I was not impressed by the format, the organic menu and service. Serivce was actually very poor and prices did not line up with the food quality. The restaurant is trying too hard to be farm to table like but they can’t pull it off. By all means don’t bring your kids to a place like this. I felt like someone stole my wallet after leaving and feeling unsatisfied.

Purchase to go. Pricey burger. Quantity to price ratio, is unimpressive. This is CT not Manhattan, that burger should be 1⁄3 the price. The«Wild Boar» meat was mild and the burger’s over all taste was minimally flavorful. So, $ 14.00 overall gone. I could spend that better elsewhere. Meh

Came for lunch with 4 coworkers. We ordered a variety of burgers and all kind of had the same consensus: it’s good but not $ 98 dollars good. Yes 98 dollars for 5 people. The major culprit for the cost is as follows: all sides are alla carte, so you are looking at $ 5 just for a side of fries(which you will need as the burgers are not that big). Also, If you build your own burger the cost jumps up at an exceedingly high rate for each add on to the plain burger. Each menu item has the calorie content so this was helpful for me as I am trying to follow a diet. Also drinks are huge– 20 oz at least but also cost that much at $ 3.20 for just a soda water. Only 2 of us ordered drinks based on the price. I would compare it to a plan b or something similar. Overall the toppings make the burger, the meat itself isn’t seasoned so you need the toppings and for a burger it’s on the high end price wise. Their onion rings, which the waitress claimed were oh so good, were disliked by the entire table. Those that ordered them regretted it. The fries were ok, nothing to write home about. It’s not somewhere I’m dying to go back to, I would come back if someone wanted to go but that’s it. Kind of shocked with the 5 stars for this place…

Great addition to Harbor Point. Seriously awesome management! It shows with the entire staff. Everyone is happy, really attentive, and always helpful answering any questions about the menu. Food always fresh and prepared well. Been there several times and each time never disappointed.

Really enjoyed this place. Seating was immediate on both visits, service was quick and friendly. Décor was appealing. The macho fries are pretty awesome. Burgers were tasty & they offered a number of interesting selections. My daughter really enjoyed her banana foster milkshake as well. We will definitely be back.

This is probably my favorite burger place in Stamford. The food is fantastic — everything is organic and locally sourced. The menu is very creative and they offer an interesting spin on meats like elk, bison, etc. the beer selection is really good too and serving sizes are big. The décor and atmosphere is stylishly different. The staff is friendly and service is prompt on most days. Like any new place in town, the restaurant gets pretty crowded and wait times can be a little long. Overall, great place if you’re looking for a nice burger prepared with organic ingredients.

I love Bareburger and frequent the chain on many an occasion in Manhattan. So I was excited to visit the Stamford location for the first time. I have to say, before I even arrived, I had some major concerns. First of all, the website said they were located in Harbor Point, which we assumed was near Fairway and Dino Barbecue. Not the case! I should have checked Unilocal first for the actual address(which was not on the website).(Correction: We eventually found it on the website further down the page.) Ten minutes later, we finally found the restaurant only to discover that parking is kind of non-existent. We had to park on the street, around 7 minutes away, which normally would be fine except for the fact that on the night we came, it was 10 degrees outside! The place is smaller than I thought it would be considering that most of the Manhattan locations that I’m familiar with are pretty big. It was also pretty slow for a Saturday night, but maybe that’s due to the restaurant being only a couple months old, hard to find, or lacking convenient parking. The food was excellent as we expected and hoped it would be. We figure we’ll return in the spring or summer when they’ll have outdoor seating, and we won’t mind the walk.

I’ve been to the Philadelphia location and was so excited to have one open a few minutes from me. Bareburger knows how to serve up some excellent burgers. Cooked to perfection and spruced up with super unique and tasty add ons. And those onion rings, yum! You can’t find a burger half as good anywhere else in Stamford

I randomly got Bareburger takeout in NYC last year and loved it, so was excited when it opened in Stamford. When we walked in on a Friday night there was a 20 minute wait, which was really 30 and eventually 40 so we could get a table where we wouldn’t be squished in with other people. It’s a pretty small place and I don’t love the décor or how bright it is, but that’s just me. The food was good but to be honest I’d rather get a burger at Harlan Social or even Plan B. I will say that the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food came out quick. And the wait isn’t so bad when you can go across the street to have a drink elsewhere. Prices are reasonable compared to a lot of other places in Stamford. I’d try Bareburger again but only for lunch.

