The new concession stand is fantastic, the staff is helpful and fast. They offer pizza and pretzels now and both are really good.

It is nice and clean. They have a little trouble posting correct show times for big releases but that is okay. The problem with this place is the sound! Honestly the computer I am typing on provides louder, richer sound than I experienced while watching The Force Awakens. That was a pretty big let down. Service and prices were very good.

This is truly a show place. The sound is excellent. The theater is comfortable and the setting is professional. This is where you want to be when out to see a film either by yourself or with a group.
There are only 5 stars to give here but they deserve 10!

Great experience at Island Cinemas this weekend! Clean theater with great customer service and a top-​notch viewing experience. Very comfy seats too!

Georgia Theater Company Island Cinemas is a big name for the small the movie theater located on the Island; but they do a good job with the 7 screens they have. With so much other stuff to do on SSI the Island doesn’t really need a big theater. When we were visiting it was a really «gully washer» of a rain storm and since most activities we usually enjoy are outside we decided to give GTC Island Cinemas a chance and check out a new release.
The staff here are super nice and do a great job from selling you tickets at the box office, concessions at the snack bar, to directing to you to the theater of your movie from the ticket taker. They keep the theater super clean throughout.

The only movie theater on the island and they do a good job. There aren’t many screens (can’t remember exactly…) so it feels like new releases are quickly gone but every time I’ve gone here it’s been enjoyable.

Nice place but don’t bother purchasing tickets ahead of time on Fandango, you will still have to stand in the long line to pick up your tickets. Not worth it.
