Quiet place, quick seating and order was taken immediately. Seating arrangement is awkward though, asked for a booth and were placed in direct middle of floor with seemingly extra booths they just sort of fashioned around one another in Some random pattern. Personally I prefer a wall area. food arrived fast but was not the right order and she forgot my water as well. Correct order arrived but was undercooked. It ended up not being that bad but Will not be back. Positive tho: only 21.88 for two of us.

I wish I had some great things to say for my first review, but sadly this is not the case. Where the food isn’t bad, it’s not all the great. My hash browns were undercooked and my eggs were overdone. Not a very pleasant combination. I would say the service was sub par as well. We were seated very quickly and our orders were taken but they came out wrong. They also forgot our water. I’m sorry, but that’s pretty difficult to do. Don’t believe I will be trying this place out again.

It was cold and wet outside and our normal breakfast place was overflowing with people. Thought we would try Scramblers one more time. Mistake. It was cold inside and the biscuits and gravy were not very good. Lesson learned.

Used to love coming here, but after visiting today, I can’t remember why. I ordered eggs Benedict but I got coagulated hollandaise sauce on overcooked eggs(yolks were solid and hard, no runny anything). I am generally a passive person and have a hard time with confrontation, but since the waitress never bothered to check with us on our satisfaction with out food(or at all after she plopped the plates on our table– just slapped the check down without a word and kept walking) the poor girl at the counter who asked us how it was had to be told the truth. It was gross. Just gross. She kindly removed my meal from the ticket as it was left uneaten, but unfortunately, I just don’t think I’ll ever come back.

Scramblers is a Sunday morning tradition for us. It is a homey friendly place where you see the same folks every Sunday. The staff is friendly and prompt. The food is consistent American breakfast food. The coffee is good and always fresh. Just a great comfortable breakfast place with nice owners.

Horrible! Ate here with my brother and sister. My plate was BLT with fries. My fries were visibly under cooked. The sandwich was hella dry and bacon burnt. My brothers hash browns weren’t cooked either. My sisters plate came with sausages… undercooked too AND forgot the toast that came along with her meal. Said in the menu they had cappuccinos but when asking the waitress for one told us they don’t make those… long story short they didn’t get a tip. Will not eat here again.

This was our first time here, and like many reviews say, if you want breakfast you get breakfast. A very simple and easy place to get food. The food is good, friendly service and affordable. Nothing blew us away, and my Western Omelette fell apart as I ate it. We got a lot of food for the price which was nice. Overall it was a good experience, and a nice place to grab breakfast every once in a while.

Decent food at a good price. This place is packed after church. Been standing here for 20 minutes waiting for carry out that was supposed to be ready thirty minutes ago

Biscuit and gravy was great. My wife loves the cinnamon raisin bread. Rest of food was ok. Owner was on his cell and decided to stand by our table and talk for 10 mins loudly and than went a sat back down at from counter. How rude…

The place was nice and clean, good services. Scrambled eggs were alright. I had chicken fried steak and surely it is from frozen package. My pancake was alright, but my boyfriend ‘s pancake was chewy. My boyfriend had biscuit and gravy, and gravy needs more seasoning. My other friend had raisin bread and it was good. I think the owner was walking around and say hi to other tables except our.

Stopped in for brunch. I had the French Scramwitch. Eggs cooked how I wanted them. Toast was ok, hash browns were ok, sausage was out of a box, and the french toast was good. Wait staff was nice but always on the rush. For me it was ok but nothing to right home about.

I really really wanted to like scramblers because my husband used to eat there growing up and was really excited to rediscover their food. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. I ordered the 11 dollar«everything but» skillet. My food came out half done. The sausage was barely browned, the eggs and hash browns were incredibly moist. Which made no sense because the veggies it came with were tossed on after cooking. Along with unmelted cheese. I shrugged it off because we were the only ones there and the waitress already seemed kind of put out. I choked most of it down because 11 bucks is a lot to waste. My husbands omelet was pretty okay. It’s about three hours later and I’m incredibly sick and I can’t help but feel it’s my fault for not sending the food back. I won’t be coming back, which bums me out because they seemed really family oriented.

Met a friend for brunch there today. Thought an omelet sounded great. The flavor was good, but there was too much juice from the fillings. Gave the omelet the look that it wasn’t done. Had the biscuit and gravy as the side. Biscuit was well done and needed my knife to break it apart. Coupled with gravy that had little sausage in it and the meal as a whole was meh. My family has eaten there before and it was outstanding. Not sure if today was just an off day or what. If this was my first time eating here, I wouldn’t be back.

