Great place. They keep only good quality items for sale. Good discount days too. I live the employees… They are very friendly and helpful.

This is the PNW’s versian of the chain thrift store«Savers» and owned by the same exact company. It’s not as nice as a Savers but comes close to it. Large variety, relatively clean for a thrift store. Very large and quite affordable clothing selection.

This isn’t my favorite thrift store in town, but every once in a while, you find that diamond you’re looking for. It’s quite a large store, although some sections look quite sparse or lacking. It’s clean and brightly lit. Some areas are better organized than others. Shoes are organized and labeled by size, while books are thrown in together with absolutely no organization. My husband and I came in a few days ago and found good clothes. He found the work pants he was looking for, and I found a Nike U of O shirt. For two items, it was like $ 15. I know my shirt cost $ 6.99 and I don’t remember the exact price of his pants. The staff is almost non-existent, except a cashier or two. I never actually see anyone in the store walking around, asking shoppers if they need anything or can help in any way. The cashier the other day was pleasant enough, but she didn’t look too thrilled to be there. The shoplifting signs and warnings are a little over the top. I know exactly what is required to make a shoplifting stop, and the signs are so much, I’m almost afraid to put my hands in my pockets, because I wonder if their employees are trained correctly. It’s a little creepy. I’ve never done something like that or even considered it in my 30 years, but those signs make you think they’re coming after you either way. Parking is easy, with a huge lot. The lines desperately need to be painted again, and people don’t pay any particular attention when backing out. But other than that, it’s a big lot and I’ve never had a problem parking. Overall, my husband and I come in here a couple times a year. It’s definitely not my favorite place, but the fact we find those gems that are exactly what we need, is what keeps us from writing it off completely.

Every time I visit Eugene I have to cross the bridge is the springfield and head to Value Village. Very reasonably priced(unlike goodwill). I always find something there that is just way to good to pass up. I found a treasure that cost me $ 2.99 brand new still with original price tag reading $ 49.99. Now that’s a Value.

I LOVE this place. They have a great deal where you take a bag of stuff to donate and they give you 30% off your purchase. pshhh LOVE that. Plus they always have 50% off a tag color. which is kinda fun! oh yah there’s also a punch card system where you save more money. So for you people who complain about the price maybe you should try donating sometime. 30% is kinda nice ;) Don’t get me wrong, the prices are a lil higher on some things but that’s just how goodwill type places are. why would you post a bad review on a local charity place? The staff is great always helpful & always around. Sometimes it takes forever at the checkout .but so?

Nicest thrift store around. I normally come here about once a week to see what I can find. The clothes they have seem to be higher quality than that of goodwill and st vinnies IMO which is why they are probably not as cheap. I would define this as a high class thrift store.

I can not express how much i LOVE this place. I love the hunt. The latest find i have bought there was a Dollhouse jacket for 12 bucks !!! I get books there for my children and myself. And when Halloween comes around they have a HUGE section of new items at a great price !!

As all other value villages/savers, this place is way overpriced on their clothing in which are all DONATED.

I was really excited to visit this thrift store considering the good reviews I had read. Unfortunately, this place is really overpriced in my opinion. Big store, but many of the sections were sparse to say the least. Will not be going back.

Mondays at Value Village are 99-cent days, so I can pick up baby clothes, wool sweaters for felting projects, or new blue jeans(anything with that day’s special tag color) for really cheap. They also make one tag color 50% off all week long. This came in handy during summer theater season, when I was trying to costume an entire cast for a couple hundred bucks. This place is practically a sea of used stuff: clothing, furniture, toys, and, recently, books. I’m always astounded at the quality of some of the things I can find here, like two pairs of Gap original jeans in my size, still deep indigo blue with no tears or fading, for $ 3.99 a pair, an Elves and Imps sweater for my kiddo for $ 3.00, and a Scrabble set with all of it’s tiles for $ 2. I donate here frequently, too, and they always give a tax receipt and a 20% off coupon. A good deal if you have your eye on something that’s not on special-tag clearance. My issues with Value VIllage are that: a) nothing is washed before being put on the racks, which led to a moth problem at my house last year when I brought home a wool blanket; b) some of the staff seems pretty disinterested in their work(understandable in a retail job, but it would be nice to get a smile from floor staff now and again); and c) my kid cut his mouth badly on a coat hanger a couple of weeks back, and while other customers came running, no staff responded to him screaming. Which is alarming.
