We booked the back room for a large group(19 people) for a late morning Sunday breakfast. Not only was the room ready and waiting, the waitstaff were extremely efficient, accommodating, patient and helpful beyond what should have been reasonably expected. The food orders were varied, as one can imagine, but the staff worked hard and all were served within 10 – 15 min of each other. What a good feeling to see the waitstaff helping each other out. On top of all this, the food was quite good and very reasonably priced. To get such good service, especially on a busy Sunday, was a pleasant added surprise. Highly recommended.

For a Rams Horn this one is pretty nice and has great service. We rolled in here one night after a long day out on the lake(a little tipsy and probably a lot obnoxious) and despite us being goofy we got great service and the food was good too. I mean it’s still chain restaurant food but for Rams Horn I was happy! Wish we would’ve gotten our waitresses name she was on top of things and a pleasure to joke around with. We left a 30% tip for her… Potato skins, tomato basil soup, and roasted turkey were all pretty good!

If you come here make sure you get rose as a waitress. Best waitress ever and funny. Plus the food was excellent as well. Great staff and a great place.

Always a good meal at Ram’s Horn, with a large selection of food, especially for kids. My granddaughter loves it here. We’ve also had a group of grade school friends in the banquet room. Service is always fast and wait staff is friendly.

This Ram’s Horn is a very nice restaurant with nice open spaces, very well done. I stopped in yesterday mid-morning and ordered the breakfast bowl — a huge portion — with biscuits & honey. Like many of the breakfast bowls out there these days, it was loaded with hash brown potatoes, sausage bits, cheese, eggs and topped with sausage gravy. I savoured every bite, knowing that with such a large portion, I would be hurtin’ later. Hot tea topped it all off, just under $ 10 out the door. ~~ No military discount offered — I asked. :-(

This is not the standard, crappy Rams Horn I’m used to– It’s the nicest one I’ve been to. Very clean. Food very good in general. I’ll stick with the breakfast though. Last time I ordered the Spinach/feta quesadilla(yes, I know) that came with Tzatziki sc(which is a cucumber/yogurt sc. traditionally). Theirs was sour cream with green things in it which I don’t believe were even cucumbers and salsa? Without the proper Tzatziki sc and the greek dressing that didn’t come with it, I would rather have a regular quesadilla. Breakfast is very good though.

It was absolutely horrible. Worst experience of my life. The manager argued with us when we complained about the food and took our food from us. He refused to serve us and completely horrified we got up to leave and he told us we had to pay! Even though he took our uneaten food off the table! We refused to pay so he then called the police. We talked to the officer and then the officer went to talk to the manager, the manger then LIED to the cop and told him he wasn’t going to make us pay, he just wanted us to leave when the reason he called the police was because we wouldn’t pay. I was horrified and will NEVER be going back there again.

Woah. I am definitely surprised at the good reviews this place has. I am convinced that there is a bag of frozen chicken strips in the back that they microwave and throw onto their«grilled chicken» salad. The staff was nice, but this could not even be considered a sub-par CHAIN restaurant– seriously.

came to this Rams Horn location for the first time today and I have to say it was pretty good. The wait staff were freindly the manager were refilling cups of coffee for everyone, I ordered the chicken breaded pita with fries, it wasnt bad, they use something called«brick cheese«i didnt realy care for the cheese, national coney island has spoiled me with there version of a chicken pita(hani) they use 2 slices of cheese(swiss ans american I think) but anyway I might ask if they will make it like that next time, i would recomend this with no problems, lots of seniors, easy acces to parking.

So, I went to the Big Boy that was formerly at this location a thousand times and loved it. Much to my dismay they closed. But then, hello, all the sudden a Rams Horn opens up! One of my favorite breakfast spots of all time. The outside of the building is very familiar to East siders, but the inside is totally different. Very well remodeled. As I stated, this a breakfast joint for me. The Paul Bunyan Original, the PB Combo, and the Country Boy Special Plus are my favorites. Delicious, filling meals. Wife likes the omelets. I hope they stay open forever.

Open for only a week now this former Big Boy as D.R. said looks nothing like the old place on the inside. In fact this pass for much upper scale restaurant on inside looks. Now onto the food. Ordered a ½ lb burger with onion rings and cole slaw. This was one of the best tasting cole slaws I’ve had. Not quite creamy and not quite a vinager slaw. It tasted like they used duck sauce. It was so good I ordered a second of it. The burger was meh, dry and you could tell it wasn’t fresh but a frozen pattie. Bleck. They were out of onion rings so ordered the fries which were hot but nothing to write home about. Overall for a cheap eats place it fulfills that promise and is a step up from what it replaced.

This Ram’s Horn location recently opened in a former Big Boy on Jefferson at 9 Mile. While the outside may still retain a bit too much of its former tenants identity, the inside has been completely transformed. What was a rather tacky and outdated interior has been freshened up and modernized from the ground up. We visited on their first official day open and were not disappointed in one thing. From the friendly, efficient service to the well presented and prepared food, I have to say that this place exceeded my expectations for a chain family restaurant. Everything from the décor to the service to the food seemed to be a step up from what you’d expect.
