Sunday afternoon on Valentine’s Day my girlfriend took us here pre dinner. Our intention was to stop in for a couple of cups of coffee being that our actual dinner reservation was not till 8:30 in downtown Napa. I was in for a surprise! From the complimentary valet, gorgeous view, tasty small bites, delicious cocktails, and wonderful wine selection! This place will make you forget you’re in St. Helena and not want to leave. A lot of places can have the best food and drinks, but the staff’s warm welcome paired with impeccable service are what makes your experience memorable and make everything else worth it! This place has done all of the above and we will definitely be back for more!

The view is amazing from the more casual bistro side. Favorites(lunch) include the burger and thin crust pizza. Both melt in your mouth with the best view of Napa Valley as your backdrop. Superb experience.

A must visit location. We are visitors from NJ. A friend recommended this bistro and he was right on the money. Our waiter, Clay, was pleasant and very good in his recommendations on the entries. We started with a local cheese platter and then we decided on splitting their celery soup. Both excellent choices. Of course our eyes were bigger than our stomachs so we also ordered the Margarita pizza with prosiuto and mushrooms. Another excellent choice. Overall a great location on a rainy day to enjoy good food, wine or a shift dring by the fireplace.

Beautiful scenery and bar area. Very nice feel and food. Service was nice and attentive. Very pricey but that is to be expected. The pizza needed more flavor and the pasta was al dente. I liked it but I wouldn’t say it was amazing.

Terrific place. Went to Auberge Bistro & Bar for lunch after some wine tasting in Napa. We were seated right away and were astonished by the beautiful view and peacefulnes. The food was very good and the service even better. Do try the chocolate cake for dessert. Hope to return soon!

We arrived at 11:00AM and were immediately greeted by the friendly valet parking attendant. We were able to walk right into the Bistro and picked any table we wanted because we were the first customers to arrive. We sat at a table right on the edge of the patio with a killer view. It was so quiet and peaceful. The waitress immediately brought complimentary olives and water. We started with the house sparkling wine, which was delicious. We ordered the margherita pizza with pepperoni and the burger with fries. Everything was amazing and the portion sizes are big enough to share which is awesome. The service was impeccable, the staff was so friendly and the ambiance is something everyone should experience. The bathrooms are also extremely clean and fancy and the rest of the grounds of the resort are so beautiful. I will definitely be back for another visit soon!

This is a place I need to visit whenever I’m in the wine country. It just calms me down & makes me purr. We were on the last day of our wine country excursion. And I wanted to show off the Auberge restaurant. Problem was, it was just after 2:00. The restaurant closes between 2:00&5:00. No fret my pet. The bistro is open all day. The restaurant is outstanding. And the bistro will not disappoint. Still very upscale, but also very casual. Having already had lunch, we didn’t need to eat. I really only wanted 2 things: 1) To soak up the world class view out on the deck. 2) To enjoy a fine glass of wine. And that’s exactly what we did. Only we added French fries. They’re perfect w a glass of wine. The menu offers classics like pizzas, mussels, charcuterie, & of course a bistro burger. Complimentary olives when you sit down. Maybe it’s just me, but I swear French fries taste better out here. 4 stars.

If you want snooty food, go next door. If you want tasty bites with less attitude, this place rocks. But, I will warn you, a full star docked based on how rude the hostess is and how she walks the dining area every 7 minutes staring at you and how much food you have left as if to say«get the heck out». Our waiter was spectacular. I would give him and the food 5 stars, but the hostess brought a downer to the experience. Must get: Marrow, Tuna Tartar, Burger, Arugula Pizza, Oysters. Skip: Cubano, Fries and cheese plate. They are both«ok», but there are things here that are epic, don’t waste calories on these.

Good service, goods food and very high prices. Well it is Au Berge and your n Napa. I tried the olive s wood fired and a nice pizza for lunch. Lee ordered the mussels and a grilled artichoke. The artichoke was very disappointing. No real flavor and had been over steamed or boiled. We did have a very pretty view from the patio.

Almost missed this review! Thanks to the lovely Stephanie for suggesting this place, and it worked out perfectly. Sandwiched in a time slot between Conn Creek and Miner, which happen to be about 1 mile away, this was the perfect place to grab a quick lunch and enjoy an amazing balcony view! I did my research before. They have two options here, the restaurant or the(cheaper) bistro and bar. Not sure if the restaurant is dinner only, but it was clear my group would be preferring the cheaper side(Napa adds up quickly) and you still get the amazing view — win win! We valeted upon arrival which was free, and grabbed a 6-seater out on the balcony. Each table had a heater over head which was nice as the breeze in Napa in May still carries a chill. Waters and olives were brought to the table and I got down to snacking while looking over the menu. And I might add this is a sizable amount of olives! I ended up getting a pasta which was delicious. Only complaint would be that the dish was slightly lukewarm and could have come out a bit hotter, but no worries, I happily enjoyed. Another in the group got the NY strip and felt it was the best steak he’s ever had! They don’t have that cut in England so he was pleased. I did share in some pizza as well, which was disappointing in my opinion… too soggy and all the toppings fell off as soon as you pulled the slice away from the rest of the pizza. Overall though, you must stop in here for lunch. The view alone from the balcony makes it worth it and the food is pretty decent :)

The less stuffy bistro bar to the Auberge restaurant. No reservations needed and you still get the gorgeous view. There are some bites here to be had and some nice cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks as well. A full bar with a variety of spirits. But really, you’re here just for the view right?