I really want to like Scramblers because I like the menu, the price is reasonable, and the restaurant is spacious, but I think my husband and I are about ready to give up on it because we’ve had so many frustrating experiences with our food not coming out as expected. For example, one time my husband ordered one of their skillets and loved it, so we took my brother-in-law there, and he ordered a skillet based on our recommendation. When it came out, the portion was so disappointingly small that we had to explain to him that it had been better when we had ordered it before. Additionally, his skillet didn’t have any cheese when it was supposed to, so he had to send it back, and when it came back the cheese had just been hastily thrown on, not melted at all, so he had to send it back a second time to have the cheese melted. The same thing happened again to me last Saturday: I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and they came out plain, so I sent them back, but the eggs I got back were the same eggs(now cold) with grated cheese just sitting on top, not melted. I was disappointed but felt bad sending my food back a second time, so my husband sent it back for me. The server didn’t do a very good job of hiding the fact that she was irritated with us, which made me feel bad when all I wanted was for my food, which I was paying for, to be made the way I had originally ordered it. On yet another occasion a while back, I received runny eggs when I had requested them hard-boiled, but that time I didn’t send them back because I had also requested a meat substitution and I felt bad asking for one more thing – even when it was because the server or the kitchen had made a mistake. I have been a waitress before, so I try to be a good customer. I try to be ready with my drink order on my server’s first trip to my table and have my food picked out by the second trip, I don’t make requests for things that aren’t on the menu, and I am always willing to pay extra for any special requests I do make. I tip well, and I am forgiving when a server forgets something. I don’t think that insisting that my food be made the way it’s supposed to be is at all unreasonable. The fact that I have had so many experiences with an order coming out sub-standard is something that really needs to be addressed by the management. Cooks shouldn’t be allowed to send out food that doesn’t meet quality standards, and servers shouldn’t be allowed to take it to the table. And if an honest mistake is made, responsibility should be accepted and extra care should be taken then and there to make sure that the mistake is fixed the FIRST time and the customer is satisfied or compensated instead of making the customer feel bad.

I needed breakfast. They had breakfast. Nice and simple transaction. One thing: not the best corned beef hash. Consider making it in-house rather than using the prepackaged stuff. It’s really not that hard to make.

For a place called scramblers, you have to appreciate the fact that they actually do cook their eggs well. This place has a good variety of breakfast items, and they’re obviously doing something right because at least 60% of the people in there seemed to be regulars. For the food, they offer a myriad of sides and are pretty flexible with substitutions. They have fresh, homemade bread for toast but also offer other toast like rye(my go-to breakfast toast if I eat toast). I wanted to make a note about the eggs. I love me a runny egg, so I often order over easy. If you’re a fan of runny but don’t like the white being undercooked, then try and order yours over medium here. This is an establishment that definitely takes over easy to be a true over easy. Other reviewers have commented on the quality of the crispy hashbrowns, so I wanted to chime in. I love hashbrowns, especially when they are crispy on the outside. I, however, am a daddy’s girl when it comes to hashbrowns. My dad makes the best hashbrowns, which are crispy on the outside and slightly tender on the inside. But what really elevates his for me is that the grilled onions are actually mixed in with the hashbrowns instead of here where they were simply sprinkled on top. I’m sure that’s because Scramblers makes a ton of hashbrowns in the morning and not everyone is onion obsessed like me. So, although the Scramblers hashbrowns were definitely better than most of the hashbrowns I’ve had at breakfast joints, they’re still not my favorite. Our server was nice as pie, and the food was decent. I do believe I would willingly throw Scramblers out there as an option when looking for a tasty breakfast in the future.

This place has the best cinnamon rolls I have ever had! We also ordered Shawn’s scramble. It consisted of crispy hashbrowns, topped with onions, crumbled sausage, two eggs, and cheese, along with a side of biscuits and gravy. I liked the fact that the portions are reasonable in size. I hate going places where they give you enough food for 5 people(and we wonder why America is obese). The food was good, the gravy was delicious, the coffee was hot, but the cinnamon roll was the star of the show. I enjoyed it.

I had the absolute WORST experience! The waitress literally yelled at me for not ordering salsa when I ordered my meal, gave me coffee then charged me for it when I didn’t want it or drink it, and then got my order wrong! The amount of food for the price was not worth it, and when I asked to speak to a manager I got yelled at again by the waitress, who insisted that everything was priced on the menu(whether I ordered it or not) and that next time I should be more considerate that she was so busy. If she had take three seconds to stop running(literally, running) and ask if things were okay, all of the problems could have been resolved. I have worked in food service, so I’m not being overcritical or dramatic when I say she yelled at me, because she did. I can’t believe she’s allowed to treat people this way. I will NEVER go back to this establishment.
