Atlantic Pizza

This is my favorite pizza place in Stamford. It’s been around for over 50 years and the family that owns it treats you like family. Love the sausage mushroom pizza and the new authentic gyros. And if you want to treat yourself to desert go for homemade tiramisu or homemade strawberry cheesecake… You won’t be disappointed.

Ordered delivery online. While order came quickly, I had difficulty knowing if my order was placed and I had to click «Place Order» a few times. Once it did go through, it took 15 min for order to be confirmed. It says a time estimate will appear upon confirmation, but 30 min later the pizza showed up without a time ever appearing. Ok. So now the pizza. First it’s not NY style; it’s pan and very fluffy. 2^nd is cut in squares which is very hard to eat. 3^rd, I paid $ 2 extra for spinach and I got a light sprinkling that I had to check to see that it wasn’t basil. I was overall disappointed. The chocolate mousse cake isn’t anything special. Save the calories.

Very very rude people here. First of all they need a new phone because they can’t hear everything and we called from 2 different phones and they couldn’t hear. Second of all we ordered 2 orders of «cheese» fries and damn near no cheese was on it and it was white cheese. When we called to tell them it had barely any cheese the girl who answered said, «however much cheese is on there is how much we put!» She said even if I could replace it you are far. So I told her don’t worry about it. Since you were rude I’ll leave you guys the worst Unilocal review. I have a pic of the fries as proof.

This was one of the few restaurants that I could find that delivered at 10pm, however I wish I had not bothered. Absolutely no salt or pepper used to make the carbonara, charged 4 dollars to add 4 under seasoned overcooked shrimp. No peas (which I am familiar with in traditional carbonara) and no bacon just ham. Flavorless rubbery ham. Entire dish just tastes like heavy creamer. The only reason I gave them 2 stars wss because the delivery guy was friendly.

Food is good but don’t count on your delivery order being right. You’re better off just going to the restaurant.

So far this is the best pizza I’ve found in Stamford. Good sauce, good cheese, good crust. The thin and regular pizzas are both delicious. They do cut into squares, just so you know, but you can request they slice it like a regular pie. I’ve had some of their apps that are awesome, too. Definitely recommend!

If you are a busy office or retail business in downtown Stamford Atlantic Pizza is NOT
the local business to patronize. After 3 years of ordering frequently, we ordered
a pie today and gave the order taker the instructions for the delivery man to be buzzed into the building (a simple keypad). We received a call from the delivery person 35 minutes later saying that he was downstairs and hung up. We sent someone to the lobby and he was gone. We called back and were told he would come back and we asked if he had the keypad information. At that point we were asked for the drivers
cell phone number so they could call him and tell him again. ARE YOU SERIOUS?
We received another call and the call was immediately disconnected. AGAIN we sent someone to the lobby and no one was there. ONE HOUR passed and he finally learned how to use the intercom. WE STILL HAD TO GO DOWN 5 FLOORS FOR THE THIRD TIME TO MEET HIM! Needless to say the pizza was ice cold! We called them back to ask for a new HOT pizza and we were told first by the manager that the driver (who worked for them for 10 years) could not find the building (a major office building on the main road 2 blocks from the pizzeria) secondly that we did not come down to get the pizza (how did he know if he couldn’t find the building?) and that he called twice. If the owner had bothered to check the duration of the calls on the drivers phone he would have seen that he hung up both times. I am very happy for the owners of Atlantic Pizza that they have so much business they can alienate a regular customer. There are many other pizzerias we can patronize in the area who will appreciate our business. WE WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN AND WILL SPREAD THE WORD ON THEIR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!

I love pizza so I can be a tough critic but this was REALLY bad!!!
We got several different types of pies delivered to my work and they were all super greasy and not thin crust. They have decent salad but I was totally let down by the pizza. Not even worth one bite.

I usually order from here… and the food is decent. We like the margarita pizza and usually get a desert-​taramisu.
We ordered there this past Saturday… Just two large pizzas and 24 wings for a party we were having. We asked the wings be fried hard and for one ranch/​one blue cheese.
We waited over two hours… called 3 – 4 times. We literally called a little before 10 PM… and didn’t get our order until like 1230AM… wow. We didn’t get an apology nothing.
So we pay 64 dollars for two large pizzas and 24 wings!
The damn pizza is cold as sh%.not fresh. The chicken is soggy/​cold, omg… and they forgot the blue cheese of course.
I call and they are not apologetic… they were like don’t eat anything and we will bring you a new order… UM we are starving and not going to stop eating. I was like do you want me to go around the house and collect the cold pizza slices from my families/​kids mouths so you can meet a company policy. She was like basically its too late… and thats not what she was asking me to do. I was like we are not going to wait another 2.5 hours… and we are not going to sit here hungry.
She then offered 5.00 coupon… It was insulting. Couldnt even offer a free pizza or decent discount. It’s crazy…
Take my advise… order somewhere else. Well thats what we will be doing from now on. Never ever ever again. I wanted to slap that lady with my cold ass pizza through the phone. Deep breaths…

Do not order. Food is ok but the staff is awful. Ordered online multiple times and every time they mess something up or forget something. They wont let u make any substitutions even if its a small request. Just terrible service

I come here all the time. The food here is great. I like to order the mykonos salad, spicy cajun salad, the chili cheese fries, and the Mexican burger.

