Came to watch the Texans game with a buddy for the first time. Hooked ever since local to my house in Missouri city great beer prices. The wings are good for being from a bar. Only bad thing is the bad odor of smoke. But it’s a bar, definitely going to be coming back and recommend to anybody.

Pros: free play arcade games, pretty cheap pitchers of beer (including Fat Tire and Blue Moon), great staff, a huge screen for watching sports, pool tables, a very big space.
Cons: Forgot I was in Stafford until I realized that people were smoking in the bar (they even sell cigarettes in the vending machine inside). I know this would be a draw for some people, but as a person who gets headaches from the smell of cigarette smoke, I might choose not to return for this reason.
Definitely divey, but if you don’t mind cigarette smoke, it’s a pretty cool place to grab a beer. (You can also order food from next door and they bring it over — our friends got wings, but they also have pizza and other items.)

This place is like a garage made into a bar. It’s actually pretty bad ass and has a good layout. My complaint is they hardly ever have more then 2 bartenders and no waitresses. I love the bar and the atmosphere and the clientele but its takes forever to get a drink if your not at the bar in the middle in front of the bartender. If you are at a table expect to always have to get up every single time you need a drink. I would have gave one star because of this but the bartenders are working hard they just can’t serve 70 people with only 2 bartenders and no waitress in site.

My friend aptly described it as a clean dive bar. Cheap pitchers. Tons of games, including pool, air hockey, foosball, giant jenga, shuffleboard, darts and even board games. Giant projector is perfect for Astros or Rockets games. They’re also paired up with the pizza place next door that keeps their kitchen open until 3AM for deliveries. Overall a great place to hang out with friends. Oh and did I mention that there’s free pool on Sunday?

Downgraded to one star. My sister and I gave this place another chance because it is close to where we were staying. The service was worse than it was during our previous visit. We left after one drink because getting a second one seemed impossible. They were not busy. There was no reason to receive such horrible service on either visit. The bartender was rude. I highly recommend avoiding this place.

1^st time we were there the drinks were pretty weak, the music was good and the place wasn’t bad. 2^nd time the bartender was drunk and was really mean, she was about to break down in tears and had a really bad attitude. I didn’t mind that much until I saw my bank statement. STUPID B**** CHARGED EXTRA $ 40 TO MY DEBIT CARD!!! My friends were also charged extra and the drinks she served were awful, only the beer was ok. They need to pay extra attention to who they hire.

Stopped here for drink after a very long Tuesday. Typical bar with pool tables, TVs, etc… Not too loud, and the place was pretty empty. They had my drink of choice, but did not have my sister’s. Bartender was friendly, when she came around, but she let me run out of water. A definite «no no» when serving a shot drinker. They get 3 stars because of convenience and my sister could smoke.

Went here to grab a drink and bartender didn’t want to accept a passport as a form of ID because it wasn’t valid? Um, last I checked passports were government issued, even more assured than state issued licenses. Maybe need to re-​educate your bartenders. Will never step foot into this place ever again. Good luck trying to bring up your business with staff like the moron bartender. ;-)

The best nights are Monday and Tuesday if you have their pint glasses (purchased there).you can get a brew really cheap and listen to karaōke and/​or play pool and listen to music. Nice place to have a cold one after a long day and hang with friends. The only drawback is smoking is still allowed inside… but we can’t win them all.

Came here with a few friends last night. Most of us live in the SL/​MoCity area and wanted a place that wasn’t too far. My friend passes this place all the time so we decided to give it a try.
The space is pretty nice. Ample tvs all around and a huge projection screen in the main room. Pool tables and arcade games scattered around. I love darts and was pleased to find they have dartboards in the back! Just ask a bartender for the darts. Other entertainment: Shuffleboard, 2×4 Jenga set, XBox, and even saw a few Connect 4 sets behind the bar, which is sure to be interesting with a couple drinks in you.
It wasn’t very crowded when I went. Everyone was pretty friendly and just having a good time. There’s also a patio if you prefer lounging outdoors.
The bartenders were great. Very friendly and quick on the drinks. Like other reviewers mentioned, the drink prices are decent and the quality is good. Did not have any food so can’t say anything about that. Shout out to Meredith for taking care of us that night! Will be coming back.

