Papa John’s Pizza

My 12 year old son and his friend ordered two pizzas being delivered to the rolling valley pool. They paid THIRTY dollars for two medium ONE TOPPING pizzas. The pool special is $ 8 for a LARGE pizza. I’m shocked and flabbergasted that the person on the phone, pretended or ignored the fact that they were clearly kids. The person who took the order should have explained the policy to them. I am so saddened and disappointed with this store front. I hope they do better in the future. But I will never know…

Solid pizza chain franchise. Good service, fast delivery, and the food is consistent.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! BE WARNED NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PAPA JOHNS. I had ordered a pizza at 10:20 (they close at 11) and the online order said it would be here at 11… NEVER CAME! I waited longer thinking they were collecting orders to deliver all at once. WRONG ITS NOW 12:34. I got no phone call from the pizza delivery guy and I called the store and the manager «John» if that’s even his name said «sorry we stop taking orders at 11» he asked for my street name and I told him and he was just silent and hung up the phone! Not to mention we had already paid in advance. But luckily we called the credit card company and reversed the charge. THIS PAPA JOHN DESERVES −10÷5 stars.

I love this Papa John’s! Rarely order from here because I usually get the stuffed crust pizza and they don’t have it at Papa John’s, but today made me a lifetime customer of this place.
I accidentally placed my order online as a carryout instead of a delivery order and when I called them back an hour later wondering where my pizza was, I found out the mistake I made! Without even having to ask, they offered to make a whole new pizza since mine was just sitting on their counter waiting to be picked up. I felt so gracious to be offered a whole new hot pizza when it was my fault for the pizza not being delivered.
Super friendly and upbeat customer service. I will be ordering from this location from now on!
UPDATE: the pizza tastes amazing and they definitely didn’t skimp on the toppings! Also ordered the buffalo wings which weren’t that great, but the customer service is what’s making me give them 5 stars so no complaints here!

This is the worst papa John’s I’ve ever ordered from.
I ordered my pizza from here online and scheduled it for delivery for an hour and a half after the order was placed.
My order came over an hour after it was scheduled and all of the food was very cold. The only reason that they are getting two stars is that after leaving me on hold for 20 minutes they reversed the charge.

They put an unauthorized charge on our credit card. This is what happened. We ordered a pizza and charged it to our credit card. We were told our bill would be $ 16.02 (i.e., $ 17, minus $ 4.25 discount coupon, plus $ 2.50 delivery fee, plus $.77 tax). When the pizza arrived we gave the delivery man $ 3.00 cash for his tip. That was a 19% tip. When our credit card statement came in a couple of weeks later we noticed we were charged $ 20.00 on our credit card for that pizza. We called Papa Johns to complain and were told that their records showed our bill was $ 16.02 plus $ 3.98 for the tip. That $ 3.98 computes to an additional 25% tip. When this 25% is added to the 19% tip we gave the delivery man in cash that results in a 44% tip. We are very surprised we noticed this unauthorized charge, because when our monthly credit card statement comes in we just scan it to check for obvious incorrect charges. For some reason we noticed this rather insignificant unauthorized charge as we were scanning our monthly statement. Most people probably would not have noticed it, or would not have followed-​up on it if they had noticed it. We wonder how many such small dollar unauthorized charges we have not noticed in the past from this or other businesses.

The one-​star review here seems a little, um, harsh. We call this Papa John’s regularly, and we have always been very happy with the food and the service.

Sometimes the great product is overshadowed by not so good execution.
We have ordered from this Papa Johns for 4 years and lately to has gone down hill. On Halloween we ordered a pizza, it took 50min to arrive after a 30−40min quoted time. It was a specialty pizza with no onions, instead it came with extra onions and no chicken. We called and were told we would get a free pizza next order.
Tonight we ordered a pizza and were not given the free pizza, (apparently we have to ask for it.) Needless to say we were quoted 20 – 30 minutes. We called after 50 and were told there was a high call volume and it would come soon. It arrived shortly and was cold. We called and were offered 50% off our next pizza.
At least management is trying to make good, but they need to button down and give some better service. We will be going elsewhere for a while.
