Went after lunch around 3pm and received the best service I’ve had in years. Menu was reasonably priced and delivered with quality. One can’t do better for price and value than the bucket meals they offer. Enjoyed the deliciously made drinks sitting by the window. It was a little cold and parking had potential to be a problem. However, they said they have valet service.

We set out with friends to eat dinner here on Memorial Day, of all days. They were busy and of course that means the inside dining vibe is impossible, so luckily, a table outside on their patio overlooking the marina was available. I get the impression that they are busy all the time, but with it being the holiday, they were very busy and slightly backed up in the kitchen. We were promptly advised of this fact and were content to have a few drinks while we waited for our food. Two of us had a Portobello Quesadilla and two had the Shrimp Basket. The food was excellent and huge in portion for the price. The shrimp and fries were to perfection. I had to take half of my quesadilla home because it was so large and ample! The tortilla they used was of a whole grain and it made the dish extra nice for a change from the ordinary flour tortilla. By the way, it tasted great reheated too!

Wanted a place on the water since we were staying over there, this particular view wasn’t very good at all, seems like the bar has better view than restaurant. We had a party of 4 and only 1 of us liked the food and she got a Cuban sandwich so kinda hard to screw than up! My daughter had to send her tacos back because they were cold and then just didn’t like them enough to eat the second. I got the chicken and definitely nothing special about it. Wasn’t bad, but not good either. Service was ok, so overall this place was just ok for us! As some of the other reviews have said, it’s wayyyy to loud and cold inside also!

I gave Sea Hags 4 stars because they have greatly improved their options since I last went, but they still have a little bit to go until it becomes a staple for me. Atmosphere: if you are a tourist or a local, this is a great spot no matter what. It is right on the water and is a beautiful place to grab a drink or food and watch the sun go down. It’s not on the beach, but the intercostal is still beautiful. They have docks available if you have a boat and want to come by water. Drinks: my mom got the sangria, and surprisingly it was good! Filled with brandy, wine, ginger ale, and a few other things. A glass was only 5 $. They have drink specials and happy hour Monday-Friday with fairly decent prices for a place close to the beach. Food: they used to have a smaller menu, but have gained some menu items this year which makes me happy. To start, their side salad needs a little help. All it comes with is tomatoes, cheese, and croutons. I think you can add a little more To a side salad to make it appealing. Also, they could have a few more options for salads(like a mango chicken salad since they have pineapple mango salsa). The seafood chowder is a favorite of most. It’s sweet and salty and full of seafood. At least try a cup ! The seafood is always fresh. I’m happy to see the new addition of some healthier options. The island chicken with salsa was very good. The only thing I recommend is they get a few different side offers. All they have is potato, rice and beans, veggie of the day, coleslaw, and fries. They could maybe add a sweet potato, or maybe more than just one veggie option. Who eats sugar snap peas? They were good, but not very filling. Maybe broccoli or cauliflower? Price: you are in the inter coastal. Expect to pay a little more. Price would be between $$-$$$. It’s fresh seafood. A soup and salad is avg 10 $. My chicken dish was 13 $. Sangria was 5 $. Not bad. I’ve paid more but I’ve also paid less. Service: my parents have their favorite server, and you could tell as he already knew what they were drinking before they even told him. He was very attentive and gave us extra bread when we asked. I would say their service deserved a 5 star. Overall, I’m happy with the changes I’ve seen and I look forward to seeing this business grow!

Seafood chowder was good as well as the oyster po boy. However the grouper fish tacos were mediocre at best. Very bland. The waitress wasn’t very sympathetic when told we didn’t care for them. I expect excellent for $ 17.00 a plate. She acted kind of offended that we even brought it to her attention. «I’m sorry here’s your bill».

Excellent place to eat. After work with a drink. The menu is very good, price reasonably. I would recommend. Stop for lunch with a friend an we return for dinner. The grouper well made. The shrimp I could eat or night. Why not a 5? A little slow on both occasion.

I enjoyed our visit to this location on the water which is set up for a nice casual experience especially at sunset with friends or family. The service was very patient and friendly and our server paced the meal very well. To start, I had a few hush puppies which were pretty tasty and large enough to share. For my entrée, I went with the tuna tacos which were much larger than expected and were actually really good. They came with a side of fries that were also very fresh and some of the better French fries I’ve had. I also tried some of the fried shrimp that came in a bucket which were larger than expected and the bucket itself was also much larger than expected. They really give you a lot of bang for your buck! For a very casual spot, I was impressed with everything and will be back!

Fresh fish heaven! Stopped in this cool location while visiting my parents in Treasure Island. Loved the location because they have a deck that overlooks the marina. They have live music so it looked like it would be a fun place to have dinner and kick back. I was there for lunch — and a cocktail ;-) 2.50 well drink cocktails during happy hour! I had the burger which was cooked to perfection, I honestly think it was the best burger I have had in a long time. But after starting in on my burger I longingly looked across the table at my mama eating her fresh off the boat grouper. My puppy eyes must still work on her because she shared… yay me! The fish was blackened and so fresh and prepared perfectly. They give you big portions here and the prices are very reasonable. I will be back next year for the live music!

It’s always busy. Inside and out. Not sure why. The food is mediocre. It’s not cheap. The staff is curt. It is FREEZING inside. Why? The AC wad blowing so hard at me I had to wear a wind breaker. The lounge was better, but very smoke filled. No atmosphere. It was raining, so we could not use outdoor seating.

