Had breakfast here. It was good but not the best. You seat yourself, order at counter and pick up food when your number is called. Meal served on plastic trays. Food was just ‘ok’. Good for a quick meal.

Waited until after 2:00 to eat so we could get a table. There are plenty of tables, but the kitchen is beyond slow. Was hoping for a fast lunch, but not here it’s been half hour and still no sign of my sandwich. The key lime bar was real God. All tabled have food except us and one more. They have called many truckers after mine. I have my food now, but it came out wrong. I ate what they gave me, but was sorry I did. It was not very good. I will not be back.

Bill and I are extremely impressed with the quality of the coffee, struedel and shortbread cookies we obtained there. Looking forward to future visits there in St. Augustine.

Mocha could be a little less sweet. The amount of stuff on top is fun and ridiculous. Salads are quite large! Ended up splitting a walnut apple feta salad and a pecan sticky bun and being more than full. Both were delicious. To go cups are Styrofoam, not paper. Styrofoam makes turtles sad. Why do you like making turtles sad so much?

This place smelled like delicious cinnamon buns from outside, who can walk by without walking in? However, we ended up coming in for breakfast instead of sweets. It’s a straight forward process: place your order at the register, take your number, wait for it to be called and grab your food from the pick up counter. Grab your own seats — quickly — because people were snagging them left and right. We got the egg, bacon and cheddar on a croissant — $ 6.75. Pricey for a sandwich but cheap compared to other restaurants who serve up brunch. Luckily, it was a big sammich. Wish it had more eggs though. Croissants tend to overwhelm the taste with its delicious grease so more eggs would’ve balanced this out a bit more. We got the caramel and white mocha, both with no whip, and it was still sweet and tasty. Tip: the single mug is about 12oz and pretty damn big. Don’t get the double unless you’re really itching for sweet mocha. Also, be sure to clean up after yourselves people. Especially when there are people waiting for your table. It’s common courtesy.

Took some«treats» to go and none were very good. Cinnamon bun was mediocre, blueberry muffin was dry and flavorless, the ham and cheese croissant was greasy and super heavy, and the oatmeal cookie was simply awful. We didn’t sit for breakfast so perhaps the menu items are better but we won’t be back.

Loved the Cuban sandwich and my husband enjoyed his beef burgundy soup ! Hit the door for a quick wholesome lunch while touring on foot in St Augustine– would recommend to anyone and the pastries in the case looked yummy but I was too full to try any of them !

The food may take a while when they are busy but it’s fantastic. They line works like a well oiled machine, with orders announced like you are boarding a plane. The croissants look straight out of a commercial, and my eggs Benedict were fantastic. The spinach and tomato were incredibly fresh, and the hollandaise sauce was wonderful.

Just as good as I remembered. Everything is good here but croissants are a particular specialty. I love the spinach and feta croissants, but the plain ones are also very good. They do ham and cheese croissants too, but I don’t care for ham. If you like that kind of thing, I’m sure they’re good. Their other baked goods are also top notch. Biscuits are fluffy as a bunny’s little butt, and perfectly browned. Muffins and cookies and scones of every imaginable variety can be found here too. They literally have something for everyone. Specialty coffees, smoothies, tea, and water can be gotten there if that’s what you’re in the mood for. I love coming to the Bunnery for any meal, but breakfast is definitely their standout offering. Often crowded, but always worth it, you can’t lose the food lottery at the Bunnery.

The Bunnery used to be my favorite stop in St Augustine. Sad to say things do not stay the same. They removed my favorite cookies, but told me they would make them on request. When i did request they acted like i was a big inconvenience, and they were doing me a tremendous favor. They are not customer friendly. Also they keep ridiculous hous for a bakery in a tourist town. I was so thankful when the Chocolate Turtle opened, and now I nave a place to go where I can have coffee and dessert, at whatever hour I choose. I miss my Sand Dollar cookies, perfect name/flavor for a beach town, but more than that I miss being appreciated by The Bunnery staff. Barb Bendick

This place was recommended and although the food was good the service was horrible. It’s not season, it’s Aug 8th so there is NO excuse for a 45 min ticket time, we ordered two sandwiches. My husband talked to owner and he suggested that we go to McDonalds if we weren’t happy! Next time we will thank you very much!

