I just love this place and if your from Stamford you probably like it too. Always have a good time. Great music and I love to dance so it’s perfect. Good prices for drinks no cover charge all the staff is nice… What else I mean I just love this place. Would deff recommend to anyone who knows how to have a good time and wants to dance and drink the night away haha

Let me preface this review by saying we went to Bradford’s because there wasn’t anywhere to sit at The Brickhouse. I’ve been to Bradford’s before for office holiday parties, figured it would be fine for a quick Sunday afternoon bar meal. As cliché as it sounds, I was very wrong. My wife and I went super-simple: an order of well-done wings, a side of fries, a grilled cheese sandwich, and drinks. A kitchen guy brought out the wings and grilled cheese — the wings weren’t well done, and the 3 stacked slices of Kraft singles were barley melted on the«grilled» cheese. We decided to deal with it, as we had things to take care of that afternoon and didn’t really want to wait for new food to be brought out. After about 10 mins, I assumed the fries weren’t coming and attempted to get our waiters attention(our waiter was a male with glasses, seemed like a manager/owner). He was mostly working behind the bar, sometimes bringing drinks/food out to the couple of tables worth of people — not once did he even glance over at us. I got up and walked over to the bar, trying to get his attention — it started laughing to myself at how hard I was trying, to no avail. I eventually waved my arms in the air and finally got his attention, we were finished eating at this point. The waiter came over, I asked for a check and told him to please subtract the fries because no one ever brought them out. All he said was«sorry about that,» took the plates and got the check. He brought the check over, said nothing, and waited for me to hand him my credit card — he charged it, gave me a «thank you bro» and walked away. Needless to say, next time we’ll wait for a table to open up at The Brickhouse, because this place straight up sucks.

Great bar. Great people. Pretty chill until about 1030, but even still a good crowd after then. Friendly environment. Ashley, Kristen, Lauren, the retired cop all cool bar tenders!

Stamford, CT has slowly been gaining a reputation as a place for fine dining and partying. And I don’t doubt that for a bit. I have been dining in some of Connecticut’s best-kept secrets for many years now, and I must say it’s quite an experience. This so-called new party and great tasting food revolution happening in the Stamford area has seen many of the country’s best new restaurants. And for those of you searching for a grille and tavern experience like no other, look no further than Bradford’s located in Downtown Stamford, CT, the hub for partying and dining. This restaurant is always buzzed with excited energy and is comfortably full with seemingly satisfied patrons. I came here once for dinner and she ordered the Porterhouse Steak Grilled & served with garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, sautéed onions with mushrooms & a side of garlic toast. The meat was well done and taste so good. The mashed potatoes melted in your mouth along with the mushrooms and garlic toast. Later on that night many people gathered here to party and have a few drinks. I would recommend this place to everyone for dining and partying especially on weekends.

This place is okay as long as it’s before 8 or so. After that I’m not a fan. In the afternoon, the front windows are open, you can play e-darts, there’s $ 5 appetizers(fried stuff), and beers are around $ 5. The food is mediocre. I’ve gotten sandwiches and nothing was memorable. Upstairs turns into a club at night, probably Thursday to Saturday. It has that college feeling of sticky floors, bros in button downs unbuttoned too far, and girls reminiscing undergrad. Except everyone’s in their 20s and 30s. If you’re involuntarily fist-pumping right now, this is your place. You can’t mess up beer, the food is eh, and the atmosphere isn’t anything special. The only upside is the cost. Even Brickhouse is better.

We came by on a Monday and again on Thursday night. We were hoping to play trivia but we had some food and drinks and decided to call it a night… we’re looking forward to going back this week to try to play. It’s a nice bar, the bartender on duty was friendly and it wasn’t overly crowded. The food was really good– we had mozzarella sticks and popcorn chicken, both seemed like they were homemade/made on premise. They have pretty decent happy hour specials, including all day on Saturday and Sunday, which isn’t a bad deal at all.

