Bar Milo

One of the most chill spots in DTSP. There’s actual elbow room on a weekend night.

Just got over charged for our bill by the manager and he keeps avoiding talking to us about the matter.

Underage drinking and people doing cocaine in the bathroom. The staff is extremely rude. I will not be going back.

Bar Milo is one of my favorite spots in downtown St. Pete. It’s a cute hole in the wall bar and you are able to get away from the crowds on the weekends. The cocktails are top notch. Best craft cocktail bar in the area. Lance is a really great bartender, his cocktails are delicious. Max, the owner, is always welcoming and remembers faces. Definitely a great atmosphere and a perfect place to come with friends or even alone.

Don’t open a tab here. The bartender doesn’t tell you that you’re paying for doubles and if one of the employees there tell you he’s buying you a drink, don’t let him because they end up charging *you* for the drink instead on the account of his coworker being drunk. Five amaretto cranberries (two of the five drinks were «free») cost us a total 77 bucks. Not worth.

I have been frequenting Bar Milo for years to enjoy the pleasurable drinking atmosphere. The bar is located on the corner of central and 3^rd st n in downtown st pete and has the best view of all of downtown. Pricing is fair, the drinks are amazing and the bartenders are super fun and polite. A place I would suggest to anyone looking for a good time.

A great little spot to getaway from the craziness of the 200 block in downtown stpete. Amazing ambiance, with knowledgable bartenders who specialize in their craft. The musically inclined dj’s and craft cocktails make for a wonderful evening escape from what can be a crazy night in downtown.

Right on the corner of Central and 3^rd st it’s a perfect location to come in and converse with some friends.
Smoking is allowed inside and not too overwhelming unless you’re sitting next to someone who is.
Liquor and cocktail selection is one of the best I have seen in the area, specializing in whiskeys and tequilas. The speciality cocktail menu has great offerings including, my favorite, the new fashioned. Price is more than fair, some of the best prices for the quality I have seen.
Beer selection is definitely quality over quantity, limited amount of items that are all great beers.
There is always a deal every night of the week including $ 2.25 wells some nights.
Music is always fun, interesting décor, very relaxing space and a nice pool table and silver strike to challenge your friends at.

Recently I just started frequenting this bar and it has become a staple in Downtown St Pete culture. As an avid whiskey connoisseur, they hands down offer the most quality over quantity. Top 3 go-to’s are Angels Envy, Sazrac and Templeton.
Unpretentious, cozy and welcoming. The staff is top notch with a wealth of knowledge and eager to make recommendations for the indecisive mind. Local DJ’s are a cornerstone of the appeal.
Depending on what week it is and what my bank account reflects, my budget always works here. Bar Milo has a specific niche in an already flourishing downtown market. This is the place that no matter local, traveler, transient or business man, this bar appeals to all walks of life.

I wish the bar staff was as cute as the décor! All the staff seemed really unfriendly, I think they were serving tall glasses of bad attitude. The spot is pretty cute, the patio/​sidewalk seating is quaint with great lighting. Fix the grumpy staff and its a nice evening drink spot.

Pricing depends on who you are.

I wanted to like Bar Milo, I really did. Having moved to St. Pete recently, Im always looking for cool bars to go to, with a great drink selection and décor to match. With it’s wall of whiskey, good music, and dark lighting, I thought it would be a great experience. That was until I actually ordered a drink and had to converse with the bartender. I asked about the 2 dollar happy hour that was specifically advertised and was told that there was no more happy hour. All of the people that came in after me were gladly offered the special and even offered more. My boyfriend had the audacity to ask him why I wasn’t given the same courtesy and immediately the bartender got extremely defensive and threatened to kick him out simply for asking. Not only that, but his crew if hipster cronies mocked and surrounded not only him but me in a threatening manner after me not only not saying a word but looking visibly upset. Needless to say, we won’t be going back again. And unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen, you shouldn’t either.
