Tuesdays… Not actually open until 8, however when I opened the door at 7:15 to a very dark room the owner was extremely nice and welcoming. I mentioned the Unilocal account said open at 7 and he very kindly gave me my coffee to go. I’d come here again during business hours a yay. Beautiful space, beautiful view.

Jacob’s Well is a wonderful place to relax and gather with friends. The overstuffed leather sofas are so inviting, reflecting the relaxed spirit of the establishment. The paninis are truly delicious and the owner, Joseph, and his staff are friendly and laid-back. All too often at other establishments, one feels rushed to move on as the restaurant staff wish to «turn over» the table space. Not so at Jacob’s Well — Joseph would be happy to have you linger all day. I should really take a lesson and learn to slow down more often.

My husband & I remember this place when it was Fixx Coffee — I was disappointed when Fixx closed because we had our first date there and that’s where he proposed. We were happy that it was reopening again under new management and a new name. The food was good and the coffee was great. The owner is very friendly and service was good. When we went on a week night, it was very quiet — there was only one other person there. I hope they are able to stay open for a long time because it is in a great location & it is just fantastic overall.

Nice Christian atmosphere. A very clean and comfortable facility with a view of Lake Michigan. The breakfast and lunch sandwiches were great.

From where I sit, Lake Michigan — a massive blue-green giant over the still green foliage is seen. It feels like fall. The air is crisp and slightly cool these days. The«cortado» warms me perfectly. Takes me back to drinking my mom’s coffee when I was a child in Puerto Rico. The house baked almond — filled croissant provides just the right amount of sweetness to complement my drink. I hear the paninis are quite the tasty treat. I shall return to see for myself and enjoy the welcoming service and the view.

Jacob’s Well Café has a large space with lots of natural light and a nice view of Lake Michigan in the distance. They are brewing their coffee with Stone Creek Coffee, which is one of the top three roasters in Milwaukee area. Their smoothies seem to be a popular choice, as well as their brewed iced tea. Perhaps they are best known for their quality Panini Sandwiches, which are reasonable priced and super tasty. I should not forget to mention the staff is extra welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. If your looking for a place to relax, read a book, chill with friends, or just enjoy the lake breeze, Jacob’s Well is a great choice.