I thought this place rocked! I wished they would have had a better happy hour but they made up for it with accessories. FREE PLAY ARCADE GAMES, FREE POOL AND WELL yeah… a stage for live music, tons of televisions and a projector… etc etc… THE BLOODY MARY’S WERE THE BEST I’VE EVER TASTED .but I think they were alcohol free (lacking on the vodka) or something… but delicious…

I think it’s funny how alot of reviews complain about the smoke when that’s one of the main reasons my friends go. Personally, I’m not a smoker and I don’t mind it at all. The drinks are cheap and strong, the crowd is good, the staff is friendly, and the bands are loud. Oh, and the arcade machines are on Free Play.
Even karaōke nights are pretty fun. Most of the people singing sing older songs rather than newer pop songs.

Nice little neighborhood bar. It’s got lots of pool tables and a huge projection screen. The jukebox is freeplay, so that’s nice. I usually go on Saturday nights and wish they would get some kind of entertainment in there on those nights. A couple of years ago, they used to have bands or karaōke, but I haven’t seen anything lately. It’s still a nice place to have a cheap drink. Since I live so close, it’s usually my first choice to go out for a drink. The staff is usually pretty nice, but it seems that every other time I go there, there’s a different bartender.
And to those complaining about the smoke, if you don’t like it, why do you go there?

I have been to Pourhouse a handful of times. I am not fond of the smoking but I do like that its close to home!

I came here to hang with some friends and watch one of the basketball games. The place is fairly new so everything was clean inside. TVs were all around the bar with a fair amount of pool tables and a couple of old school arcades with free play. There was a projection screen on one of the walls with the game being projected. It’s pretty big so I found this to be pretty awesome.
The drinks here are pretty cheap. They offer this wristband special that costs $ 5 for a wristband and $ 1 for each domestic after that. If you end up drinking a lot, it’s a pretty good deal. The bartender was pretty good with getting our drinks on time so I was pretty impressed with the amount of people she had to serve. Also, there is a small restaurant next door so the bar allows you to order through them. If you get hungry, this can be pretty convenient. I’m not exactly sure what the restaurant offers but I do know, among other things, they offer pizza.
Since I had a pretty large group, the staff allowed us a pool table with unlimited play. The pool tables are bar size so they’re a little small but I still played some good games. Overall, this is an above average bar in Stafford that I’d definitely go to again. With good prices, lots of entertainment, and an awesome staff, what more can you ask for?

This place has the biggest TV in all of Houston. The TV is 25ft in height and it looks awesome. They also have a smaller projection screen on the bar wall and above the stage. This place is very cool for games to watch or fights.

I like this place, not sure why. It’s not too far from my house, but PLEASE PLEASE do something about all the smoke. I realize the pub is in Stafford, and people can smoke in there, but some of us do not smoke, and it is very thick in there. Drinks were good. I had to throw my clothes in the washer when I got home, and had to take a shower and wash my hair.

Checked this place out last week once with a friend and second with a few friends. Look for kat when ya go because she makes the best mix drinks and shots. We had a great time both times because the place is very relaxed and easy going with enough pool tables for everyone to enjoy. Lots of space to just sit and drink… what a great atmosphere to just relax and so local!!!

Visible from the intersection of Murphy Rd and West Airport is my favorite neighborhood bar, The Pour House Pub.
For what I spend in a night in midtown/​downtown ($ 100-​$ 250) I can get a whole lot more at the Pour House. The drinks are reasonably priced, but not watered down. The staff is really knowledgeable about their products and is always ready with a good recommendation.
There is something here for beer drinkers also. They serve your choice of draft beer in a mini pitcher. It’s the highest legal amount of beer that they can serve one person. I always get a little pitcher of Guinness, cause I hate to share.
There is always something going on here; league poker, karaōke, or league pool tournaments. And if all else fails, you can sit at the bar and chat with Sam or Brandi!