If you are looking for the top of the class yet casual spot to take a little winetasting break, look no further, seriously the view overseeing the Napa Valley is incredible. My friend and I started our winetasting with a beautiful lunch right here, enjoying plenty of sunshine out on the deck sipping their house sparkling and tooth-picking their delicious olives, the creamy silky bubbles washes out the olive’s salty brine to create a perfect harmony. For starter, we had a Smoked Salmon & Fromage Blanc Tartine($ 13), filet of smoke salmon beautifully arranged on the toast with a little micro-green. Toasty, crunchy, and very savory. That appetizer really goes well with their Sunchoke Soup(seasonal, $ 11), a generous mini-pot of velvety soup, hot but doesn’t burn you tongue, garnished with diced croutons for an extra dimension; a very fitting dish for the winter days. Their Prosciutto Fontina Pizza($ 21) topped with Arugula and shaved Parmesan cheese was baked perfectly-thin, the cheetah spotted sides with a bit of salt crystals and the«crunch» sound effect elevates the elegant balance of the ingredients topping this pizza. It’s also big enough for us to pack up a few slices to-go afterwards. Great food complimented with world-class services(complimentary valet parking) and a stunning view, It’s totally worth checking out. Cheers.

Hands down one of the best Burgers in the Bay Area! Words can’t describe how amazing it is to eat on their open patio overlooking the golf course and getting a 5 star service from the lovely personal. I have been here with friends and families is a must when I’m in Napa.

Amazing view and very romantic! The service was really good. I had pimientos de padron which were really good and I had a tuna tartar which was not memorable… However, the Auberge Torte au Chocolat was really really good! Overall, I would come back for the view, service, dessert and I might order something else to eat

I came here on a Monday afternoon with my family. I was told to check it out by some friends that stayed here. Initially they seated us in the indoor bar area telling us that we would be moved to the patio as soon as some space opened up. We did see some people being seated to we brought it up to our server. He was very attentive and said he would follow up on it. Finally minutes later we were moved to the patio. The view was breath taking. The food and drinks are awesome too. A little pricey but the view makes up for it. I would definitely go here again.

There are a number of elements to the dining experience. This place is spectacular on the ambiance factor; benefitting mainly from a beautiful day and an incredible view. If you get nice weather while in town, definitely visit! We stopped for a light lunch. We ordered the charcuterie and cheese platter. It was very good. The service was prompt and friendly. This is definitely THE place to go if you are looking for a place to enjoy good food while taking in a view of the Napa Valley. Complimentary valet service is provided. It is a nice touch and mostly needed due to the small parking lot and frequency of events at the property.

Staying at Auberge: $$$$/night Dining at their michelin rated Auberge du Soleil: $$$ Dining at Auberge Bistro & Bar: $$ After a multicourse lunch, we decided to end the evening with wine at sunset. Auberge Soleil and Aurberge Bistro & Bar both have their own terraces located adjacent to one another. Both with the same great panoramic views of the hills and beyond. We opted for tea(since it was chilly out), mushroom pizza, and chicken salad. The food was okay, nothing of note. Fabulous way of ending a great day of vineyard hopping. Valet was complimentary!

Amazing view, ok food, ok service. This place was on our shortlist of receptions had we gone through the destination wedding route, so we decided to give this place a visit during our honeymoon. Auberge is such a small place that there is nothing much to do in the hotel. They only have two restaurants and this is one of them. They served small plates, sandwiches and pizzas. We ordered the prosciutto pizza which was ok — nothing spectacular. Expensive as expected. Service was pedestrian as well. 3 stars but Im not sure if we will be back.

It was a gorgeous day out so we opted to sit in the outdoor casual terrace rather than their formal dining restaurant indoors. The soft natural almost dreamy haze of the sunlight filtered the view of the vineyard below. The setting and ambiance was really relaxing. I felt like I was in Italy. I almost wanted to lay out on a hammock for«riposo». Food wasn’t too impressive(and a bit pricey for what it was) or memorable but service including the complimentary valet was fine. A great visit when in Napa despite the not so exciting menu options. But chances are you came for the views than for their food anyway. So did we.

This bistro has a great view with fairly normal items prepared nice ingredients. The price is not expensive at all. Pasta was rich, pizza bigger than I thought. The ahi tuna tartare was much too salty though. Actually nothing beats a 5 dollar ahi tuna bowl in Hawaii. It was a nice experience with the staff being totally professional. There is complimentary valet to round out the professional experience. I think this is a perfect place to end a wine tasting day especially on the patio.
