Nomad

Nomad is a fun little shop, boasting a selection of clothing, accessories, gifts, local art, and world products. I tend to gravitate to the casual jewelry myself. Some things are priced higher than I’d expect, but then there are many things I pick up that are marked very modestly, much to my delight. Everything they sell is excellent quality! I love Nomad’s comfortable atmosphere and décor — the Slingerland drumkit made my eyes light up, even though it’s not for sale. The owners are super friendly and helpful, and every time I’ve been in, I’ve been greeted with warmth. I was surprised they opened up on Thanksgiving night for a couple hours, offering excellent sales and gifts with a $ 30+ purchase; I hate it when the big retail stores force employees to work on Thanksgiving, but the owners seemed quite happy to have the shop open and be able to mingle with customers.
