This is my spot for my trifecta as a single guy: good jazz, great wine, and great food. And they have a restaurant on the second floor to go with their great food. But don’t be hesitant about eating at the bar, their menu is no ‘bar fare’, buddy. Far from it! They have a Crab Bisque and Wellington Puff that bring me tears of joy, and their scallops are perfect enough to make Chef Ramsay impressed. Whoda thunked it, right? Their wine list is pretty darn good, too, and they have a full bar and the talent to create great drinks from it. The staff is about as friendly as they come in St. Aug, and Allan is my bartender.(Don’t worry, the others are great, too.) :) I have yet to see a server who was less than friendly, and all are great at what they do. You will not go wrong with this place, either for drinks at their bar, or for dinner. All the years I’ve been coming here, and I have yet to make it upstairs, though. Maybe next time?

Unser eigentliches Restaurant-Ziel ein paar Türen weiter war gottlob ausgebucht; von dort hat man uns dann Rhetts empfohlen ein sehr guter Vorschlag. Wenn man bereit ist, die paar Dollar mehr auf den Tisch zu legen, gibt es dafür echte Sensationen auf den Teller, angemehm charmant und beratungssicher serviert, sogar in herrlich ruhiger bis entspannender Atmosphäre. Auf der ganzen Reise durch alle Teile Floridas haben wir nirgendwo so gut gegessen und dazu einen so unterhaltsamen Abend gehabt wie hier.