Stopped here on a beach bar hopping day. At 5:00 ish the dining room was packed. With tourists and old people. Yuck. So we ventured to the outside bar where there was a slightly better mix of people. Super speedy bartender got us drinks right off the bat and told us about their shot specials.(She’s a bad influence) There are great views of the marina here and a lot of people who live on their boats hang here. Great place for sunset pics. Also good for mingling and sharing stories since it is an older crowd. Not a hot spot. .definitely not on any must do list. but when in rome

I absolutely love this place ! They have a great selection of food and are quick to serve it. The restaurant has multiple bars with friendly service staff. They have just revised their menu to include new items for 2016 which include tuna sashimi. Also… Don’t miss the onion rings. There is also a marina at the location that has great facilities and a family of friendly boaters which are a delight to socialize with.

Onion rings SALTY. Barely ate any. Huge portion. My mahi mahi tacos –tortillas were burnt. Unfortunately, didn’t realize until I bit into it. Grouper sandwich was good but compared to other restaurants– small. Best thing was the balsamic grapefruit dressing.

Sit outside and enjoy the great water views, the service comes at a decent, but not fast pace, but with such a great view, that’s OK. The fish sandwich was very good, thick, and filling, and priced right. Cold drinks flowed well, and the place was not overly busy when we were there. Staff was friendly and seemed to like their jobs.

Great place on the coastal waterway. We were a party of 7 and got lucky enough to find a table on the outside covered patio. Every meal we had was huge, hot food, and ice cold draft beers. 1. Marina Salad with fresh grilled grouper, with the homemade balsamic grapefruit dressing was excellent. Romaine was fresh and crisp. Diced cakes & fresh tomatoes were great. 2. Fresh, blackened grouper sandwiches were excellent. Cole slaw was good. Fries are large, battered & crispy. 3. Today’s special was a Fried Oyster Po Boy. That was huge and exceptionally good. Must have been on an 8″ roll, stuffed full of oysters. 4. The other special today was a Reuben, which was right on point. 5. Fish Tacos are two large flour tortilla tacos, we had grilled Mahi Mahi, and could only eat one(other will be a snack later). Great. 6. Shrimp Basket was loaded with fried shrimp, same great fries, and for a buck we added two hushpuppies. 7. Draft domestic beers were only $ 2.00, others only $ 2.50. What’s better than ice cold cheap Draft beers while looking out over a marina in 80 degree weather? Fried Pickles are highly recommended appetizer. Caribbean Egg Rolls and Buffalo Dip served with house made tortilla chips were okay. We did a lot of research prior to selecting this restaurant. With the total tab for apps, brews, and full meals for 7 people totalling $ 136, we felt this was a great way to stuff everyone at lunch. Excellent service, too! Highly recommend this place.

This is a good place for a casual lunch or dinner near the beach or marina. Pretty good food and service, and an obvious hit with the locals. We started with an order of Hush Puppies, which were pretty good and larger than most competitors. They weren’t «bursting with flavor» like the menu promised, but still okay. I ordered a Shrimp Po Boy and my wife had the Marina Salad topped with grilled shrimp, and both were tasty and the portions were good.
The service was good, and Dillon did a nice job keeping us stocked. The noise level is loud, since the televisions are kept on high, so the crowd has to yell their conversations. Overall, a good place for a Saturday afternoon.

Nothing to not like here. Stopped for lunch and had a bucket of shrimp and grouper tacos. Both came with fries which were pretty delicious. $ 2 yeungling specials — love that! The fish, grouper blackened, tacos were delicious!!! Fried shrimp were a nice golden color, fresh and light. Service was great as well.

Average food with good service. Nice view. This place looks to be a good spot for boaters, as it’s attached to a marina. I’m sure it convenient for them, and while horrible for us landlubbers, there’s loads of other options. Again, great service. Just mediocre, over priced food.

I went to Sea Hags for the first time last week, and I was impressed with it. The service was great. The food was pretty good — and very plentiful! I strongly recommend the fish spread as an appetizer! Yum! There is not much on the menu for you if you’re trying to stay healthy, but there are a few non-fried options. They have live music several nights a week, and the music was not too loud and fairly mellow, so it created a nice atmosphere for dinner. I will definitely be back here!

Two words… Absolutely fantastic! If you only get one thing, it has to be the seafood chowder — my taste buds are still in heaven! The rum runners will give you a little kick too. And if you’re lucky, Brian will be your server, he was great. If you’re in the St. Pete area, you definitely need to make it a point to get here!

I went here roughly a year ago, and still can’t believe I haven’t written a review. If I am at the beach, I am a junkie to find the best grouper sandwich I can. It doesn’t sound like a glamorous dish to search for. And as a person who was raised on New Orleans seafood, it still isn’t the best seafood out there(technically). Of course you can find great crawfish, oysters, or expensive fish that might have the overall seafood appeal. But the grouper sandwich has a very beachy feel to me. So when I go around sand and salt water, I hope to find a good one. First of all, the star rating does not compare to my experience. Not even close. This place could have could have served me on the dock with a watered down beer and I would still give it five stars. Blackened grouper sandwich… If you didn’t hear me… BLACKENEDGROUPERSANDWICH. Just do it. No questions asked. I still wake up in cold sweats wanting this sandwich again. They even sounded disappointed that it was ONLY brought in at 2:00PM that day for a 7:00PM dinner. That is freshness. I think the freshness was what really made it. That and being cooked to perfection. I really don’t remember anything else besides seeing a bunch of boats in a marina and some pretty friendly service. But the best part of the service was helping me decide on this sandwich. If you are on Treasure Island, this place is a must.
