The Nines Salon

I hate going to places to get my hair done for this exact reason! So my grandma gave me a $ 50 gift certificate for Christmas it was going to expire soon so what the hell I thought I’d use it. My hair is gone and is is horrible!!, it’s completely un even, by a few inches, I have pictures I dunno if I can post them, I’m new to this. Annnnd my experience their wasn’t even good, the lady had a baby strapped her chest the whole time, even when she began to cry, I don’t mind kids, but come on lady you’re working.

Well shit… I feel bad, but I have to pass down 2 stars to The Nines Salon. The Nines is located behind AM/​PM off beltline. During the holidays my wife went next door to get her nails done. They handed her a $ 50 gift certificate to use at The Nines. Since they advertise beer and shaves, my wife handed me the certificate.
The first time I came here, I was looking forward to sippin’ an IPA while waiting for my hair to be cut. Well, I realized it’s hard to sip an IPA while hair was falling from your face… So I waited till the cut was done to drink it. When I presented the $ 50 certificate, she said, «Thanks! You’re good to go!» The hair cut was only $ 16, I would’ve liked to have known that it was all or nothing. If that was the case, I would’ve brought my son down here and we both would’ve got cuts and made the most out of the $ 50. BUT… it didn’t bother me too bad. I was happy to have a decent hair cut.
Yesterday I swung by again to get cleaned up before our trip to PDX. My hair cut didn’t turn out so good. I find it odd that I run into so many damn problems getting a good hair cut! That’s what I get for not using Sport Clips who has yet to fail me. Anyhow… when I got home and styled my hair, I realized that my «high fade» was only a medium fade, and that my side burns were still there.
Of course I was pissed, so the next day I called Sport Clips. I told them how I was being unfaithful, and that I would never cheat on them again. A girl by the name of Sarah sat me down and fixed my hair cut for free. Yes… a Sport Clips employee fixed my hair cut that I got from The Nines. After a generous tip, I was on my way to start my weekend.
I don’ think I’ll be coming back to The Nines. I would still give them another shot, but I simply can’t take the chance again.

Great professional Stylists! I love the new décor and atmosphere. I received lots of compliments on the haircut too! Fast and friendly service. I will definitely return.
