I went there for some coffee and check out their Aussie pies. I ordered the Neuron Bomb(espresso with coconut oil) which was a nice surprise. I like coconut and I love espresso but didn’t know if the two would be ok together especially when one is in an oil form. I rather liked it. I had it unsweetened(I normally drink my coffee black). The Neuron Bomb turned out to be a nice creamy textured espresso shot with no cream. You can taste the coconut but it doesn’t overpower. I also ordered some pies to go. The two different beef ones were alright but too salty and one with cheese on top was a little burned. The chicken chili one had a nice crust and nice flavored but the veggies could’ve have been cut a little smaller(since it’s a small pie) so the texture can be better. The strawberry pie was very nice with the crumble on top it satiates any sweet tooth. The only difficulty I have is actually getting into the place. I was traveling alone with the baby so I had a small stroller(thankfully I didn’t bring the full size one). It is located up a few steps so I had to take the baby out and set him on the stairs so that I can move the stroller up the stairs. The place is pretty small so the umbrella stroller had trouble maneuvering inside as well.

A ton of great reviews so what can I say that hasn’t already been said? Two locations in St Augustine. It’s an Australian themed place with house baked goods and serving local coffee from Bold Bean in Jax. Get the Honey Badger!

Stopped by for a drink on a hot Sunday in Saint Augustine. I ordered the Aussie iced coffee and it was delicious– strong and flavorful. It’s a regular iced coffee with an extra shot of espresso and cream and syrup. The shop itself was very small, and we were hoping to try some of their meat pies but they had run out!

All my family and friends who live in St. Augustine said I had to try it. Coming from the land of Panther Coffee I’m pretty spoiled but this place did not disappoint. In fact I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. This will now be a St. Augustine«must do» whenever I’m in town. They have great baristas, craft beer, laptop friendly with outlets and all, and a really great coffee shop vibe. If you live nearby I hope you’re a regular by now!

Friendly staff. Excellent quality. Ordered a Honey Badger and was very pleased with the flavor, quality, ambiance and service. Prices are a hair more than Starbucks but the experience is well worth it. Definitely stop by if you are in the area. The fact that it is in a strip mall is deceiving but it has many drink options including alcoholic and some baked goods too. I would love it if they had something like this in Daytona Beach. This spot is definitely hipster but they have a lot of respect for coffee and know the proper technique.

Coffee and cupcakes in a little coffee shop on a Saturday night before dinner. They have friendly service and made a delicious and beautiful latte. This place feels so cool I felt like a hipster for a few seconds.

Good drinks but expensive. The pies are pretty good I like that they have new ones all the time. Their baked goodies are yummy too but not the cookies. Cupcakes are to diieeee for!

I love the food, service, coffee and atmosphere at the Kookaburra, and Spencer just took his own time to personally respond to my Unilocal complaint about not having a high chair and committed to purchasing one for his establishment. Yay!

I found The Kookaburra on Unilocal when I was looking for a place to kill an hour. I thought this place looked cool and cute so I gave it a try. It did not disappoint! Walking in, I thought the place looked hip and comfortable. It was busy but the wait wasn’t too long. I ordered a Flat White to stay and it was awesome. I saw a group next me get scones and meat pies and boy was I jealous! They looked so good. The staff was so friendly and it was really a very pleasant expereince.

Amazing coffees and great teas! Great service and a cool vibe. I know its really random but the tile in their floor makes me dizzy, that’s the only negative thing I can say though– everything is awesome!

I’m a NYer that spends a good amount of time in this part of FL. I fell in love with this place after my first visit, but left town immediately after I discovered this gem. The minute I arrived back in town I made a trip to get a Shaq Diesel(which is delicious). I also have to say the dessert at this place is amazing. I’ve only tried their cupcakes, but they’re to die for! Kaitlyn and Cheyenne were super friendly and offered up some suggestions. This is a very cool place with a chill vibe, great drink options and amazing desserts! Will definitely be back.

So everyone knows I’m a «Starbucks girl», but whenever I’m in the mood to step out, this’ll be the spot! I stopped in on recommendation and left pleasantly surprised! I love the vibe. Very casual, hipster-chic, and relaxed atmosphere! Friendly baristas(if they even call themselves that) who helped me pick out my drink based on my Starbucks favorite and didn’t get offended! We settled on the«Princess Kristin»(how fitting) and I loved it! I’ll pop back in on my cheat days! Cute spot!

First time at the US1 Kookaburra location. Loved it as much as the smaller one. The Aussie iced coffee is delicious. Only gave it a four star review because of the high prices, otherwise EPIC!!!

First trip into a kookaburra,(which led to a Google search to find out what a kookaburra was), and we truly enjoyed the experience! Michelle and Cheyenne were so helpful and gave great suggestions and recommendations to us newbies. Totally stole piece of my son’s lamington… So yum! The green goddess(not green) was exceptional… For a tea lover like me of course. Cool atmosphere for my sister and I with my two little ones in tow. Will definitely visit again!

Very average. 12oz drinks only have two shots of espresso. If a flavoring is ordered, they go very heavy on the syrups. For example, a hazelnut latte is very sweet from the syrup and light on the espresso. If that’s your thing, go for it, but this is not a coffee drinkers coffee shop.

A great place to kick back and have a hot/cold coffee or a frosty local craft brew! The baked creations look amazing and worth a try. The scenery in here is sweet. Solid bold colors with random setups of furniture gives it a comfy feeling. The art on the walls are distinct and so are the caffinated brews!
