Denny’s

Went in again tonight the food is still nasty would not eat there again staff very unprofessional she took a smoke break in the middle of waiting tables walked in went behind the counter and grabbed our plates with dirty smoker hands

Bad service and bad food. I got sick off of the post roast. I live right across the HWY and I will now drive to St. Peter or Lake St Louis to eat at Denny’s.

Should have read reviews before going. Almost had to call them after we were seated as we waited 10 minutes to get a waitress. When we got our order it is only half there and it was cold and not correct. Will try Waffle House next time.

Stopped by this Denny’s on Sunday at 2 for breakfast and lunch. Was sat immediately and water was delivered. We quickly ordered a simple breakfast and my partner ordered a burger and fries. 45 min later the server brought our food, apologized for the wait and finally filled our water. This is the second visit with extremely slow service. Never again!
I highly suggest you go anywhere except this Denny’s.

Food is terrible. I was slightly intoxicated and still felt like I ate dog food so that’s saying somethin.

Worst Denny’s experience ever! Waited forever for our food. Noticed they sent my boyfriend and I’s food out to another person accidently. That person was mad that they waited forever for their food and then it got messed up. They were going to reserve the food to me that the lady was touching on. I declined and left. I was totally turned off. They couldn’t handle a busy day. None of the servers knew what was going on half the time. Bad management. Bad experience. Won’t be back ever.

This place is just terrible. There were about 3 people eating when I was there and I waited about 20 minutes just for someone to take my drink order. They are very slow and they are not respectful at all. The food was okay for a Denny’s I guess but the service was just bad!

Three waitresses all having extreme attitude causing a twelve top to walk out. Had wrong orders left and right one being mine. Told me the yellow cheese on my burger was swiss. Told me thats what i ordered before throwing a fit to the cooks right in front of me. Uncomfortable temperature. Rediculously cold. Slow. Eneded up eating after my date. Overdone country fried steak and underdone fries. Servers all talking loudly in front of tables about how badly they want to walk out and how much «bullshit» this night is. But not eben helping customers when they can. No refills the whole time. Worst dennys experience. Definitely dont come to this one

Well first Denny’s I’ve been in that has smoking yuck! I haven’t been in a smoking place since the 90’s my eggs over cooked at first the cooks left and a waiter was stressing they had no cooks n thought they all left this is ⁴⁄₁₉ @ 1220am n there was a waitress in manager type shirt that was talking to customers about things a customer should not hear badly ran place

Picked up a to-​go ordrr and checked with the waitress twice to make sure everything was in there and low and behold once i got home the eggs were missing. The 2^nd order was completely cold… my 1^st impression didnt turn out so great

This review isn’t exactly for the restaurant but for our server Erik who kept me calm while new cooks struggled to keep up the high Sunday demand. The food came out after a wait and it was decent and what I normally expect of a grand slam. Erik returned to our table over and over to check on us during our wait and in my opinion one of the hardest working servers so far. I would return just for this guy haha.

Food was cold, restaurant needs some serious cleaning. Now I know why it’s been over 20 years since our last visit. Go to cracker barrel and have a much better dinner and service.

Have only visited Dennys twice in the last 12 months. Both times the service was nearly non-​existant, food was fair.

It’s Denny’s… It’s open 24 hours in a row and they have pictures on the menus so the drunks don’t have to read the descriptions… They can just point it out! I was out of Beta-​Blockers so I decided to go in the afternoon. The place smells very odd but the food was good and the service fast. I even got to hear one of the servers get into it with the kitchen staff because they said her English ‘sucks’. She replied that «if dat da case why did I get a 35 on my SAT den» where (energized by her witty comeback) did a quick little mechanical dance. Now THATS good times right there!

The food was good, but the servers seemed to have better things to do than tend to the customers. Plus I thought it was a little weird they had no set «uniforms» most were wearing Cardinals t-​shirts, none of which were tucked in.

It’s Denny’s. Cheap food. Relatively slow service. What I don’t get is how everyone can be running in circles and yet it takes forever to get anything to the table. I also don’t understand how my wife can order a soda and a glass of water, and myself just a soda, and the waitress can fill the wife’s half empty soda (water glass 100% full) and not once fill the empty glass on my side of the table. Even after purposefully reaching across the table to drink from my wife’s soda and pushing my empty glass toward her, my glass remains empty for the remainder of the meal?
I can take a lot of things but being completely inattentive to the customer is just bad for me. Great service isn’t difficult. No service is just a damned good reason not to go back.

It’s a Denny’s. Even on their best day, three stars is probably the top they could earn.
I was there with a group and numerous orders arrived either wrong or cold — some were both. Mine was cold but accurate. Tough pancakes, overcooked & greasy scrambled eggs, unevenly toasted english muffin — it was all there — it just wasn’t that appealing.
The waitress had her tip locked-​in based on the size of the group and it showed. At one point, I asked for a diet coke and she brought it by about 15 minutes later — dropped it (sans straw) and ran — no offer of a refill either.
I once heard the wife say: «complaining about your food at Denny’s is like leaving a whorehouse and complaining that you didn’t feel loved.» That pretty much sums it up…

It’s Denny’s. It smelled funny, but that’s not their fault I’m sure.
The food was good, but the people watching was better. As always.
I’m sure I will be back when I need a fix. Haha!

I came here late night and the service was horrendous! It took forever to get our order taken, and even longer to get our food cooked. There was also an annoying loud person sitting a few booths away from us playing WoW… I think he worked there because he seemed to know all the staff. Also the food came out tasting bad… even for a Denny’s
