St. Pete Beach Public Library

Last week the printer was not working and one of the library assistants was so RUDE, so demeaning. When I said the printer was not working she rudely said oh yes it is, did you do this, this, this, etc. I mentioned an error message that came up and she went off on me, telling me it was not the printer. However she went to exchange my coins for new ones. I am a professional and continued to be so throughout the conversation. I must admit I have not always had the most pleasant people working there, not sure if they are not happy with their job or what but I gave them the benefit of the doubt but this was the last straw! In my experiences when employees are rude this usually starts with management. When computers have been down here I have gone to the Gulfport library and everyone has always been very polite. I still am blown away how someone can treat another human being like this. I am new to St Pete Beach and not impressed!

Is this about the library or the beach? All four reviews talk about the beach, not the library. This needs to be changed. This is the loudest library I have ever been to, with loud telephone conversations at the computer terminals. That is not allowed at other branches. Library employees talking loudly for all to hear, why is that allowed? This is a small building, so all sound is amplified, not pleasant. Maybe they should be replaced. The British accent is the loudest, shut up

I had a very pleasant experience at this beach. It was my first visit during the Honda prix on a Friday. The beach was very clean and trash cans were every where. I came late in the afternoon and there was hardly anyone there. The water was very clear and the sand was soft no open bottles anywhere. There is a convenient parking lot and you an pay by the hour. There is also a publix right up front if you want to get any snacks or anything you might have forgotten. Definitely recommend coming here!

I love it here, nice place to visit and awesome farmers market on Sundays :)

We love this beach, it is easy to get to from Tampa and never over crowded. We recently went over Spring Break the last couple of years and it was nice. There are several restaurants you can easily walk to and best of all there is a beach vendor with blow up trampoline’s on the water for the kid’s to jump on! Other vendor’s are also there for cabana/​umbrella rental’s and various water sports.

Famous for it’s long powdery sandy white beach, on the gulf coast of Florida, the City of St. Pete Beach is a tourist hot spot. My brief impression was positive, with everything being clean and well-​maintained, and my interactions with locals were friendly (the South in general is so much politer than the rest of the US). The beach really is truly spectacular! I can understand why it is home to «winter migrants» with 30% of residents claiming their primary residence elsewhere. On a Sunday morning, there was a bit of traffic with lines at the toll booths on the Pinellas byway.