After a hectic weekend in NYC, we were so pleased to find Bradford’s Grill before heading home to Massachusetts. At 11:30AM on a Sunday, all we wanted was some delicious and comforting food and a good beer. After checking out a few places in Stamford(where our hotel was), we decided on Bradford’s and are so glad we did. The atmosphere was perfect: casual, welcoming, unpretentious, and yet also fun, while definitely relaxed. The bartender took very good care of us, getting us drinks and food quickly. The music was even great — as a couple teenagers from the 90’s, we loved hearing Pearl Jam, Nirvana etc. while relaxing over some veggie quesadillas and fries, and of course, a cold beer. The quesadillas were very good, with real cheese and what tasted like house-made salsa. Sure, you could find(and we’ve had) more authentic, spicy, and intricately-flavored quesadillas, but Bradford’s never claimed to be a Mexican restaurant. All the same, they hit the spot, and we felt totally at home. I definitely recommend this place for great pub food and a relaxed atmosphere.

Don’t know much else about Bradford’s but the wings are outstanding. State to state wing fanatic and critic.

Bradford’s is a good place to go for happy hour, they have decent ongoing specials and even better daily deals. I came here on a wednesday and got a pitcher for $ 8. Other beers run from $ 4-$ 5, and they also have bar food for $ 5 during happy hour. One thing to note though is that while the rest of bedford street in stamford is filled with a younger hip crowd, this place gives off a middle aged dive bar kind of feel. They do have some arcade like games and darts, but it seems to attract the older, «start drinking in the middle of the day» kind of people. They also have FREEWIFI!

One of the better dive bars in Stamford. heavy pours and good times. They have darts, games, and jukeboxes. Great for company events.

I had fun here! Bradford’s has the perfect atmosphere for hanging out after work. It also helps that the wings were good. I chuckled at the«lazy man» wings which have no sauce on them. Nice one. I chose buffalo mixed with bleu cheese which did right by me. The beer selection is decent but will not set your world on fire. However it definitely gets the job done for happy hour after work. Mix in some TVs and I(eventually) go home happy.

My first time in this spot. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. There are a bunch of tvs with one of them designated solely for bar trivia, which I enjoyed watching and was entertained as I waited for my friend to arrive. The Bartendress, Alexandra, was very attentive and personable. If in the neighborhood I’d def try them again.

This is my last stop for a late night because of the upstairs dance floor, larger bar area and darts in the back. A bit of a different scene than Hudson and Butter since its got a divey look to it, which it kind of is anyways, but it gets the job done and the drinks are generally strong. You know its a busy night on Bedford when a line starts forming here which is pretty typical on a Saturday. So get your dancing shoes on and head upstairs!

Tried Bradford’s again at 10 on a Friday. Better service. And lots of dartboard time. And I enjoyed the windows being open in the front — it’s nice to have some fresh air in the bar. Bradford’s, you are back on the list of places to get a drink in Stamford.

Worst meal I’ve ever had in Stamford. I almost wrote this review as I was eating it was so memorably awful. May be a good bar but please, for your own health, stay away from their«food»!!! I ordered Beef Tips. Pretty hard to mess up and I’ve had them at SBC multiple times and they were amazing. Bradford’s beef tips took me over a minute each to chew!!! It was prison grade meat at best. We ordered nachos with ground beef on top and were given nachos with chili on top. Both were god awful and again… prison meat. I felt genuinely sick when I left this place and the atmosphere is very… zombie apocalypse… please just stay away

Very much a neighborhood bar… if its worth swinging by!!! happy hour on Fridays seems to last forever. I haven’t been up-stair yet, but the lines are generally out the door down the street… I guess i’ve gotta check it out!!!

A good old fashioned classic bar. I find myself here now and then for a drink and some food. Most of the stars awarded are for the wings. You won’t find a better place for wings in Stamford, that’s for sure. Available in massive quantities and multiple flavors, you won’t soon regret an order of wings here. The stars taken away are mostly for the crowd. I don’t know what about this place attracts every single thug, criminal, and tattoo canvas in the Stamford area. This is a small bar; the fact that they feel the need to hire a bouncer should tell you something… As long as you go before 9PM, you should be fine.
