Got THE WORST manicure from a man here. At the end of it he said «oh well, i got the polish on your nails at least!» And laughed. Like it was his first time. And then tried to over charge me.

Always great service, no waiting and they do a fabulous mani/​pedi. I always do both ‘classic’ for $ 37. Plus the salon is gorgeously decorated, very clean and relaxing! Love this place!

Horrible, Horrible, place is dirty! Staff is rude, unprofessional! Not welcoming! I would never even leave my dog to be groomed there. Went for a pedicure with my daughter, massage chair was broke, asked to be moved they got mad because we wanted to be moved together. Once we were moved I asked if my water could be warmer, and the nail tech yelled at me saying that they can’t have everything perfect… WHAT??? He continued to yell saying that we are the ones that had to move and it was our fault that that things weren’t right. All I asked for was my massage chair to work and warm water. Spoke with management, all they did was apologize but didn’t offer any solution. Will never go back. Please don’t waste your energy or money.

I visited the salon for the first time to get a manicure. When I walked in I was greeted in a friendly welcoming manner. When I was asked what service I was seeking, I responded manicure, I was suggested to get a Gel Manicure and I agreed. I was asked if I would like Paraffin for additional $ 6 and I kindly declined. Technician was great, I am satisfied with my manicure however she gave paraffin without asking. When finished, I went to register to be charged for paraffin $ 7, even though I declined, I paid for it since it was administered. Also, they don’t accept tip on the credit card, and they suggest you using their ATM which isn’t convenient. I sadly had to leave without tipping technician since salon was closing and time was limited.

So after writing my 5 star review of this place, I have been disappointed twice. The first time I came in in the middle of the day (like 1:00PM) and it was pretty empty (which is why I went at this time, I thought I would have no wait)…I went for a fill. I signed in and was told to «pick a color», I did and then I waited, waited, waited… waited, and then I went up to the counter and asked how much longer and the owners wife (Julie) said «Oh, I didn’t see you but I will take you». Okay :) We sit down to do my fill and she is very negative about my nails (which I had done here 2 weeks prior) and says who did these? I tell her, I also say how much I liked him. She said they were done poorly and she needed to remove all of them, I did not want all of my nails removed (it hurts!) and did not feel that she needed to remove them but she was adamant, so I agreed. I was then talked into the pink and white and I liked how they looked on the model she showed me. Well, removing my nails that didn’t need removing was very painful. She also cut the sides of two of my fingers with her file, there is NO PINK part (just regular acrylic and white), and they are ALL lifting after 2 weeks! She also told me that she is the only one who can do pink and white nails and it takes great skill to do them, and her other techs are not capable of it. The second time was this last week when I went in to get a fill and a pedicure. The pedicure was great, then they left me waiting and waiting and waiting for the fill again… I went to the counter, paid, and left. There are plenty of places to get your nails done, where you are a priority.

I visited today for the first time and was not thrilled. Décor is very outdated, random papers tapped all over the walls, and somewhat dingy making it hard to relax.
I received a basic mani and pedi. The pedi was ok, nothing special.
The experience getting a mani was horrible. My nail technician, Christina, was not attentive and didn’t talk at all even though I tried to start conversation. She was looking all around, not paying attention and even filed one hand twice without doing the other. When it was time to pay, she told me $ 36 but then charged me $ 47. When I said something, she said «No, it’s correct.» Until I asked someone else, she fixed it.
The big kicker, at the end of the mani and last thing she said to me was, «Don’t mess up your nails because I have another customer waiting and I won’t have time to fix it.»
Bottom line, drive a few extra miles to get your nails done at Escape Salon in Stafford.

Very disappointed with this place. My sister and I went to get our nails done, both French. Hers chipped the next day & mine 2 days later. I had fullest acrylic with French color & $ 39.00 with that 20% off was defiantly not worth it. It seems like the nail technician who did my sisters nail didn’t take pride in her work at all .
The lady did not even take time to make the French lines all the same ?? She didn’t even file the nails all to look the same either.?? I don’t know what is going on over there but that salon & spa will not be open much longer with certain ppl working for them. Disappointed. I’m very picky about my nails & I only go to one place and one nail guy in Bethesda, Maryland called «Nail Studio» his name is Hai and he does my nails perfectly and the polish stays on for over 2 weeks. All the time, every time.

