Pizza Man

I bought some fund raiser coupons for pizza man. One of them being a free 1 topping pizza. After reading the reviews on here I was prepared for the worst «Minnesota pizza». But what I got was much better than Red Savoy, Carbones, or any of the hundreds of other perpetrators of «Minnesota pizza». The pizza was similar to Little Caesars thin crust pizza. If it had better quality ingredients it would be a decent «Milwaukee style pizza».
I’m glad I bought these coupons. I plan to use many more of them.

I would have given this place 1 syar, but at least they tried to right their wrong.
I ordered dinner for delivery so I wouldn’t have to worry about food after a long day of house work.
I ordered 2 pizzas and cheese bread and it was a nightmare.
There was almost no topping on the pizza, everything was cold, and the pizza had been tossed around and was a mess.
The delivery driver was also extremely rude and wouldn’t come up to work my door.
I called the store and spoke with someone who apologized for the «young guy delivering pizza» and gave me 2 free pizzas.
I ordered my free pizzas a few weeks later and it was the same guy delivering my pizza and same thing… cold and gross. Sorry, never again.

I’ll start of by saying that I don’t usually write reviews, but felt this one was worth writing. Also, I should’ve listened to the reviews on here and not gone with delivery. Ugh.
I placed my order at 7:40pm on a Saturday. The estimated delivery time was about an hour. I had to call around 920pm as my food still wasn’t here and the restaurant said «oh no, that’s wrong. It’s more like an hour and a half.» Ok I can be patient. My food did not come until 10pm! No exaggeration here!
This place is 8 minutes from my house. My food was lukewarm. The chicken wings were ok in taste and I can guess that at the restaurant they’d probably be pretty tasty, but they were not crunchy at all. They’d obviously been sitting a while and the moisture from the heat took all the crunch away.
I ordered the taco pizza…
The crust was a little soggy. The cheese was no longer melted at all. I’m not sure I can say it would be better in the restaurant as it was quite salty. The flavor aside from the saltiness was good though and the lettuce, tomato, onion, and olive toppings that came separate for me to put on top were fresh.
The 2 liter soda I ordered was ice cold which tells me that obviously my food was sitting at the restaurant for a very long time.
Dominos would have not only been cheaper, but would’ve been hot and here much quicker.
Would’ve been courteous for the restaurant to call me and update me on the delivery time and at least make sure my food was fresh and hot. I can tell it’s probably quality food if you eat it at the restaurant, but 2 hours and twenty minute delivery time is ridiculous! Especially for soggy food.
I will say might be worth trying to eat in… not delivery.

Open until 10, but apparently calling at 9:38 for delivery isn’t available. Pretty pathetic.

I ordered a burger from here. Walked in and saw that the owner. (I have come in many times) was taking burgers out of the oven and putting the cooked burgers in a container. When I got home, I took one bite of my burger. And couldn’t finish it. It look as though it was just taken out of the freezer put in the oven and given to me. Fries were the only thing I ate. I used to be a regular customer for pizza but I can’t go back due to this experience

Ordered pizza, wings and sampler. Everything in the sampler was pretty terrible. Soggy, Luke warm, not very much in it, as far as quantity. No dipping sauce for mozzarella sticks, or anything else in the sampler. Wings were ok, but buffalo sauce on the side was kinda weird. Pizza? I’ve had better frozen pizzas! Very disappointed with what I got for $ 40!

I don’t know if they go cheap on people who order with coupons, but I got buy 1 get 1, and I feel like I got ripped off.
Flavorless, skimpy amount of cheese, nearly non-​existent toppings… is this an off night, or are my suspicions correct — I got a light helping because I used a coupon?
We have a few free 1 topping pizza coupons, so I will try it again — if anything changes I will update this review.

I have been ordering from Pizza Man for a number of years and I think their cheeseburger and french fries are very tasty! It is a double cheeseburger with a good amount of fries, a pickle and condiments. I love it! It also tastes very good the next day after heating it up in the microwave.

Ordered a delivered pizza and starter sampler. It arrived nice and hot and everything was great. Jalapeño poppers in the sampler were great. Pizza was exactly as ordered. Can’t wait to order again.

I also disagree with the negative reviews. I’ve tried a lot of the food at Pizza Man and its all been pretty good! The pizza is very tasty, even though I always have to ask for extra sauce to get enough. The pizza is WAY better then the chain places. For the price, I consider this place every time I
want pizza.

Surprised to see the horrible reviews below. Lived in the area for 3 years and never stopped here (doesn’t look like much from the road). Had a local baseball team selling coupons for a fund-​raiser, so I bought one. More MN thin-​crust like everyone else around. Aside from the thin-​crust which I don’t really care for, we’ve gotten good pizzas every time from here. Nothing that I’d rave over, but I’ve never been disappointed. Also, prices haven’t been bad. We got 2 large (14″) with 2 toppings for $ 17.90. Also, you get a sheet of coupons every time you buy, which are almost as good of deals as what I bought for the fund raiser. Finally, I like any local business (franchise location of a chain in this case) that supports local youth teams.

I bought two large pizzas one (two topping) and one (one topping). Carrying them from the car to the house, the boxes felt like they were empty.

Pizza was really bad. Couldn’t finish it. Chewy cheese, cardboard crust and terrible cooking made it worse. Olives tasted metallic. Asked for hamburger, got very little.
Way better pizza options in St. Paul. Don’t waste your time on pizza we couldn’t stomach.

There are a lot of options for pizza in this area, I find myself going to Pizza Man a bit more than the others. A nice thick layer of cheese, tasty sauce and just the right thickness of crust. Gotta love that they cut in squares too.
For all the hoopla about Savoy’s (just a few miles down the road), I prefer Pizza Man.

This pizza is horrible! My fiancé and I paid $ 16 ($ 19 with tip) for a medium bacon cheese burger pizza from the location on White Bear Ave, and it was such a disappointment. The cheese was so chewy, the crust was generic, and it did NOT taste like bacon OR cheese burger! We have been trying to patronize local businesses, and this pizza was worse than any of the big chain pizzas.
The pizza was way over priced and way under taste! Never again!
