Part of a dying breed: the neighborhood hardware store.
They may not have the variety or super deals that Medards and Lowes have, but they are my first choice. Of course, they have hardware. They have tools. They have lawn and garden equipment and supplies. They have equipment rental. Paint too. The service is excellent and the staff knows you. The prices are good and the variety is surprisingly good considering the size.