I’m not quite sure why my post don’t appear for Imperial Salon. I just have to say I totally enjoy getting my nail done here. Everyone takes great care of me as soon as I walk in. I have had my nails done by Som or Don every two weeks for the past year and ½. I’ll let the photo speak for itself! I once went to another hi end nail salon for years, and my pedicures were nice. But they couldn’t get my nails right, and constantly pressured me to spend more for add ons. I found Som (-:
I’m on a budget, so I can afford every two weeks and give her a nice tip.
She focuses on ME, not gossiping with coworkers while I’m there. I appreciate that, a lot. I could never understand why people tolerated getting their nails done and the girls doing their nails talk to the one next to her the whole time, in a foreign language, to boot. I’ve never been treated that way here.
That’s why I choose Imperial.

This is a high end spa/​nail salon. The building is huge but wait until you walk inside it gets better. Went with my mother in law who had an appointment. I was hoping they would have time to squeeze me in since she told it gets busy. All I wanted was my nails painted and a pedicure. Basic stuff right? This place is clean and looked nice with the décor and setup. I waited about 10 minutes, I was offered water. The receptionist was nice. I was reading some magazines to keep me occupied in the meantime until I was called in. The lady who was working on my pedicure was a little bit rough scrubbing the heels of my feet, until I turned on the massager on my chair and was able to relax. It seemed that the tubs were cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis I didn’t see anything alarming. I got a french tip for my toes and was pleased with it. The same girl did my nails, she acted like she didn’t know what to do which made me nervous. She spilt the bowl where I put my fingers in to take the nail polish, she kept searching for the tools needed– nail filier, clippers, etc. She kept leaving the room i’m assuming to check on other clients. It seemed like I was waiting forever at least I had TV to watch. I was getting impatient until she finally came and did my nails. I was satisfied with the outcome. She did massage my hands with lotion which felt good, and made up for the wait and other things. Once the lady gives me my bill I’m pretty shocked to see a total of $ 56. I think that was pretty ridiculous for what seemed liked basic stuff I could have done myself, but I wanted to be pampered for the day. $ 23 for regular painted nails no shellac, and spa pedicure was $ 33. They charge way too much. I noticed the spa pedicure price on their price list and was ok with it, and assumed my nails would be $ 5 – 10 since I didn’t see it on the paper. My advice make sure to confirm prices and not assume.

Every time I come, it’s even better than the last! And they have the most extensive collection of polishes around, I love variety!

I’m here right now getting the most painful pedicure of my life. This was after the most painful eyebrow waxing of my life.
Worth mentioning that they basically picked my color for me. I was about to get in the chair when some other guy told me to go pick a color when the girl said «you don’t want red?» Like that was the default color for manicures. So strange.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. First we were put on a waiting list and told they would call us when ready, they never did. I asked for a gel French tip. She cut me twice. When I asked to cut my nails shorted she got in a mini argument with me saying they wouldn’t look good. Then when I asked for more white on the tip, seeing as how you could hardly see it she argued with me again. When she was finished she just walked away. I had no idea I was done, where to pay or if she was coming back. So I sat there like an idiot for a good 5 min. The gel was all over my skin, had bumps/​bubbles. Wanted to treat myself for my baby shower, I need up taking them off before my event. HORRIBLE!

Wow this place has so many bad reviews! I’ve been here once with a friend who was getting her eyebrows waxed and she swears by this place. I decided to bring my daughter here so we could get pedi’s and although it seemed like they were rushing, both of our toes turned out great! I will return!

I’ve been here a few times but never feel a friendly vibe. The staff always act as if I owe them something. I don’t think they understand the concept of real customer service.
Their pedicure massages feel lighter than a feather. I think I’d get more of a benefit if they actually stroke a feather up and down my leg vs. using their hands.
This place has a lot of potential because it’s very spacious however, I don’t feel management has done a good job with the decorating or keep up with the zen feeling.
There is a beautiful water fountain with fish in the pond however, it has never been on every time I’ve been there.
They DO NOT accept tip on credit so be sure to take cash with you. I’ve notice this to be a trend at a lot of spas recently.
Dear Management– please look into getting your pedicure chairs repaired. I barely felt my massage and the chair was rattling pretty bad.

