My wife and I got our certifications from Dixie Divers, and we have never been happier! From the first-rate dive trips to Catalina Island, to the fun dive activities in Sand Hollow Dive Park, we have found that in southern Utah you can have fun in the sun AND under the water! Thank you for being such an amazing dive shop, instructors, and all-around great people!

Shelly is the bomd! I was preping for a trip to Maui and wanted to get my scuba certifcation. Dixie Divers got in done in 1 week and were very accomodating. They were fun, professional and went out of their way to make sure my experience was what I expected it to be. They have great equipment that is included in the price, and very knowledgable about equipment, dive locations and what to expect. I had an absolute blast in Maui, they were very impressed with my dive skills considering how new I was. They let me go on a 70′ reef dive in a pretty strong current. I highly recommend Dixie Divers to all my friends. Thanks shelly — you rock!

Be sure to lock up your equipment if you decide to book a trip with the Dixie Diver Group. If you want to book a Lobster/Dive trip to the Channel Islands just go to and book it direct. To breakdown and explain the Dixie Divers in just four words unprofessional, unsafe, disorganized and dishonest. Out of my 20+ years of diving this was the worst group I’ve ever been around. The owners were rude, short, not helpful with anything excluding one of the Dive masters Christie who had loaned a spare first stage reg because mine sprung a leak. Also, excluding the boat captains(who were great) and all of the crew members(who were fantastic) There were 5 or 6 separate divers not part of the Dixie Diver group that made the trip enjoyable as well. Trip Breakdown and Personal Experience 1. My over $ 500 GoPro Dive Camera was stolen on the last day of the trip. After we docked and announced my camera was missing the only ones that stayed to check their bags were the divers not part of the Dixie Diver group and the 4 crew members of the Boat. Every person in the Dixie Diver group just took-off right as we pulled up to the dock including the owners and didn’t even seem to care about my camera being missing. 2.) The Dixie Divers never sent us any trip information specifying what was needed and what was to be provided. I mean nothing, no email no letter no voice mail, nothing … So, as a result we were running around the better half of LA from dive shop to dive shop simply to rent 2 tanks(Which by the way we could have rented right there on the boat). How hard is an email with basic instructions of what to expect and bring on the trip? 3.) No documented itinerary whatsoever. Just what was on the website. However, w/o Internet out on the water what good does that do for you? 4.) As for my camera that was stolen I have my suspicion of who it was. I was asked by this person if my camera had been found well before it was even announced that it had been missing. This person never said one word to me the entire trip then sudden he cares about my camera? Strange. But how do explain this to the people in charge when it was their own son raising such suspicion. They lost any future business from our end as we will never book a single trip through their business«Dixie Divers» again. I’m in the process of filing a insurance claim and a police report against their business. Maybe now they will care a bit more. Be warned about this business…
