The vertigo looking man in the back burned my grilled cheese!!! The food was aiight. I got it in a to go box and the little chocolate they put in your meal melted by the time I got home! Fatness! However, the swoldier in the back made some delecious smoked and pickled cockles!

First I will note that it is now just called«Tiki Island Broiler» not ParrotHead. I had never been to this location before, but they had previously opened one in a terrible location in Salt Lake that went out of business pretty quick, and when they went under they mentioned they had one here in St. George(also a pretty bad location) so it has been 3 or so years of me intending to get down here. When we found the place which is located behind a hotel in a business complex I wasn’t sure it was the right place until I walked inside and everything was identical. Not sure what the story is there with the new name(if someone knows please message me, just curious). I was very sad to have lost the Salt Lake location, but it seems the owners have a skill in picking terrible locations and you had to drive miles from anywhere to find the salt lake one. The food and concept of the place is awesome, I basically describe it as a better, fresher and more generous Rumbi with more authentic menu choices and flavors. I love that they include two pieces of tempura veggi with their bowls and also that it is rice and noodle in the same bowl! I pretty much always get the rice noodle bowl with the Sesame chicken(and the 2 to-and-from Vegas visits this time were no exception), which is my favorite thing that I have tried here, but I also really like their hibachi chicken and have tried several of their appetizers and sandwiches. This time we also got the Tiki Tacos, and the way back trip we just ordered an extra plate of veggi tempura. My main complaint is that both times we went they cut their veggies WAY too thin, like I think they use a fine cheese slicer or something, the sweet potatoes were literally paper thin, and the zucchini was just a smidgeon thicker, so on the tempura plate we got it really was like eating tempura sweet potato chips, they were quite crunchy and just sort of tasted like greasy tempura sans any veggie. Otherwise everything was tasty and their tempura sauce is so good, and their soy sauce based teriyaki is awesome! I really wish we still had one in Salt Lake, and think it would be very popular had they chosen a good location. I would also say that I think the name change was probably a good move because people not familiar with Jimmy Buffet may have been confused about the name, but on the other hand it is a pretty generic sounding name now. If you are in the area I would recommend giving them a try, and they will continue to be a part of my southern Utah trip visits. The food is good and the atmosphere is great.

This property was once a rising star on the local scene. Unfortunately the food quality and service have declined dramatically. For example, on Tuesday, 8⁄18 I took a party of 4 and ordered basic fish dishes. The food was lukewarm and obviously deep fried in very old oil. I asked to speak with a manager and was told by a young man that he «guessed» he was in charge. He was rude and offered no alternatives. We asked for tartar sauce that was left out of the order and told each serving was 32 cents. The poor food, rudeness and lack of cleanliness were indicators that ownership no longer cares. We will not be back.

I’ve decided that since I’m getting a little bored with eating out endlessly(with no end to that in sight), I’m going to start letting staff choose my meals for me. This, however, worked out to very poor effect here when the otherwise very nice girl didn’t know the menu enough and I wound up with a buttload of onions in stuff. I cleaned them out(I thought), but my somewhat agonizing gastrointestinal distress later told me otherwise. So, you probably have to remind staff that green onions are still onions and don’t order the noodles at all, for they are infected. Other than that, the flavors were good. Their teriyaki sauce is very choice and on the meat end, this is a good representation of island cuisine, even though the interior looks a lot like white people trying to design Islander by way of stereotype. Inside was not great, but the skewers were. Definitely get those. They also did the rice pretty well. Still, a couple things I can’t dance to: presence of onions when I specifically and repeatedly ask for none and a somewhat interminable wait time. Place was dead and it took about half past forever to get out of there. Look, I don’t want to die in your lobby waiting on my food and while it’s nice to chill and look at your puzzling obsession with those blue-wrapped Dove milk chocolate squares, I’m not getting any more full admiring that. Work out the speed, get some better drink choices, train your staff(I’ll forgive you the dumb décor inside) and this becomes a much better place.

