shop was already closed, and they’re not open on Sunday. I don’t live in Springfield, so it’s not like they’ll miss my business, but I wouldn’t be back regardless. What a pain to visit the site and the entire thing have incorrect info.
