I’m only here for the day, but the place was closed because of a doctors appointment. It wouldn’t have been a big deal; however, while walking a few blocks to the location, I had sold my stomach in having a hot dog.

This place defies every ounce of logic. It is unbelievably good. It looks like a little dive, but I am telling you that the food is absolutely incredible. The Chili Dogs (go jumbo) are some of the best I have ever tasted. I wish I would have discovered Hot-​Dog Alley sooner, and will eat there at least once, every time I visit the island.

Best little whole in the wall on the island! You can feed the kids cheap, the hot dogs are delicious! No air conditioning but it’s always fast and delicious! Easy walk from the pier.

My kids and I think this place is the best. ANd they look forward to returning (it seems like every day) ever August when we return to SSI.
Ketchup and Mustard dog, chili cheese dog, kraut and mustard dog, or even a plain dog for the doggie. It’s all good!

Saint Simons Island, GA
Hot Dog Alley is located in the St Simons Island Village right across the street from the Hodnett Cooper Real Estate office. They have by far the Best Hot Dog on the Island. I usually get mine grilled and loaded with chile, cheese, sauerkraut, onions, relish and jalapenos. They also serve a soup of the day, hamburgers and various sandwiches. I normally get my dogs and head to the picnic area near the Pier and Fun Zone and listen to the waves.
