This is a city pool, part of the Parks & Rec department in St. Pete. It has 25 yard lanes, a twisty slide tube area, and a low and high dive. There is also a large baby pool area. Public swimming is from 1 – 4 p.m. and the rest of the time is devoted to swimming lessons, swim team, and masters swimming. There are mens and ladies changing rooms available. They sell ice cream from the office and have vending machines for gatorade, water, and snacks. There are two covered areas for spectators with a few picnic tables. My kids love this pool because of the high-dive. There is no lap swimming available during public swim, due to the diving well and tube slide areas being roped off.