I love the Bunnery for what it is: low cost breakfast food. The Bunnery offers baked goods that are made fresh on site, as well as a full breakfast menu in a convenient location right off Saint George Street with parking in the rear and a back door that you can use to access the restaurant. When you enter, go to the front cashier and place an order, then look for a table. After ordering it’s basically a self-serve restaurant with a bussed table, so you can go fill your coffee cups, soda, etc. and wait for your order to be prepared. Once it’s ready, your order is available at the back window. A word of warning, it’s very easy to end up with the wrong tray back there so be careful when selecting your food. The food quality is great in the bakery, and kind of «okay» in the hot food in the back. The bacon is thin but reasonably crisp, the eggs are usually a bit underdone(they clearly have the griddle too hot). The toast and biscuits are good. The gravy is pretty good. Omelets are good. Some of the breakfast sandwiches are huge and pretty good. The bakery is really where this place stands out, as their cinnamon roll is loaded with sugar dispensed from a giant container. I personally love getting baked goods and sitting with a coffee. This is one of my favorite places to get breakfast in Saint Augustine, and getting here early to enjoy the morning is a must-do event during your visit.

The Bunnery was just ok. The buns were served at room temp, not warm, as advertised. The Mac and cheese order was a little in the small size, for a ten years old. Cashier had piercings on every facet of her face. Not sure if I wanted to see that first thing in the am before my coffee. Maybe at night in a dark goth bar may be more appropriate.

This place is great. I alway get the southern eggs when I come. They also have gluten free options including French toast. They are usually pretty busy on the weekends so expect a wait. It is definitely worth it.

Great gluten free breakfast place! I was shocked when I heard there was gluten free french toast available. Plus to top it off they have an incredible mocha turtle coffee! Everything was wonderful and we will be back next time we visit the area. :)

This is the perfect weekend morning breakfast spot. If you want something fast to eat while you stroll down Saint George Street try the Ham & Cheese or Spinach & Feta Croissants. The eggs benedict and eggs florentine are to die for if you have the time to sit. Fresh and made to order pretty quickly. Their coffees are large and eye opening, with the perfect amount of chocolate and caramel in their Turtle Lattes. It is difficult to find a seat most days but after hovering around a bit while they make your coffee, usually a table opens up.

In a town that failed to hold my attention, it was a pleasure to stumble into this bakery. Sometimes you«can» judge a place by number of people in the house… and the Bunnery was«packed» and everyone was laughing, smiling and enjoying their time here(though a little on the loud side). And the place is on the larger side so filling up and having so many people waiting for a table is quite a feat. They even had a line out the door of people getting bakery goods and coffees from the take-out counter. The dishes I saw on tables looked good and by the way we saw the waitresses buzzing about it seems that they are on the ball. We had plans to head out of town but wanted a little bite for the ride… luckily that never-ending line out the door moved very fast. So fast that I barely had a chance to examine the glass bakery case when the girl asked what I’d like. If you ever take space in this line just«be ready» to shout out your order. My iced latte was superb… my ham and swiss croissant sandwich was excellent… the raisin scone was a bit bland and dry(but then again I think all scones bland and dry). Although I liked my ham and swiss croissant sandwich, I prefer it to be heated or at least warm(preferably heated to melt the cheese some) but they do not heat anything up… when I asked if they could heat mine up they simply pointed at a self-serve micro-wave oven… not only do I not want to do it myself but I really would prefer a toaster over. I don’t understand that they can’t heat it up considering they«supposedly» bake the goods on the premises(this issue almost brought them down to a 3 star review, hmm)