My wife and I have been here three time already! The service is amazing! The manager constantly ensures patrons are satisfied and the hostess makes rounds ensuring everyone is happy with their meal. The restaurant is warm, inviting, and very comfortable. Service is speedy with iPads to help and I highly recommend them! Stamford restauranteurs are so picky these days, take the 1 reviewers with a grain of salt…

So happy this place is finally open! I went with my wife and 1 year old son a couple days ago and we were very happy with everything. We both ordered the standard burger which was cooked to a perfect medium and we both found them to be delicious. The owner/manager was super friendly and accommodating as were all the staff and we hope this trend continues in the future. Best burger in Stamford imo and we will be sure to be back frequently!

Came down with my first ever case of food poisoning about 7 – 8 hours after eating dinner at this Bareburger location. It seems I’m not the only one either, if you google«food poisoning bareburger» you will find many others who have suffered just like me. Eat here at your own risk!!! This review would never have been written if Bareburger had made the situation right by offering me a refund like any other reasonable restaurant would have done. Instead, my complaint has been all but ignored. The restaurant business is tough enough as it is but handling serious complaints like food poisoning in this manner will eventually catch up with you.

Had a great experience here! As soon as we sat down, they asked us for our drink order. Then came back in a few minutes to see if we wanted anything to start with. They were super helpful in answering questions. We had a side of rings & fries to start with — good size for two people and a rosemary limeade. The rosemary limeade was interesting, definitely tasted the rosemary in there — also gave you minty breath afterwards. We also had the pickled fried chicken sandwich — which was very juicy and tender! And the Blue Elk burger with a few changes: no amish blue cheese, addition of green leaf and spicy pickles — this was really juicy as well! To finish the meal, we ordered a hot honey vanilla milkshake — also delicious! Bareburger, so glad you are in my neighbourhood! We will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu!!!

I read the previous reviews and my review is a little different. The Décor and the concept are very cool. The staff was super friendly. Especially my bartender/server Elisa. She was very knowledgable, personable, and attentive. The rest of the staff was very friendly as well. I had the supreme burger and the French Fry/onion ring combo. The presentation of the food was very nice but the food itself was a little below average. The burger was pretty tough, the fries were stain and soggy and the onion rings had a fishy taste to them. This may be because it’s only the first week open and they need some time to adjust but, based on my first experience, the food could’ve been better. I’ll give them another try in a month or so but till then then there are a few better options in the area for a great burger.

Delicious burgers, way above expectation. Entire staff is super friendly and welcoming and the venue has an upbeat vibe and even playing good music. Stopped in for lunch from work and was in and out in a reasonable time. Definitely worth checking out.

Excellent restaurant, spot-on meat temperatures & stellar service. I’m a Bareburger veteran and the Stamford location is at least every bit as good as its NYC counterparts… maybe even better. I had the El Matador burger without a bun(wanted to try something different!) and the burger came wrapped in a beautiful, neat collard green instead. Great flavors in both the meat and toppings, all the ingredients tasted fresh. I would probably eat the burger condiments(queso fresco, pickled jalapenos, gaucamole, spicy pico de gallo) plain with a spoon I liked them so much. Also– the flourless chocolate cake with cherry compote is *to die for*. Try it for dessert, you won’t regret it.

I’ve been to Bareburger in NYC, and it was just«meh,»…but since it moved so much closer to where we now live, I had to try it again — and man, the food here is great! I ordered«The Standard,» which seems like your traditional beef burger… because if you can’t get that right, you likely have no shot at the other items. My burger was cooked perfectly, juicy, they didn’t skimp on ingredients, and the bun was fantastic. My spouse had an equally fantastic review. Also major point for the service. Our server was friendly, very responsive, but never intrusive. The restaurant space itself for eating in, is fairly small… so be sure to plan ahead. We never felt rushed or crowded, and it was just a fantastic burger experience. It’s clear that the management cares a lot about quality control — both in food and service. All around awesome — the best burger I’ve have in Stamford. I’ll be back!

After frequenting a BB in lower Manhattan for years I am so happy that Bareburger has now come to Stamford. The burgers are excellent and the onion rings are to die for. The offer cocktails as well as non-alcoholic drinks. The service is great. I can’t see any reason not to be a regular. I had the SoCal burger and sweet fries. Delicious!
