Perfect breakfast/brunch stop. A quaint little café with plenty of options. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lactose free options available. Smells are incredible. Quiche is awesome. A must visit café!

Great old place for an eye opener on the bike. Nice people. This was a bar when I was a young man but now leans toward the restaurant side. Kinda wish we had eaten here to be honest.

I’m sitting here looking at the water. Looking at the Merry Pier 50 feet away with a sign that says Fresh Seafood. Right off the boat. So I sit down here at the Seahorse and inquire about the seafood options. I ask if it’s fresh. She says«nope, right off the truck, frozen». You’ve got to be kidding me. Really? Frozen fucking seafood when I can hear fish jumping within an earshot? Close up. Board up the windows. Give up and go home. If you’re not gonna try, neither am I. Embarrassing.

We decided to try out this restaurant as a Mothers Day breakfast, We arrived about 9am and it was pretty crowded, we were told there would be about a 15 minute wait we really wasn’t to bad at all so we walked across the street by the water to check out the pier, we heard our name called after about ten minutes. The inside was decorated in a water/beach theme and was very clean, we were seated right away and only waited about 1 minute before our waitress came over to take our orders. She was very polite and friendly. The food was your typical breakfast fare but was quite good and cooked perfect, truthfully, the only thing that was off was that it was very noisy, sounded like a huge cafeteria. we would return to sample other items, perhaps try the lunch menu and take a walk around the nice little beach community.

Food came out fast, but the server with the short red hair was very rude. We went with a large party and I wanted to pay for my sister and I. She didn’t ask how we were paying and handed the check to the only male with us. I asked her if she could split and put my sister and I on a separate bill and she didn’t even acknowledge me, but walked away and shook her head. Food is ok, servers are rude

This is favorite place for breakfast. We tried lunch today and it was just ok. The fries were just ok and the sandwiches were average. I ordered a slice of pecan pie since it’s my favorite and was completely annoyed and disappointed. Why would you serve it if it’s crappy!!! Gggrr lesson learned. Don’t order the pie from here anymore.

The wait staff was very friendly and the food was awesome. Really enjoyed spending the morning on Pass-a-grille grabbing some breakfast at this neat spot. Resonantly priced for good portion sizes.

Loved their breakfast! We sat on the patio & watched the dolphin play across the street. I got the shrimp & grits appetizer with an order of cuban bread. Absolutely superb! I even had enough left over for lunch! Highly recommend!

The place is very family oriented and has a great environment. The food was amazing. I had breakfast for my lunch. My son loved their blueberry pancakes and sausage. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a small place to eat with great service.

A hidden gem of a breakfast place! Love the outdoor patio with varnished picnic tables. Great place to sit outside and sip on your morning coffee while looking out onto the inner coastal! Old florida style charm with excellent service. Parking in Pass a grill can be difficult, especially on the weekends. Deal with it and walk from the beach in under 5 minutes. The grits here are a must try! YUM! Thank you and see you soon.

Upon recommendation from a friend regarding brunch options we ventured out to try the Sea Horse. I was pleased to see a cute little place on the water but was saddened by the serious lack of parking, although given the location I suppose it can’t be helped. We waited in the hot sun for a while and then were granted a shady spot when others were seated. We finally were called and were seated out on their«covered» patio. The only way I’ll sit out there again is during a Florida winter when I won’t sweat into my eggs. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs with bland cheese grits and a single pancake. I also had a mimosa which is the only cocktail they offer. Aside from the pancake, the food was kinda greasy with so-so flavor. I personally wasn’t impressed, but would go again if friends wanted to go.

Slightly disappointed after reading decent reviews on this place. We stopped in for an early breakfast before a day on St. Pete Beach. Note they don’t have a liquor license — we were disappointed when we couldn’t get Bloody Mary’s. The mimosas were ok but nothing special. I ordered the shrimp and grits which were also ok but didn’t blow me away. The portions were large. My fiancé ordered corned beef and hash. The corned beef hash tasted like the canned kind and the scrambled eggs were overdone. They also only have grape jam which is a little odd for a breakfast place. The views of the water are nice if you sit outside. We enjoyed that part and perhaps would try lunch or dinner there instead.

This restaurant is normally packed no matter what day it is. Unfortunately, we weren’t thinking and we decided to go for breakfast on the morning of Mother’s Day. There was a bit of a wait but the staff was turning through the tables quickly. We sat at the bar where we were immediately greeted warmly by Deb. Deb immediately could tell that I liked my mimosas made of a majority of sparkling with OJ on the side! I ordered a normal breakfast of two eggs, toast, with bacon. My date ordered the pancakes(which were gigantic) and the sausage. I am normally all about the bacon, but the sausage was fantastic and the pancakes were fabulous. Lenie, the hostess, was so funny and made our visit even more pleasureable! Stop by the Seahorse when you are in Pass-a-Grille, it is definitely worth the wait.
