Five Guys Burgers and Fries

We love this place — and the staff are always nice and friendly. We treat ourselves to one of their delicious burgers and fries once a month, and it’s worth every calorie!

Love five guys. This place is always on the busier side being in this major shopping center but there’s a reason. They’re good. Staff is always friendly & food always delicious. They even have milkshakes (not all five guys have these) all in all always a pleasant experience when I go.

Great burgers, great service, free peanuts and our 5 Guys even has shakes. Woop. Woop.

What can I say about 5 guys. Their burgers are great!!! You can customize any way you want. I definitely love the Cajun fries and we can’t forget about the peanuts. Lol. Their prices are a bit high but it’s worth it. This place beats both McDonald’s and Burger King combine. Yay 5 guys.

If you have not had 5 guys by now then I would ask you what you were in prison for. The burgers, hot dogs, fries and shake are always good. I was really excited to try the shakes and then give you so many options. I recommend bacon, salted caramel and peanut butter as a shake.

I’ve been to many Five Guys in the VA area, and there is just something about this one that makes it stand out. Each time I’m there the restaurant looks as clean as a hospital, the guys/​gals working the counter are friendly, my burger is served hot and just as I ordered it, and the fries are perfectly salty and almost overflowing from the bag. I’ve gotta give a huge amount of credit to the owner, who you often times see working the line with this employees, because it’s clear to see that he runs a tight shift.
If I can suggest something to guests who are unfamiliar with the Five Guys code: put a dollar+ in the tip jar, and make sure the cashier sees it. If you do this at a Five Guys that follows the code, you’ll get an extra scoop (or two) of fries topping off your bag. I do it every time, and without fail I get more fries than I can usually handle. Not that I don’t try! ;-)

Came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! This place is reminiscent of In n Out.
Ordered: veggie sandwich with hot sauce, bacon cheese burger, and a milkshake with oreo, cherry, and sea salt caramel.
Pros
— Fresh ingredients. There was a sign that indicated where the fresh cut potato fries came in from. I think on the day we went in, the potatoes came in from Idaho (no surprise there). The veggies in my sandwich were fresh and grilled right there rather than cooked earlier, sitting there for a while, and then scooped out.
— Cleanliness. You can see the open kitchen. The countertops and grill is clean and well maintained. You can see how the employees maintain a good standard.
— Good portions at good prices! I don’t like sharing fries with my fiancé, because he’s eats so much and so fast, so I insisted that we order a large order of fries. They came in a large cup and I’m pretty certain the staff scooped in an extra scoop of fries into our bag, which was way cool! It was definitely enough for myself and my fiancé.
— Helpful and friendly staff. It was our first time there and the guy who took our order was helpful in answering our questions and wasn’t pushy when my fiancé was undecided on his milkshake.

I sent 5 guys and email about an order online andthe burger was only warm but the other was hot. Some kid saw my email, and responded that it was impossible since everythng is made fresh. Well, helloo, i wrote a f*ing complaint becauseit was NOT alright. So i demanded he send my email to management and one of the owners responded with an offer for a free meal. Why would i go back for that? I told him to give a gift card to a US Mrine at the recruiting station next to the restaurant and he said he would. So ok, i will give you another star but the burger was NOT HOT. Done with that!

Small chain restaurant with burgers and fries cooked to order. Friendly staff, quality food. This isn’t your daddy’s fast food restaurant.

Everyone knows Five Guys makes the best burgers in the country. If you want a good burger this is your franchise! However, this particular location has never gotten our order right. It’s not a hard order with a lot on it, just ketchup and mushrooms and just ketchup. More often then not we get mustard in there too (yuck), and the mushrooms get forgotten a lot. At first I thought both start with «m» so someone just didn’t read carefully but the receipt actually says «shrooms» so that’s not it.

Five Guys. That’s all you have to say and I start drooling. I love this location because all of the cashiers and cooks are incredibly friendly! I’ve had In-​N-​Out and this comes fantastically close in my book! Best burger chain on the east coast, hands down!

This was my first time back to a 5 guys in about 5 years or so. This time i got a regular hotdog and it was SO good! Something about their splitting and grilling it made it so crunchy and yummy.

I’m a Cali girl and loyal to In N Out and Nations, but damn this place has good burgers.

FAT CITY! Good stuff!

I had lunch there today and I am so full I can’t get up. I don’t think I will be able to eat the whole weekend to make up for those fries.

Simplicity & QUALITY is what makes this place the best burger joint. Kind of pricey. A cheese burger, fries, & a drink was $ 10 & change.

Excellent quality every time. The toppings for the burgers are the best around, and always fresh. The grilled cheese sandwich is a lesser known menu item, but always part of our order.
This particular Five Guys is fairly large inside, and always clean (even though they have boxes of peanuts for cracking and eating). Seating available outside as well.
