United Nail and Spa

Our wedding party made a reservation and the morning we showed up they acted as though they didn’t know we were coming and once inside they rushed all of us. The pedicure bowls were dirty and they used no liners for sanitation purposes, the bride had a photo and her nails turned out nothing like the photo and had to redo them herself at our rental house. Would never go back

The lady that did my nails was very skilled and efficient, and the arm massage was really relaxing. I would go again!

If I could give them a half star I would. Came here with a bridal party to get manicures and pedicures. Since we were the first customers in the door, the staff was initially attentive but then as soon as more customers started coming in, they began to rush on our hands and feet. The job was done quickly with no attention to detail. The bride decided to have a French gel manicure which was done sloppily. We took a picture of her hands to see how it would look photographed and her cuticles were horrendous (see photo). Went back to have them fix her hands and you could cut the air with all the attitude they had. They attempted to fix her nails but it still wasn’t done properly. Probably paid about 50 plus tip ((they have a sign that says no refunds)). We did not want to further upset the bride so we just decided to leave and go to another nail shop. Thankfully we found Emmys hair and nail shop down the road where this wonderful gentleman fixed it all. He removed the first gel manicure, redid her gel French manicure and voila, her nails and cuticles were classy, clean and presentable (see second photo). Save yourself the poor nail job at this spot and go elsewhere.

Worst place ever! The service is good but the finished product is garbage! I have given this place multiple tries with multiple people, and every time I leave disappointed. I would not recommend anyone go here .
Acrylics fall off within days of getting them, the nail polish chips or is completely off manicured toes within days as well.
The service is exceptional but the products they use are cheap and do not hold up.
It tends to be averagely priced but I always leave mad that I wasted my money. I get acrylics and every time I leave I have to go home and get nail polish off the cuticles of my skin, or go reshape them because it’s not what I asked for. Very disappointed with this place!

I’ve got a wonderful mani & pedi there today! Friendly staff, good price, incredible massage chair and foot hot tub. I love it! Tomorrow is my wedding and I’m glad I went there. The gel done on my broken index nail to make it longer looks beautiful too. It all took less than 1 hour! I’ll definitely go back there.

I was looking for a new nail place and asked two separate people whose nails I liked where they got them done, and they both said united nails! They charge a little more than some other places, but it’s worth it. Every time I go, I walk out feeling like my nails are the prettiest they’ve ever been!

I hesitated coming after reading the bad reviews, but I looked in and saw there were plenty of customers. So I took a chance and am glad I did. Great mani/​pedi for $ 35. Would definitely go again if I get back here.

Awful! Worst pedicure I ever got, no attention to my dry heels. I am a local, I will never send anyone here. I called to complain, they didn’t seem to care much. Why bother attitude!

Terrible, painful gel manicure; okay gel pedicure. After soaking my nails, the technician used the drummel tool to sand my nails instead of scraping off the old polish. In the middle of it, another technician was indicating that she needed to scrape my nails instead of sanding it, but my manicurist blew her off. The result was my once strong nails are growing in, but are paper thin and ripping (very painful). Also, after paying $ 70 for the service, I went back to complain to the owner and he was argumentative. None of the tools were sanitized. I won’t return.

This place used to be awesome. However, the last few times that I went in there they have not been helpful AT ALL. I felt like everyone was staring at me wondering why I was in there in the first place! Awkward! I asked for a manicure and he laughed and said you should have acrylic put on! (I have short nails) I was embarassed but gave him the benefit of the doubt since english is not his first language and just maybe he didnt realize he was being rude. The next time I went in for a wax and they literally waxed me right in the middle of the salon in front of everyone! The room was being occupied so she had to do it there. I am not sure why i let them do that! They can be very pushy once your in there. And once again that was VERY embarassing! I have seen them take calls and people ‘think’ they making an appointment but your really not. They take walk ins and if they get there before your supposed appointment you will wait. So brides beware! And of you are a group, dont expect to be done at the sametime or get spa like treatment. Best to call London Spa or the Don Csar.

Very disappointed with this place. In town for my wedding, I called 3 days ahead to make an appointment for me (bride) and my 3 bridesmaids. I don’t know about my other girls, but my experience was awful. They didn’t even start me first. They started my bridesmaids first and I had to wait to the next technician to be available. Finally they start on my pedicure. It was boring, no massage or anything. And my toe polish chipped the next day (sadly before my honeymoon). Then they started on my nails. They were decent. But when we removed the gel polish 2 weeks later it had completely torn up my nails. And I’ve been getting Gel polish for 2 years now and this hasn’t happened. On top of it all, it was crazy over priced for the service we received.

This place is ok, I question if they are sanitary but if you pay 35 $ for a manicure /​pedicure than you get for what you pay for.

I went for a Pedi for my birthday. The worst experience! Just when the woman was getting ready to do my massage, she was distracted by some man at the counter. She ignored me for a good 10 minutes talking to him. Meanwhile, my husband was next to me getting a foot/​leg massage the whole time. When she finally got back to me, she just polished my nails & sent me on my way, no apology. I will never return!

Awesome pedicure… great service, very friendly… had a pedicure while on vacation and not only were they great, but my legs were moisturized the whole week from the treatment as well. I called before I went, and they welcomed me to come 45 minutes before they closed and they didnt rush the service… price was great…$ 25 each… well worth it… I will be back…

Loved this place! I’m from Philly and was looking around online for a place to go for a mani-​pedi but then just stumbled upon United. Basic mani-​pedi included arm/
calf massage and hot towels. My nails look great and the customer service was excellent! The best part was the price…$ 35 for what many salons around charge double for. If I ever come back to the area I’ll be sure to come back.

We (vacationers in St. Pete’s) were looking for a great nail salon with reasonable prices, and discovered this salon. Sweet employees and great prices. Did a great job for the price.
