Salon Lofts

I am in St. Pete visiting a friend after having spent the last five months in Haiti. My hair was a mess. Five months of Sun, salt, sweat and dirt turned my curls into what looked like a baked birds nest! The color was white roots and the rest was a horrible brassy redish color. I made the appointment with Maria Garvey while I was still in Haiti knowing it needed some TLC on my return.
After taking the time to talk to me about what I wanted and me giving her vague answers making me sound like a hair stylists worst nightmare she managed to fix my color and give me exactly what I was badley trying to describe. She said «I know what to do» and I let her do it.
It came out PERFECT… and the cut is one of the best I have had in years too.
I am considering a move to this area and if I do I know I have a finding stylist all taken care off!

I agree with what Kelleigh said about Roth Rim. She does a fabulous job and is super nice! Every time I go there I feel pampered and the end results are the best that I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend her to anyone I know.

Salon lofts is just what Caroline said it was… individual beauty salons all under one roof.
Today I saw Roth Rim for a relaxing pedicure and shellac manicure.
It was quite relaxing and nice to be in the salon all by myself.
Her chair’s massage was one of the best I’ve had and her nail polish selection was extensive.
I felt completely comfortable there. I read one of her magazines during the pedicure part and had a great conversation during the Mani part.
The finished product was high quality-​my feet look great, the legs are nice and smooth and my shellac manicure is perfect. I would definitely recommend Roth Rim @Salon Lofts.

Maria Garvey is an amazing stylist. She is thorough, taking the time to really discuss what kind of look you want and the needs of your hair. She has a knack for successfully creating the perfect look for your personality and lifestyle!

Salon Lofts is a large professional space divided up into many individual «lofts», each of which is like a mini-​salon. So rather than the stylist (or manicurist or whatever the particular proprietor is) having to rent a space in a salon, it is like they have their own small salon. Each salon has a separate entrance and is decorated to the taste of the individual proprietor. It’s kind of fun to walk through the building and see how all of the different salons are decorated.
The entire space is super nice, clean, and new. Also, they have a coffee machine!
I love Stacy Brown, in Loft #7 at Salon Lofts on 4^th Street. She is fun to talk to, always does a great job on my hair, and doesn’t do any hard-​sell on products (which I HATE). She also cuts my 10 year old’s hair (he has a long, slacker, emo, tween aesthetic going on, which the barber couldn’t handle) and does a great job with his hair as well.
Stacy has been cutting my hair for many years now, and I highly recommend her!
