FINDTHISFOODTRUCKANDGO! GO! GO! The women who run it are stellar, super friendly and nice. And, they make amazing food! The pulled pork grilled cheese is awesome and reasonably priced. They also have a summer spinach salad with a superb poppy seed dressing and delicious strawberries. The other food that people ordered looked good too, but I was extremely happy with my choices. The food also came out fast for a two person process. I can’t wait to see them outside again!

The lovely ladies that run this food truck catered a work event for my company. They came to a coworkers house and set up right outside the fence of her back yard so we could wait for food from the truck. They also offered a few small bites prior to dinner service, as well as desserts for after. For the apps I tried the macaroni and cheese ‘cupcake’ bites which were sprinkled with bread crumbs and buttery. There was also mini meatballs in marinara and chicken skewered and served with a peanut sauce. The chicken was my favorite! The meat was tender and the peanut sauce was a perfect compliment. For dinner I had the grilled cheese with pulled pork and caramelized onions. It’s a serious sandwich guys. Half is more than enough– especially if you want to leave room to try other things! The pasta salad was full of cheese and chunks of pepperoni and salami. For dessert I was luckily in the kitchen when one of the ladies started plating. A few ladies and me snagged one of each of the offerings and cut them up to share. We split a German chocolate brownie, snicker-doodle cupcake, Guinness cupcake and a salted caramel cheesecake bite. The snicker-doodle cupcake was my favorite! The icing was divine. The Guinness cupcake was a close second. Everyone I came in contact with was very sweet and they took great care of us! To feed 50 people and keep us all happy was a challenge and they succeeded.

This is by far, hands down the WORST food truck I have ever been to. Walked up and ordered the pulled pork tacos and a sandwich. 45 minutes later, I finally received my order. During that 45 minute wait, I was watching tacos and sandwiches leaving, that had they just been paired together, would have completed my order and I would have been on my way. What was truly astonishing to me was that every time I asked how much longer on my order, I had to remind the person taking the orders what I was waiting for, which was always followed up with, should be just a few more minutes. That was repeated 3 times, with no food showing up. I would be less upset if these would have been the best tacos and sandwich that I’d ever had, but they were not. The pulled pork tacos did not have much taste to them and the sandwich was definitely not worth a 45 minute wait. All in all, this was a very bad experience and I would definitely tell any friends or family to avoid this food truck.

Fork In The Road stops by my workplace once every other month or so, and I’ve been impressed each time. The italian sub’s giardinera spread was great. I’ll be having the BBQ pork grilled cheese next time.

I’ve tried about 10 different food trucks and this one is by far my favorite! I had their arugula, mozzerella, tomato sandwich and it was delicious. The basil mayo they put on it is amazing! I also tried their chicken tortilla soup which was so tasty and fresh. I highly recommend Fork in the Road and look forward to having them again sometime!

So… do food trucks depend on Unilocal reviews? This seems unnecessary. However — the sandwich was so freaking good I’m going to write about it anyway. If you are at a brewery(Fulton, anyone?) and you see this food truck, do yourself a favor, get out some cash and order the pulled pork and grilled-cheese sandwich. It is so much more than a grilled-cheese sandwich. So. Much. More. Oh, the sweet, sweet onions. A fellow patron ordered their nachos, which also looked delicious. But back to my original point. The sandwich. Do it.

I have eaten at enough food trucks in the metro to say that Fork in the Road is certainly in the upper echelon of the Twin Cities’ mobile culinary scene. Their staple sandwich is the BBQ Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese with caramelized onions and it is great however don’t overlook the rest of their menu. I have also ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich; despite the mediocre bun it is served on this is a phenomenal sandwich highlighted by their«truck-made» blue cheese sauce. I have also ordered the Italian«Frechetta» Sandwich and I was not disappointed The giardinara spread and garlic basil mayo elevated this sandwich to an entirely different level. The two ladies operating this truck are the icing on the cake that make you want to come back again and again.

The Fork in the Road food truck came to my work recently. I knew it was going to be good when I got there and there was a line about 20 people deep. The wait was kind of long, but worth it. I had the pulled pork tacos, which I would highly recommend.

We were down at Mears Park last night for Music in Mears. Fork in the road was there so I thought I’d check it out. I had the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese Sandwich. I was a little skeptical at first as you don’t see cheese and pulled pork together on a sandwich very often. I was very happy with the sandwich, basically all the good things of a grilled cheese but with pulled pork and caramelized onions between. I truly enjoyed the sandwich. The pulled pork was moist and flavorful. I would hit this truck up again, mainly because I’d like to give the cubano a try. Aside from the sandwich the truck appeared clean, the staff inside were very friendly, and the food came up within 5 minutes.

Fork in the Road is nice enough to park in front of the Minnesota History Center every Monday for all the Minnesota History folks to enjoy. I forget to pack my lunch every Monday so I am forced to buy from FitR. Everything I have tried has been pretty awesome, my favorite being the Shrimp & Orzo summer salad, and my least favorite being the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese. Not that it wasn’t good, but it was just really heavy for a hot summer day. Strawberry lemonade is the best, and they take credit cards, which I think is awesome. Plus they are friendly as heck!

Having Fork in the Road pull up to work is beyond convenient and the food is very tasty. They even customized my turkey and bacon sandwich order for me. Friendly folks as well. I’ll be back when they come again.

Best food truck in the Cities? Nope, but not bad either. I’m a fan of the pulled pork, albeit was a bit disappointed by the cuban sandwich I had my first time here as it was served on pretty generic white bread and accompanied by plain ol’ potato chips. When available, the pulled pork tacos do the slowly cooked swine the justice it deserves and are quite good. The buffalo chicken sandwich is also very good and nicely balanced with blue cheese. The tomato basil soup I tried seems like it would make a better marinara sauce as opposed to a hearty lunch for a cold day. So even though some of the menu items could be improved, I’m still a fan since Fork in the Road is really the only food truck that stays primarily in Lowertown most of the summer, service has always been very friendly and, somewhat surprisingly, they’re open year-round — the owners obviously have thicker skin than I do.

really friendly, great service. J got the blt and I got the pulled pork grilled cheese. If it sounds confused, it was. Is it a grilled cheese? Is it a pulled pork sammy? It’s…both? Sure, why not. The BLT was good. Just like a BLT should be. There was a nice avocado garlic spread on it that was nice. The bread for both was basically wonderbread and the chips were restaurant style. We got the strawberry lemonade which was nice and refreshing and on our way to our car they offered us a refill. Not the greatest food cart experience in the twin cities, but it’ll do.
