Scc Deli

I recently moved from Herndon to Springfield and I am so happy since I live so close to this deli! My son loves the chicken strips while I inhale the steak and cheese sub with pepper jack cheese.
The owners are so sweet… they’re like long lost family. Mr. and Mrs. Park always greets us by name and even remembers our orders!
As frequent visitors, you also come across other customers. Some of the customers, I’m assuming they are building tenants, are so rude. The owners literally have the patience of the Dalai Lama. I’ve witnessed so many blood-​boiling situations. Once, there was a young man who just threw money at the counter and left with the food. I just want to ask, «WHY?» I don’t know how they put up with it.
Mr. and Mrs. Park are first generation immigrants so there could be minor communication barriers, but if the rare chance that comprehension is totally lost, their daughter will save the day. I can relate coming to a totally foreign country and trying to raise your kids as best as you can. It really breaks my heart to see them experience this so frequently.
TL;DR
The deli, ¹⁰⁄₁₀. Love it.
Be polite. Treat others like human beings.
Remember to say «please“and «thank you,» wherever you go.

Love the SCC Deli! I work in the building and come here everyday for lunch. The bread they use for their sandwiches come from a bakery every morning and is absolutely delicious (My go to is the grilled chicken sandwich). Family owned business and the owners are wonderful. As mentioned in another review they will do custom orders if you request.

food is fairly good, but is a tad pricey for food that is just
ok.
all others are over priced.
snacks/​candy bars, $ 1.29 & up??? what gives?!
i only go there cuz it’s convenient when i want a
snack or quick bite to eat.