I came here on a whim to get my nails & toes done. The place is very nice looking. I was talked into getting the most expensive pedicure. It was in a nicer private room. & the give you a fruit plate & something to drink. It was nice.
I brought my own polish & told her I wanted to see if she could do. Sort of like a French. I saw it, didn’t like it with my color & asked if she can just paint my whole nail. She kept saying how nice it was.
Then I got a manicure. Different girl. I brought a white brand new bottle of polish. She did a horrible job making it streaky. & was so sloppy with the polish. I swear she used a ¼ of the bottle. It looked so bad. I ended up picking a color off the wall because it was close to closing and I felt pressured to leave.
Then when paying was told they don’t put tips on the card. & that you HAVE to use their ATM not cool. I spent over 100 $ to not be that happy. I won’t be going back.

I get manicures and pedicures here all the time everyone I’ve had did a great job. The location itself is calming and serene, I would definitely recommend Spa to anyone.

Really disappointed. I used to love this place, but they’re so disorganized and unreliable. I came in earlier in the day but was told it was going to be a wait, so I made an appointment so I could have lunch. Came back at my appointed time, waiting for a bit, waited again and finally got brought back to the chair. Waited another 10 minutes and at 30 minutes past my appointment, I decided it was time to leave. No one offered to make thing right – which is fine, the front desk staff seemed over worked. But I won’t be back here.

Yeah… I won’t be back! Received a gift certificate and thought I would give them another shot… bad idea. Jasmine was great for the facial… kind of made up for her late arrival. The young lady who did my my massage was very bad! I can’t tell you her name because she was so soft spoken throughout the experience. Excessive oil, very little massage knowledge– it was obvious by the repetitive movements in the same body area and I had to tell her repeatedly that I was cold, yet no change in temperature the entire time. My visual for you is a greased pig in ice. The pedicure was nice however the poor guy had a near-​argument with a peer because he thought he was doing the wrong pedicure! Very unprofessional. Manicure to follow — hoping for the best but so thankful I did not actually pay today. you would think they would try harder to impress, given the completion. I imagine they won’t be around in 1 year.

Absolute worst business and lack of professionalism. The owner’s wife, as talked about in other reviews, is very rude and not friendly at all. When talking to her, she made me wait 45 minutes. Not even to have any work done, just to talk to her. She couldn’t understand me, so she had to bring her husband in to translate what I was saying. Mid talk, she decided to pick up a phone call and talk for 25 minutes. Was completely and utterly shocked at how rude she was and how much of an attitude she had. Owners treat their employee very rude, employees have shared that they are afraid of them. HIGHLY advise that you stay away from this place, whether it’s a job, waxing, pedicure, or manicure. Very, very, very angry. Only gave it a one star because there is no lower option.

WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! I’ve been here 3 times. The first time I told the lady I only had 2 hours for a pedi and hopefully a mani if there was time. She took the two full hours for a pedicure, only she spent half the time complaining about the receptionists. Oh, and the lady doing my pedi was the owner/​owners wife. Didn’t get my mani due to lack of time and the owner lady got pissy with me when I explained that due to her screwing around I no longer had time.
2^nd time I went I had a fantastic experience minus being badgered for an up-​sell. I made it very clear what I wanted but they still tried.
Today: I went in again for a pedi. I was told to wait a bit but I would be helped. No biggie, I didn’t mind. In that time a customer came up complaining about something to do with a massage. I don’t know the outcome but I did hear the one receptionist talking all kinds of crap about the customer once she left. A good 5 minutes worth if crap talking. I set my polish down and left.
They either think people don’t understand them or can’t hear them because I have yet to go in this place when they weren’t smack talking someone, either customers or receptionists. I will never be back. Don’t let the nice décor fool you.
*To the people that work here, please stop messaging me about how you got a new technician. I don’t care and one technician isn’t going to change your crappy business practices.
