Steak ‘n Shake

Extremely horrible service, plus had tea spilled all over my fiancée boots. Too many teenagers work here all they care about is talking to friends or on their phones.

We recently visited this Steak & Shake. Plenty of parking. My girls had their cheeseburger kids meal, my wife had a hamburger fries and a shake and I had a salad. While they were busy we found a place right away. Fast and friendly service and the price for the meals was very reasonable. The girls loved the hats and the toy that came with their meal. We always drop by when we are close. We really like everything about Steak & Shake wish they had a few of these in Omaha. Wonderful shakes. Thanks

I love Steak ‘n Shake and this is the best one around. Friendly staff and cleaner than most of their other stores. Generally always open seating and the waitresses always give me a large side of frisco sauce when I ask for it. Used to live by here so I may be a little biased!

What’s there to say? Everybody who knows Steak ‘n Shake knows what they’re getting when they walk through the door. Good steakburgers and other perennial menu entrees. Great shakes! That’s why we come. Steak ‘n Shake, in any city, is the place to go for consistently good food, friendly service and fair prices.

Stale fries and a sloppy burger. Burger was smothered in grease, used my napkins to soak it up and it tasted fine.

Only place that’s open besides tAco bell and McDonald’s when I get off work and drive thru seems to NEVER get my order right. They either leave something out of my order, or if I say «everything but the pickles» they add pickles on my burger. I don’t understand who’s running this place but obviously they don’t care.

Fries are a complete fraud at this location. You get more fries if you ask for the medium rather than the large or the small.

I have been to steak and shake in almost every state and this is the first time I was immediately greeted by Xaena as I sat at the counter. My average wait time to even get noticed at any other steak and shake counter is nearly 5 min! The beans and food were great!

When we walked in a nasty smell greeted us. We almost walked out but it was late (9:30pm) and I didn’t want to hunt for another place to eat. I think the smell was cleaners as they we’re cleaning the bathrooms. But I’ve smelled a lot of bathroom cleaners and this was extra nasty.
After waiting awhile we were sent to a dirty table. We moved to the next table. It was dirty too. As was the next. The rag being used to clean various tables upon the request of the people being seated at them was really nasty and wasn’t being cleaned or rinsed.
The waitstaff was sweaty and unprofessional. There was one girl there who was doing a great job. There was a lot of loud shop talk between the employees. Very unprofessional.
I ordered the horseradish and bacon burger. The burgers were over cooked. The horseradish was in a small (1 ½″) dab in the middle. There was barely any bacon. If it had been stretched out it would have been less than 4″ long.
The place was dirty and chaotic even though they weren’t extra busy.
I realize Steak and Shakes aren’t fine fining. But this was a pretty sad experience. I’ll go hungry before I eat at this place again.

Awful service, wait time, and décor. Food is good, but sometimes not up to par. If you dare venture inside, it is an unpleasant eating experience. It just looks dirty. Drive-​thru should be closed; it’s faster to go inside, sit down, order, and eat in the time it takes to wait in the drive-​thru. Ordered a shake in the drive-​thru last time, they had not securely put the lid on and it spilt all over my car and myself. End result= I TAKE MY BUSINESS TO FREDDY’S DOWN THE ROAD.

This is the best Steak n Shake in town. Tonight, I went in to get a burger on the way home. I sat at the bar and one of the waiters notied a tiny bit of something on the bar. He immediately wiped the counter off. My server was very fast and got my order together super quick. I also think he gave me the largest drink possible — the only bigger size would be a 5 gallon bucket…
The wait staff is young — but they are all clean, respectful and fast. Tip ‘em good.

Good service and good food. Maybe I was just starving, but the burger, even being a double, felt small. Having said that, I enjoyed my burger. This restaurant doesn’t exist in Washington, so I always stop at one while in Missouri.

OK, I’m all about service, and this place deserves 6 stars. Lauren, our server, was outstanding, quick, and friendly. She was there right as we sat down, had our drinks to us in less than a minute, our food in about 5 minutes, and no drink at the table was ever less than half full, and I drank a lot of coffee.
I’ve always enjoyed their food and the cleanliness of all of the Steak and Shakes I’ve been to and never really had bad service at any of them but today was service perfection.
