Walked by store at Frontenac today. Was offered a free sample. Was asked if I wash my hands often. There was a product for me! Come in store for demonstration. When I demurred saying another time, the man said something like, «it’ll just take 10 seconds! What does it take?» Huh! I don’t care if it takes 10 seconds I didn’t have time then. On the way back through the mall I walked on the opposite side to avoid the three salesmen hovering in the doorway.

I visited Plaza Frontenac on Saturday, Dec 20, 2014 to do some Christmas shopping at approximately 6 pm. I like the mall and have enjoyed my visits there. There was a wonderful African American choir performing holiday music on the first floor. As I made my way to the second level, and passed the Forever Flawless store, I noticed three employees standing outside of the FF store entrance. They were making inappropriate and rude comments and gestures regarding the choir performing in the mall. As an African American woman and professional, I found their actions and words truly distasteful. I will not frequent the Forever Flawless store and while I think that 99% of the folks at PF are fantastic, this really puts a sour taste in my mouth. If they didn’t care for the music, why not just be quiet and go back into the store?