Looking for something new and we heard this was a good place to eat! We got the rice and noodle bowls which we really enjoyed. We also arrived right when they were closing and they served us anyway. We appreciated that gesture by the nice girl at the counter, being restaurant business owners ourselves here in town. I would definitely visit again.

I had the fish and chips with a soda — $ 9.60. The chips were average but the so called Mahi Mahi consisted of batter and maybe a sliver of fish. So dry and rubbery. Terrible. The coke was awesome.

It’s all delicious at the Tiki. Try the rice noodle bowl with sesame chicken or tempura shrimp. Or have both! Pull pork sandwich is wonderful too! The service is friendly and helpful. For the price the value of the meal is excellent.

This was supposed to be an order-at-counter, reasonably fast fresh food restaurant. Instead, we had to wait 40 minutes, food was full of sugar and salt, the stir fry vegetables were only a tablespoon full, staff were incompetent and immature. Only the meat was good. Will not return.

Their steak and sesame chicken with noodles and rice is great. The last three visits, however, the tempura veggies that come with have been subpar. Sliced extremely thin and twice with no sweet potato.

I’ve always enjoyed dining here. The food is fresh and flavorful! The staff is always smiling and very friendly! They offer great food and customer service which is very difficult to find anymore. They just recently opened a cozy café next door and I love it! I tried their Mango Mousse Cake and it was absolutely delightful! I highly recommend trying a piece of this paradise you wont be disappointed!

Came here a little before closing. They didn’t chase us out and were very friendly and helpful. Food was hot and tasty when it came. I got a chicken sandwich that came with fries. The kids meal for our 4 yr. old was enough for an adult. Next time I’ll just share something with her.

Still can’t figure out why they haven’t change their name on Unilocal to Tiki Island Broiler but I digress. I’ve tried quite a few things on the menu and all have been really good. My most recent purchase was their stir fry platter with pork and it was awesome. Tiki is one of the better resturants here in St. George it’s just too bad that their location isn’t the greatest but I guess that can help because it’s never too crowded when baseball tournaments or the iron man come to town.

Now called the Tiki Island broiler. New ownership. First time here. It was a great experience. I wasn’t sure what was good. I talked to the gal at the register. She explained all the dishes to us. I went with a steak salad that had fruit and cheese. The dressing was a house special that tasted amazing. I was just sad I was too full to get another dish. Next time I’m in St. George I’m stopping here for sure.

Large portions well priced. I had the tiki salad(sub spinach) and it was great! Lots of chicken lots of yummy toppings and a great dressing.

All I gotta say is that this place is awesome. I stopped in here while I was running a promotion for a local day spa. When I came in I was greeted with a warm smile from the owner. She was super friendly and after I saw the menu I decided I had to have lunch. I decided to go with the salmon stir fry. Delicious. I highly recommend this place. They go the extra mile here to make their customers happy. Next time I’m in St George I plan on coming back again. :)

This place has really gone down hill in quality, quantity of food, and service. I used to visit here weekly years ago, however the last year or so has really been bad. In all recent visited, I have been treated poorly, the food has been mediocre, and they don’t offer the same amount of food they used to. I now avoid this place and know a bunch of people that do as well. Not as good as they used to be. :(

I’ve heard their fish tacos are great, I wish I would have tried them when I went. Instead I opted for one of their tempura rice bowls which was good. It’s quick and casual.

Great food in a nice quiet place. I really enjoyed the pork and my wife loves the fish tacos. One note they have great sweet potato fries. I am not a fan of sweet potato fries but these were great. They also have s sweet and tangy sauce for the fries.

A nice casual Hawaiian themed place with a nice variety on the menu. Not L&L Drive In style but there’s salads, pork platter, pork sandwiches, rice and noodle bowls. Friendly service, you order and pay and they bring your food pretty quickly. Self serve fountain drinks. I was actually surprised to see this place in Southern Utah… the drive on hiway 15 through the red rock gorge and the general rock formations do remind me of the real Hawaii. If passing through St. George and you want a nicer alternative than Burger King or the other usual highway fast food stops, try Island Broiler.