Out of all the places my boyfriend and I have tried, after moving to Stamford, this place has some really good pizza.
We like to order their specialty pies. I enjoy the Steak and Gorgonzola and Buffalo Chicken pie. We ordered a gyro platter once and that was pretty good too.
My only downside is that the one time we ordered online and they claimed to have never received our order. When I called concerning it, they offered no consolation to the situation after I explained I had been waiting for my food for an hour. That is definitely not a good way to keep customers.
So just call and order your food!

First i will start by saying that Atlantic pizza was my first option and go to place since i was in my teens, since before they renovated, i am now 31 years old. During my lunch hour, of work and on weekends, when friends came out of town etc. NOT ANYMORE! I stopped going to eat there as frequently, the service is horrible, no one welcomes you in and greets you nicely, the waitresses are rude and rush you out and dont even know the menu. So i stopped going as often but kept ordering for delivery. Well today was it for me. First mistake– a few weeks ago we ordered large pies for a get together-​delivery, over an hour passed no show, we called and the lady on the phone LAUGHED and said she forgot to put our order in but she would do it immediately, we said forget it lady. today we ordered a Grilled Chicken Panini (chicken with spinach tomato and feta cheese) what i received was a sandwich put together by a 2 year old, not a panini– 1 slice on feta cheese in one half of the sandwich –not a panini– 4 leafs of spinach and tomato on a ROLL!!. A Gyro, with only 2 small pieces of Gyro meat, a grilled chicken caesar salad with rotten lettuce!!! when i called to complain the lady that answered was rude again, then the manager came on and although she offered to send more food or to issue a credit for next time we ordered i told her too late, i am completely disappointed the last thing i want is their food– another good restaurant bites the dust and succumbs to cheap bad food! I added pictures on here for you to all see this is not made up… they have gone down hill!

Another great Stamford spot… I am a fan of their grilled chicken Caesar as it is fresh, generously portioned, and they DON’T skimp on the marinated and perfectly moist grilled chicken breast. Pizza is great, and sandwiches again are terrific and plentifully stuffed. The staff are friendly and attentive, the place is immaculate and the location is great for either a business hour meal or evening meetup.

We were driving from Raleigh to ME and took a lunch stop here. Immediately the server was very friendly, and welcoming. We had a pizza and salad for the 4 of us for less than $ 20 and we had leftovers. The congenial host engaged us in a conversation about where he was from in Greece and told us of a hotel he knows there and he even gave us the contact info. On the way out they gave us a few brownies for free. They also gave us a substantial salad that someone forgot to pick up. Wow, great experience! Five stars for comfortable, family friendly atmosphere.

One of the better pizza places in Stamford. I order take out from this place a lot and always great hot and fresh pie. Buffalo chicken pizza is awesome.

Best service ever, we’ve become regulars. This place is so good and has fair prices. The salads are good portions and I love to try their specials. Never disappoints!

Ordered a whole wheat white pizza and a Caesar salad. The pizza was good, not great but good. There was no Caesar dressing with my salad but coleslaw, honest mistake, can happen to anyone, so I called in it and was told the dressing was going to be dropped off.
30 min past (The restaurant is next to the hotel I was staying so it should have taken max 5 minutes) now a total of an hour and 15 minutes from when the original order was placed and having enjoyed the pizza, I was done with dinner and really had lost my appetite for the salad. I called and explained the situation. Sadly I received a horrible attitude and to top it off the phone was hung up on me. Not really the way to go if you would like to keep your customers happy. Needless to say this was my first and last order with Atlantic Pizza House.

I think Atlantic Pizza House and I have different definitions of «small,» and that is ok! My «small» pizza was more than a meals worth and at $ 9.50 a pizza that was a good deal for me. This particular pie was the Hercules, sausage, cherry peppers, and onions piled onto to my pizza. A pretty good choice and one I would make again.
They also serve mozzarella sticks. They were alright, nothing that stuck with me. Come where for the pizza, duh!

Came here two times. The first time I had a pizza and salad. The salads are HUGE portions and the pizza, the crust is definitely thicker than I like and runnier than I like too.
My second time here I had a sandwich and fries. Both quite delicious, especially the fries. This place probably has the best fries that I have had in Stamford. If I ever have a fries craving this is the place that will fulfill it for me.
