Really slow service and very mediocre food. 30 minutes for appetizer, skipped salad and another 20 minutes for entrée. Manager offered a dessert as compensation for missed course but server never brought it.

Hour and a half to get salad. Which was less than a minute before my steak was served. Steak was extremely under cooked. It was returned to me with the juices cooked out. The check didn’t arrive until 20 mins after our plates were cleared. I wouldn’t come back to this location. Very disappointing.

Fish and chips(the only Cod on the menu) tastes like fish sticks from high school lunch. I sent it back…(I never send it back) switched to the Lake Perch, this should easily be a no brainer, not so much, obviously NOT sautéut broiled in a vat of oil… what shall I do send it back again? I’m here for dinner and drinks. Well dinner sucks and the drinks are on tap at 22oz. The bartender lets it all the dishes pile up at the bar. Do yourself a favor just get the seafood gumbo and drink. Not that anyone gives a shit what I have to say… im just a south park Unilocaler…

Good food. I had the catfish beignets as an appetizer and the crawfish etoufee as the entrée. Both were good… not fantastic but good. The bread was a bit on the hard side for me. I’ll come back when in town, but this place is not as good as Pappadeaux.

Not sure why we started a new Fishbones Unilocal page because I’ve reviewed it before, but I’m happy to say it’s still a great place to grab a bite in the St Clair Shores«Nautical Mile»(Jefferson between 9 and 10 mile roads) area. Great little sushi bar section and a breezy outdoor bar in the Spring/Summer/Early Fall. Louisiana Cajun food and good seafood are the specialties, but they have the standard steaks, chops and chicken dishes, too. I think the thing that sets FB’s apart from restaurants in this area is the sushi bar. They kick out consistently good sushi and I think otherwise you would have to go to Grosse Pointe and farther to get your sushi fix fixed correctly. Keno at the indoor bar and an open kitchen are cool things, too. Happy Hour foods and drinks in the bar area only from like 4 to 7, I believe. Long Live Fishbones!
